Wore this coat 45-65 degrees for an entire weekend. Was dressy enough for a wedding while casual enough for a day of sightseeing in tennis shoes. Worn with black gloves and scarf was perfect. 

This coat is definitely a statement piece. I paired it with jeans for casual Friday and also wore it with camel pants and a sweater. If you plan on pairing this coat with a sweater, I suggest you size up just because it gets a little tight in the sleeves. 

Loved this coat so much. It is heavy, and good quality. It does have a more body shape and no belt but I loved it. The colors were gorgeous and I got a lot of random stranger compliments. 

It's stunning and perfect for fall. A little light for winter but you could make it work by layering

This was a nice change from my normal black winter coats.  

It says "oversized houndstooth coat". I assumed that meant only the houndstooth was oversized - I would argue the coat itself is also oversized. This photo doesn't show well it but, on me, the bottom part was just WAY too full and  fabric-y. Waist up was perfect .  I wore it to my daughter's college graduation that I attended with my parents, husband, daughters, and thier friends. All 3 generations loved it!!! Very comfortable. Great quality. Just a bit bigger than I expected. Maybe size down. 

Perfect holiday jacket, went great with all my festive wear.  I also loved the deep pockets, they fit so much.  It was a little hard to button the front but luckily not needed for a socal winter 

Not only was this the cutest coat, it was also so warm! I received compliments from everyone and I loved the fit and style. Only complaint is that it is a little long for short people!

This jacket was awesome. Loved the throw back plaid pattern. Wore it a bunch of times. Comfortable and warm without being hot. Lined, so that was nice. Compliments. Dressed it up and down. 

I rented this to have something fun to wear on vacation and it definitely delivered!! It will add style to basic wardrobe staples. It was about 50 degrees and it was perfect, I was warm but not too hot. I got a lot of use out of this coat, I wore it on a trip and also to a wedding and to the mall! It gave me Blair Waldorf vibes in a good way. It's oversized and looks better open in my opinion. The only downside is that it seems to pill/damage kinda easily! 

I rented this to try and spice up my outerwear, since I'm almost always wearing big black coats. It was definitely warm, but a bit oversized and longer than I would normally wear (for reference, I'm 5' 1'') 

Wore this to the Rockettes Xmas Spectacular. Was warm and perfect for the occasion!

Runs fairly TTS, maybe a little on the large side so you can fit a sweater under the sleeves

I wore this to a Christmas market & loved the festive vibe it gave off. Not super warm or thick so be mindful of that when renting.  If you plan on layering a thick sweater underneath, I'd recommend sizing up as there's not a ton of give. 

I am 30 weeks pregnant, and usually wear a 6, so I sized up to an 8 and it was perfect.  The coat is very flattering and I loved wearing it.  I had a work trip that took me to 30 degree weather and this has kept me very warm.  I definitely recommend renting this!

When I received this jacket, I was so excited about it because it was clearly of quality material. The silky lining is so soft and shiny, but cold when you first put it on. 

The woven material was worn, and had some pilling (as others have reviewed), but that's ok because the texture and pattern kind of hides it. It has two deep pockets in the front, and buttons up the front. My only complaint about this jacket is that the buttons are higher up, so your legs WILL be out when you walk - not great in NYC winter. Another thing about the buttons - the 'button holes' are actually elastic loops, but they are so tight, it was difficult to button up in a hurry. I had to squeeze my index and thumb through, pinch the button, and pull it through the loops, kind of inconvenient when you're wearing gloves or have cold hands. 

However, I still LOVE this jacket and will certainly be renting it again, just when it isn't so terribly cold out. 

Rented this for a business trip, was great for chilly Seattle weather and even better for the cold spell when I touched down at home. Only issues were that the material pills very easily, like other reviews, and that it didn't quite close over my hips. 

This coat can make an outfit, especially a casual one. There are only a few buttons but it's warm for 40s. There's not a lot of room underneath for big sweaters. Looks better unbuttoned bc of the boxy shape. 

This print is definitely loud but in a good way. A really fun piece that was also functional in the cold

Loved this coat in every way except the fit. As an extreme hourglass, I should've sized up for more coverage around the hips. It does NOT nip in at the waist, so it is boxy. However, the fabric is luxurious and the colors pop. I still loved it

I wore this to an outdoor event in the fall and got lots of compliments on the print. Only thing to note is the material pills easily. The coat was new when it arrived and after a couple of wears some of the thread was pulling so I returned it. 

I found this quote to do the job of keeping me warm, but I had a new, and after wearing it once the outside layer started pilling. It fit well, and was very cute, just keep that in mind.

Loved it and got so many compliments that I bought it. A little pricey but worth it for fashion and warmth in a Midwest winter.

Went up a size so I could wear as an overcoat.  Nice big pockets.

Makes every outfit look more special. I wore it a lot. Only deducting a star because it looked a little used. 

Great oversized coat.  Fabric is soft, coat and pockets are lined and the print is great.  

Got it for the holiday season felt nice and festive without being too much to wear every day

This is why I do unlimited something I would never buy but is one of my favorite unique pieces. So cute 

Such a fun jacket! Wouldn't purchase because I think i would get sick of the pattern, but adorable for a weekend!!

I think it's safe to say I just love all NVLT coats. When I pulled this out of the bag my husband made a face and said "that's.. a lot", i.e. color, pattern and texture. 20 mins later after pairing it with a brown hutch dress he said he really liked it. It's an absolutely lovely coat. I got a 14 because it says its oversized, but I couldn't close it across my 38DDDs so keep that in mind, maybe don't size down? Still gave it 5 stars cause that's my bad, not the coat's. 10/10 would rent again (in a 16)

Fits well, hits midcalf on me. Beautiful coat. 

Fits loosely.  I loved the colors and pockets of this coat. Decent warmth to ~15 degrees, but I didn't try colder. Lots of compliments. 

The coat fit well.  The weaving is a little nubby and was easily snagged.  Otherwise it was warm and cute!

Loved this coat!   I wore it one time, dressed down with ripped jeans and a cream cashmere sweater and then a second time dressed up with black leather pants, a fitted black sweater and stiletto boots.  Got tons of compliments with both looks.  I did find the coat ran large. I'm usually a 2 but sometimes a 0 depending on the brand.  This 2 was quite big on me, so I would definitely size down if you are even close to being between sizes.  

I like to be a bit different and this coat fits the bill. It is really paired with colors I have in my closet: black, white, beige,browns and red and blue jeans. I wore it with brown boots, mustard top, a black scarf and jeans. It looked nice. I do like the large pockets!
The size 14 provided me enough room in the shoulders and arms (this girl has out-of-shape weightlifter arms and needs a bit of more space), but I had extra room in the waist as it isn't tailored slimmer in the waist. 
I can tell my husband isn't the biggest fan, so I will probably try something else soon.
