I typically wear a 2 or a 4, so based on reviews that this skirt runs small, I chose the 4. Such a great skirt that can be dressed up or down & worn day or night. I received so many compliments! I will rent it again! 

Great fit. Soft and comfortable - easy to move around. It’s slightly more magenta than I thought, so it could work for any winter occasion. Travels well, no wrinkles. 

Wore this to the nutcracker; may also wear to other Christmas-realted events. Really pretty. 

I wore this skirt to a work holiday cocktail party and it was a hit. I loved the fit, fabric, and overall style and am so glad I rented this. Reds are so out of my comfort zone, but this skirt made me feel so confident and I received compliments all evening. 

It was a little snug so I wore a shaper under it to smooth out my figure. 

Order a size up (I'm usually a 2 and ordered a 4)! But I got so many compliments on this skirt! Very fun but classy

Great high waisted fit. I usually don't like the asymmetrical style, but this was incredibly flattering! Would definitely rent again! 

I am always a 0 but I sized up as per reviewers and it was roomy but not big- I could have worn the zero.

I wore this shortly after the holidays and was not feeling great, but this skirt MADE my night. I received so many compliments. It was a little snug in the stomach, but I wore it with a body suit and it worked out great. Definitely would rent again. Based on other reviews I went with a size up and I'm definitely glad I did.

Ladies, fun holiday skirt, but don't be fooled, it's not red, it's more magenta/pinkish. Cute skirt with asymmetrical hem makes it unique. There isn't any stretch and it zips up, no elastic waist which runs a little small. You may want to size up if you're fluffier in the middle. I received many compliments and it was fun to wear on a dreary winter day. 

I read that this piece ran small, and it does! But only in the waist. I found that the waist to hip ratio didn't make a lot of sense. I have a small waist in comparison to my hips and this was too large in the hips and tight in the waist. There's no stretch any wear. The color is very, very beautiful though. 

My first actual purchase from RTR. As other reviewers said, more magenta than red, but that was very cool with me. I like the length and hem- it's modest, but fun too. I thought the fit was perfect! Other reviewers said it was a weirdly too tight waist, I thought it was no gapping at the waist but not too snug.  I have  29 in waist and 41 inch hip, usually wear a 10, but sometimes in pants I wear a 12. Got the 10 and thought it was perfect. My night ended up including bowling, which I suck at but at least I looked good, haha, but the point being that you can move around and be comfy in it. 

I sized up because of other reviews but should have gone with a size smaller.  It still looked nice and was fun to wear a style I've never worn before.  I wore it to a spooky "ghost" interactive play and paired it with a black lace top.   I felt like my outfit fit in with the cast/theme and was very comfortable.

I had a stranger approach me and ask where I got my skirt. So many compliments, so flattering and comfortable! I wore this several times. If we weren't going into spring and summer I probably would have purchased, but it's velvet so not a great warm weather material...you won't regret renting!

Glad I sized up! My hips were very happy in the 6. I loved this skirt and only wished I had more chances to wear it!

First off this skirt is pink and not red. I guess I missed that. Didn’t end up wearing. Was too tight in waist bit roomy everywhere else. Not for my bod. Velvet is really pretty though. 

Not very cute on. It was big and really long, wasn't as flattering as it appeared in the picture.

I wore this to a brunch and received tons of compliments! I should have ordered a size smaller, but that's my fault because I gained a little weight and wasn't sure what size I would fit. But it still looked really good on me and I would definitely rent this skirt again.

The color is everything! I wore it to an important meeting and I crushed it. It's a lucky skirt!

The hardest part about wearing this skirt was figuring out what to wear it with.  It is such a statement piece.  It is perfect for winter because the high-quality material keeps you warm.  It is very fitted through the waist and butt.

More pink/purple than the pictures. I got it originally for Christmas, but it clashed with the red of everyone else in the picture. It worked fine for the Christmas party I attended, but is really more of a dark pink. I still liked it and wore it for again for a date night.

The red color leans towards pink - it's a cooler red.  The fabric is a gorgeous velvet, great quality.  The cut is unique but still flattering.  I wore it for a cocktail wedding with a white shirt & black blazer.  Lots of compliments.

Great skirt - wore it at work Christmas party and will wear to tango dancing 

The skirt was really cute. Loved the color and sexy velvet look, but the skirt ran a touch big in the waist. Overall, a fun piece! 

I was worried cut would make my hips look wide--but it didn't. A touch me fabric. Was cut small in waist--so skip it if you are worried about bloat!

Beautiful in person. I wish it was close to fitting. This runs very small. 

Not attractive for petites. The length and cut was not flattering and the color was more pink than the picture shows. 

Because of the zipper there is no elastic and it was very small

The zipper was super hard to work, so it might have zipped up with a better zipper. It was a cute cut, but a little on the snug side around the waist and hips and I did size up.
