This dress is true to size and is best for athletic women with a flat stomach. I wear this to my 32 birthday party and felt like a million bucks I got so many compliments! 

Great dress! The size is a true fit, but seeing how I have a slightly bigger rear it was just a smidge short in the back - nothing that confidence would ever prevent you from wearing though! 

Everyone loved this dress. It was perfect for the holiday season and really fit the sparkle and shine theme my friend's party had going for it with all the great people there!

This dress was a perfect fit for me. Small chest and waist and curvy butt. It's not stretchy but it wasn't too tight, it fit perfect. Was super comfortable except when I sat, the sequins hurts  under my legs. Also was really short when I sat, getting in and out of a car was tricky. But all of the things still made it WORTH IT. The best party dress I've ever worn. The compliments were endless and I even got a standing ovation when I walked into this bar after dinner. Everyone stood and clapped for me when I walked in just bc of the dress. Lol

My backup size, XS, was not available and I would have liked to try that size on as well because I thought the small was a tiny bit large but nothing that was noticeable to anyone.  (I'm usually in between a size 2 and 4, depending on designer).  I really liked the short length of the dress and thought that it was really fun and comfortable to wear.

I am 5'3 the dress is short (mini) but elegant.  It was extremely comfortable, not heavy at all.  I wore a strapless bra but had to secure bra to dress so it would not show. Love this dress. I would rent again.

I rented this dress for the dinner and dancing part of my bachelorette and I LOVED it. It is SHORT, so assign someone else to pick up anything that falls on the ground. 

A note about fit: I'm a 4/6 and got small and medium. The medium and small's biggest difference is the chest. It was really loose on the medium. Also know that you will need to go bra less or get the stick on boobs. 

This dress is why I love Rent the Runway. I can not think of a single situation when I would wear this dress again. Being able to rent, wear, have a blast, and then return is wonderful! Thanks RTR; you made my bachelorette day perfect!

This dress was EVERYTHING! Wore to a friends bachelorette in Vegas where the theme was sequins and was not disappointed. The other reviews mentioned it being short and tight which is true but not to the point that it's uncomfortable or unwearable. The material is stretchy and it did not snag or irritate me in any area.

Would definitely rent again for New Years!

I wore this for my birthday in Vegas, and it was sparkly and perfect! The color is kind of a golden brown that's hard to describe and looks a little different than the picture, but it's really beautiful. I wish I had better photos of me in the dress! I have a small bust and it definitely made me  look a little extra flat chested and my post-buffet belly wasn't the most flattering, so spanx might have been good. That said, I was comfortable and glamorous in this dress. It didn't feel itchy at all. My boyfriend said it took his breath away when I walked out! Successful rental! 

I got TONS of compliments on this dress.  It fit pretty true to size, though it is very short, but as long as you aren't planning on getting too low (like I did) you'll be fine.  Even though it is entirely sequins, it is still very comfortable to wear.  The only issue I had with the XS is that there was a little patch at the end of the zipper right above my butt where the sequins had fallen off, but my friends assured me that it wasn't noticeable, so I went with it and it was great!  Loved it!

I loved the fit and the sequin detail of this dress, it does look more brown in person than in the pictures on RTR, but still worked well- Loved the neckline, and the overall tight fit, but it could be a little short on taller women, and possibly show too much side-boob for those with a larger chest.

The XS fit true to size. I'm pretty petite so the straps on the top were a little too long which made the armholes show my bra, but nothing I couldn't fix with a couple safety pins that my hair covered. Got compliments all night, this dress is really a showstopper!

I rented this dress for my bachelorette party, wanting something besides the standard white dress. It really is a show stopper. The medium was the perfect length: short without feeling exposed. I didn't have any underarm irritation from the sequins. The material is such that you can go braless. It tight, but not too tight, and if you eat a big pasta dinner (as I did) before the bars and the booze, it perfectly camouflages a food baby. I'd totally suggest this for the bride-to-be!


This is my first time renting and did my do diligence to find the prefect dress for my birthday.  I came across this dress and I was a little hesitant by the color of the dress. I loved how it was photogenic on others and thought it would be great! My instinct was right the dress was a hit and I loved it. Many compliments from guest and friends. I ended up wearing a size large the medium was too tight for me. The dress didn't rub me like most beaded dresses do. Overall great dress I recommend to anyone for a special event ! 

