Always looking for a baggy style that still shows off curves. This fit the bill even though the cuts on the side aren't my usual style. Might keep!
These jeans are great for girls with curves. They don't have any stretch but fit TTS. I found they pair well with a more form-fitting top. Great stylish alternative to your average straight or skinny jean. Might have to buy.
The waist is small but the hips are roomy! The size 0 was quite snug on my 25in waist. Great, quirky fit.
I was definitely nervous about getting these and knew it could go either way but I actually really like these jeans! The leg is obviously huge but I generally thought they looked a bit edgy because of this / created a cool silhouette.
These pants are exceptionally awkward and cool. They have a very eccentric pleat on the sides that results in the fantastic leg shape. I want to keep them - they are amazing. However, they are a bit too short in the rise for my body which is why I said they run small. The size zero fit perfectly though snugly around my natural waist but I’m hoping to try the 2 to see if they will sit just a little lower or otherwise give me more distance between the crotch and waist of the pants.
Love them! I got compliments from the right people.
Would wear them every day!
I'm also around 5'3", and I felt the cut (while definitely cool) was a little too long on my shorter body.
I love Rachel Comey, and was super excited to be able to rent these. Unfortunately, although they fit perfectly in the waist they looked nothing like the photos on me. Rather than a flat front with a wide leg, these have gigantic legs and a bizarre front pleat that made me look like I was wearing a (very full) diaper. They were unflattering to the extreme, almost comically so. There is no way I would be able to wear these outside.
These pants have a pleat right near the hip, which if included incorrectly could result in a poof at the "wrong" place. However, this distinctive design feature works well, perhaps due to placement and a-line design. The effect is really cute, and unusual.
Yes I should have gone for an 8! They really run large, and I love anything oversized, but these just looked meh like that, they would look gorgeous one or two sized down tho.
I wavered for awhile between "I look so edgy" to "I look absurd" and ultimately decided to wear them. The deciding factor was that they had no stretch, so in addition to looking possibly ridiculous, they were not very comfortable. Perhaps a bolder person could succeed in exiting the house.
I tried to make these trendy pants work, but no matter what I wore, I looked like I was herding cattle. Super high rise, giant wide leg. Not for my petite frame.
