As a short person, my biggest challenge for winter outwear is that the sleeves run long for me. This was not a problem with this brand; this coat fit me perfectly! I’m 125 lbs/5’2”.  (It’s possible that sleeve length could be an issue for taller people/people with long arms….)
The wool is soft and feels high quality. I liked the faux fur for a bit of interest and it is quilted /lined so pretty warm for northeastern US winter. It is not the dressiest coat but dressy enough to be versatile day to night.  I mostly wore it around town with my daytime outfits.  I sent this back today to make space for new items,  but I would totally rent it again. 

Great jacket. It was very warm without being really fluffy or "big." Fit true to size and was able to layer a bit under it. Loved this jacket and will be renting again for my next trip. 

Fits true to size, but boxy allowing to wear a sweater underneath. Supple and soft lining. True navy with navy faux fur. Would definitely rent again. 

This coat is simple but the color is beautiful.  It's on the thinner side so not great for a super cold night.

Really cute jacket.  I thought it would be warmer given the furry hood, but it's not.  Fine for fall, not for winter.  Pretty dark blue.  

I would size up for sleeve length and the ability to layer sweaters underneath more comfortably. I'm 7 months pregnant but still enjoy wearing it open with denim. Nice weight for mild winters.

Very heavy and slightly itchy, but fits just right. 

The flattering fit of this classic navy wool coat is true to size and roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath. The hood is lined with navy  blue faux fur which adds a dimension of fun and femininity, upgrading the chic factor and making it different from a standard wool dress coat. This coat was so versatile that I wore it to an event at a Country Club, out to dinner, on winter vacation and everyday to run errands. It fits the bill for both dressy and casual occasions. There are simply no negatives that I can think of.  I would definitely rent this again and even considered buying it. It's a winner!

This jacket was festive and warm- felt dressed up and comfortable in the snow 

This coat is warm and cozy and so incredibly adorable. I rec'd many compliments on the coat and especially the fuzzy collar/hood. This adorable coat's bluish hood is cute and funky. I was warm in this coat and the weather was windy and in the 40's. So, I would say it is worth a rental. It might become a permanent part of my wardrobe as I would like to purchase!! 

Not super warm but warm enough. Like that it is conservative with a bright fur collar which gives it a pop. 

 I'm 5'10 and was not able to wear it. Other than that, the jacket looks nice and warm.

Fabric attracts all lint, hair, etc, so looks shabby. Also it is strangely snug in the shoulders and boxy/baggy in the body. It is warm though and the fur on the hood is very pretty.

Love all NVLT coats and this one is no exception. It is just a bit tight in the chest and arms for me compared to other coats. I'm normally a size 4. I feel like the size 6 would be too large because the bottom of the coat flares out. Love the color of the fur on the hood! May rent again in a larger size.

Fits me perfectly, the hood is just the right size. Surprisingly warm, wore while snowing in nyc. 

Rented this thinking it was black. Glad it wasn't.

This jacket is a winner. Beautiful navy blue color, faux fur for fun, stylish cut that is perfect for work or casual, and it's not too bulky/heavy. I might be buying this one because it's in nice shape too!

Fit as expected. The fur added a little fun and formality to the coat.

Love the navy for a change-up from other neutrals. I wore this all through the holidays, including for holiday travel, and it made a nice mid-weight layer.

Wore this during CA cold weather and it was perfect. Very high collar, which helps keep you very warm and insulated but had to take it off in order to drive. Room enough for a light sweater underneath, but not with anything too chunky or with fancy sleeves. Clean, elegant and luxe with the faux fur collar. Color is a rich beautiful navy. Felt like a boss in this!

I bought this jacket to go out of town to a colder state and it kept me warm and STYLISH!
The color is a deep navy blue that is so pretty. I will rent again 

Love the coat and look, and it's extremely warm. Great for a mild NYC winter, I wouldn't wear it in a snow storm but it works great for 30-40 degree weather. One annoying thing is the collar runs very high, I'm petite and have a short neck, so the collar hits my hairline which can be slightly annoying. Other than that I love the coat and have been considering purchasing it!

Fit great. Not a lot of room for bulky sweaters underneath but no complaints.

True to size and perfect proportions/fit for a short person. I won't give 5 stars because the coat looked a bit wormed out.

Love this coat. It's the perfect blend of classy and casual. I get  a lot of compliments especially on the hood! I would say it runs true to size and is thicker wool coat -- definitely keeps you warm. I am 4'10" and this coat comes to mid thigh on me. I've kept it for several weeks! The one thing that is annoying is that it pills slightly on areas that rub but I think this happens with wool coats in general.

The arms were so short!!  Like mid forearm!  I was super sad because I wanted to wear it on a work trip. RETURNED.

Tight in the arms when wearing a suit coat underneath which is necessary in my area. Otherwise beautiful and well-made.