Okay so a large wasn't available so I took a risk and got the medium because I loved the dress so much and wanted to wear it for my bday. It's short. I think even w/ the large it would have been short. Wore with a blue slip underneath. It's beautiful and stunning....wish the large had been available. It's comfortable and good quality.

I rented this dress for my 30th birthday party. I can't begin to describe how special I felt with the sparkle and the amazing fit. I got so many compliments. It was just the perfect dress. It's not too short and worked well with my curves. I didn't have to keep pulling it down all night. I LOVED this dress so much! 

I wore this for my company's 20's themed holiday party. I was scared at first, thought it may be too tight and short, but I went for it. If you're going anywhere even semi-conservative, I'd steer away from this dress. It isn't terrible, but it IS relatively short, tight and shows some side boob. I'm on the shorter side (almost 5'3") so it was do-able, and I left my hair down to try and hide the side-boobage. 
Loved the dress, the sequins didn't bother me, as some others have noted.

It fits true to size so I needed a medium for my breast. It hugs in the right places & doesn't hug in the right places (tummy). The perfect length for my height. 

I had rented this dress in silver a year ago for my formal and I loved the fit. Looking for a semi formal dress this semester I came across the gold one and just had to have it. I loved the stretchy material and I got compliments all night long!

Rented this for my 25th birthday in Vegas and it is still one of my favorite dresses I have ever worn. It was so comfortable for a fitted glitter dress and so flattering! I was happy with it all night and got a ton of compliments. It is equally beautiful in pictures and real life. Highly recommend for Vegas!

The dress is gorgeous, I may buy it. I ordered the xs and small as a back up and ended up wearing the small. The xs fit better on top but was a little too short so I went with the small which worked out just fine and you can wear a regular bra with it, I wore one that can go around the neck with a clear strap. 

The small was way too short for my height and fit loosely everywhere else, but I ended up wearing the medium to avoid a major wardrobe malfunction. Both dressed had obviously been worn a lot and were extremely stretched out. However, I got so many compliments, loved the neckline, and was comfortable the whole night. Great senior homecoming dress!

Though I absolutely loved this dress, I didn't wear it.  It was a back up to the Haute Hippie that I ended up wearing for a Roaring 20's gala.  I am a short girl, and the length was perfect--although, I can not imagine being able to wear anything shorter given the more formal type of event I was attending...so for you taller girls, this can be a bit of a problem.  I also liked that I am able to wear w strapless bra with no issues or even a multi-use bra with a halter style strap.  I will definitely rent this dress again and actually wear it next time!!

I wore this dress for my 21st birthday bash, and it was absolutely incredible! I felt sexy, beautiful, and super comfortable! For sure you have to wear a backless bra with this, but that did not bother me at all! It's short, form fitting, and sparkly!! I wish I owned this dress!!!! It is more bronze/brown than as shown in photos, I was expecting more gold or rose gold. But honestly, it didn't bother me!

Very flowy, and formal. Yet so comfy! The sequins didn't scratch. The dress is great quality.

I ordered both the xs and the small.  Both fit but went with the s because it fit me better on the top.  I received my order when I expected it and it was easy to return.  Like other reviews on this dress the color looks gold in pictures but is more of a bronze color. Had a little problem finding shoes that matched but ended up going with a nude pair. It was my first order from Rent the Runway but it wouldn't be my last. 

Fit well, I'm usually a zero/2 and should have order an XS but a small was fine. A little itchy, but worth the pain for how pretty and flattering this dress was! definitely recommend it for a formal, party, anything fancy. 

Read other reviews and thought the medium was not going to fit but it fit perfectly! Definitely recommend and would rent again. 

I wore this for a night in NYC to go see Chicago the Musical and meet my idol Brandy!! It was so. Much. FUN!!! This dress complete the whole experience. It fit perfectly I have nothing negative to say and the sparkle was perfect. I would wear this again and again and again! 

I was SO excited to wear this for my Bachelorette Party when I originally ordered it for our "sparkle" night. but I was disappointed when it came in and was too big, I am very petite so it made me feel a little boxy and was a tad too long for Vegas. I ordered another dress which RTR was extremely helpful with in getting it to me next day, when that dress arrived... AGAIN too big, and much bigger then this dress. I was so bummed and with it being 2 days before we left I was panicked. Thankfully my crafty friends were able to strategically pin it to shorten the length and bring in the waist line slightly so i was able to wear this beautiful gold sparkly dress I had my heart set on! I wish i hadn't wasted money on the second dress but oh well it was still fun to try on!
