This dress was exactly what I was looking for.  I wear a lot of sheath dresses in my daily (work) wardrobe, and I wanted something a little dressed up and flashier for the holiday party, but stayed with what I know is a failsafe and flattering silhouette for me. This dress did not disappoint and was perfect. It is a very elastic base material, so it was very form fitting and hugged every curve in the best way. I could feel some of the sequins coming through, but not enough to be annoying or painful. 

This is my favorite rental so far, the dress fit great and I loved the material. Easy to move and dance in and I felt like a million bucks in it! I could have got with either size but ended up choosing the 44 over the 42 in the end since it was for my husbands work Xmas party and I didn't want anything to tight fitting. My only cons are that the sequins along bottom of dress rubbed up against my legs and were itchy and I felt like I had to keep brushing the sequins down so they were all going in the right direction but these are both things I read in other reviews and was prepared for. The length on the dress was perfect. Would rent again for sure, so sad I have to send this one back!

I wore this for a black tie wedding in DC this August and I wasn't sure if I should get a long dress or this one and WOW am I happy I went with this one. It is a STUNNING dress, I received so many compliments - it really has great lines (highlights  curves where you want them but is stretchy so it holds you together perfectly too!) 

A little hard to dance in but worth the sacrifice. ;•). Great for a formal affair!!

Not in my opinion, the length hit a little below the knee. 

Loved this dress! I ordered a 36 & a 38, but ended up wearing the 38. I could have worn 36, but it was a more snug fit and I planned on eating a lot at the reception and dancing! Tip: make sure you smooth down the sequins every now and then since sequins are different shades of grey. I got a ton of compliments and felt like a million bucks! Yes yes yes, highly recommended! 

The fit is very true to size, the sequence makes you feel like a celeb! My only negative would be the color of the sequence can either be a silver or dark grey depending on which way the sequence is laying. 
Other than that, this dress is amazing!

Great dress! True to size, form fitting, could have worn a smaller size but this fit great. 

Event though there's a built in slip, it slid up on me and there's a plastic mesh lining behind the sequins that scratched my legs a lot and drew blood, so I have scabby scratches. Ouch!

For this year's nominee celebration at the 56th Annual Grammys, I wanted to wear a short length dress that was classy and formal enough for a day into evening event.  This dress fit the bill.  It's very flattering and fits every curve just right.  I loved all the sequins and lines on this dress too.  Very flattering! The fabric is very heavy duty and does a good job holding in the body.  This dress does a great job showing off all the curves, if that's your goal.

I was in love with this dress, but concerned that the length would be way too long since the model is much taller than I. The dress length was perfect though, and the silhouette was extremely flattering! I wore shaping undergarments for a little extra help, but there is more than enough give to the fabric that you wouldn't necessarily need it... The quality of crafts(wo)man ship was superb. The sequins were shimmery buy not shiny, which is a bonus in my book. I received compliments all night : )

Pros:  it is snug so spanx are not needed, the stripes are positioned perfectly
Cons:  it was definitely snug and the silver rubbed one of my thighs so much that it actually cut me, so wear a slip or don't wear it too tight.   
If it was in a bigger size, I would rent it again.

Fit great and was very flattering for my body type. Going up and down stairs was hard due to the length and narrow bottom but I didn't mind. Overall I loved the dress and it was perfect for my work casino holiday party. 

I felt so gorgeous and absolutely loved it. The only part I wish could be different is the bottom which doesnt give much room for the legs to move. It is very tight and has no slit which is why I gave only 4 stars.

This dress is true to size my only problem was that I was too short so the dress was past my knees 

Fit very well. Sequins were a little scratchy on the inside and bottom plus the dress is very thick so it was hot. Overall, great dress for what I needed it for! 

Fit perfectly but the leg opening is narrow and it was difficult to dance. Loved the length, as I wanted something more conservative. The sequins in the top right were damaged and wouldn't lay down like the others however, not that noticeable. The dress is also very warm, the fabric doesn't breath. I would rent this dress again for a Fall or Winter event. 

I normally wear a 4 or a 6 in dresses. This was only available in a 4 for the date I needed and it was WAY to small for me. The arm holes were pretty small and I wasn't able to zip it up. I would definitely order it again in most like a size 8 for a future event because I think the design would be great for an hourglass shape to accentuate or for a straight shape to give a curve illusion. 

This dress comes in European sizes and I'm still very confused by it. It thought I ordered the equivalent to a US size 4, but later found out I had reserved an 8. Thank goodness I made a mistake. The 42 was snug. My only criticism is the dress definitely looks used. Some of the sequins are going in opposite directions, but in a low light setting, it looked great. Sequins are a dark gray not silver like on the model. 

Great dress...nice thick material but a good amount of stretch. The wedding colors were silver, black, & purple so the dress was perfect. The pattern of the sequins and the cut really gives a great shape to your body and the material hugs you in all the right places. I had no issues with the sequins rubbing me anywhere on my body. The only complaint I would have is that the dress for ladies with bigger hips is tight at the bottom making it difficult to climb stairs but it didn't stop me for breaking it down on the dance floor. Another great rental from RTR.

Fit true to size, was comfortable, easy to walk in.  

I wore this for a 60th semi-formal surprise party for my cousins! I felt amazing.. beautifully sparkling... the sequins were going the wrong way but after a couple of hand brushes they cooperated!!! It could use a lining as the sequins were itchy underneath after a couple of times on the dance floor!! I wish there was a bigger size available than the 44. It was a bit tight at the hem around the knees, otherwise it was amazing!!! 

I thought it was going to be a little too small, but wore a waist cincher and it fit perfectly,  Will rent again.

Dress was amazing. Fit was perfect. Rec'd many compliments during the night. Definitely recommend it. Thumbs up!! 

The fit was snug, but hugged in the right places. The 42 fit but 44 was better for my backside. The sequins ripped my stockings to shreds but no one could see.

It was a little longer than I thought and didn't compare to my other rental. I didn't wear it but my friend did. She's a size 6/8, 5'8" or so, so the length agreed with her . I loved it on her, very sparkly!

I rented this for a Gatsby-themed birthday house party. We did not end up going to the party, but I tried on the dress for my boyfriend and he loved it! The sequins are cool and change colors depending on which way they face. The dress itself is thick material, but extremely flattering.

I was very happy with every aspect of this rental.  I got a size 4 and 6 and the 6 was tight enough to look good, but it gave me a bit of breathing room.  Two unexpected things about the dress; it was quite long….well below my knee…but since the fit is so slim I think it looked elegant.  Also, in the pic the sequins look all silver but unless you flatten them down, the underside of the sequins look dark so you sort of have black 'splotches' in the silver.  That took a bit of getting used to and in the end I think the effect made the dress look much more high-end.

I wore it with a black cardigan for a wedding ceremony and with the cardigan off for the reception with a silver metallic bag and black cage shoes.  Another reviewer commented about the underside of the hem snagging their hose but I wore it with bare legs and didn't feel any scratchiness.  The effect of the dress is very modernist so you might think about having the right jewelry to complement that feel.

Very pleased with RtR's service and the dress.  Hope you have as much fun in it as I did.

This is a great looking and fitting dress but the construction is flawed. The sequins wrap under the hem so if you wear panty hose the knees of the hose get shredded. Either go without hosiery, tape the underside of the hem or bring spares. The lining up by the neck is a little thin and was a bit itchy but after a few cocktails you forget about it.

I got tons a compliments and it is a hot dress just be prepared.

The arm holes are pretty small but it's sparkly and tight enough to be sexy without sleezy.  LOVE IT

I didn't wear the dress or take pictures.  It looked great on the model but the dress actually hit near my ankles. Also the sequins go it all different directions so when the light hits it some parts look grey and others silver. How ever it hugs you body perfectly. If I the dress were mine I would have taken it up about 6-9 inches and found some way to keep all the sequins the same.

Overall, comfortable up top but not from midthighs down.  I wore it to the Grammys and it was a nice original look to be set apart from the other wild dresses.

This dress was really stuffy and unforgiving. I actually called in for a replacement. The sequins were scratchy and they didn't quite lay down to be smooth and even. The dress is also really hot! The lining was really heavy and it would fare better for a winter event.

I wear a size 4 and rented this dress in a 38 as it was the only option.  Definitely runs small.  I loved the look of this dress but never wore it. I did order a backup to this one because of similar reviews.  Took a chance in hopes it did work.  Would definitely try to order this dress again but in the next size up.
