I am usually a size 2 in dresses & pants, but I wore the size 4! Even going a size up, getting this zipped was a 2 person job. If you have a rib cage 34 or above & any sort of shape to your bottom…you will be squeezing into this. The zipper does not unzip below the waist. It is worth it though! Beautiful dress & received lots of compliments at a fall wedding.

Was a little big around the waist area and its quality heavy material- not warm necessarily, just not cheap. 

This dress was perfect for a winter wedding and is also surprisingly comfortable/ has just a bit of stretch and was somehow a decent weight for warmth but lightweight for dancing at the same time.

Sized up to a 6 and it fit perfectly. Tons of compliments all night, it was very comfy!

I wore this to an evening wedding end of April.  I got 2 sizes, 46R and 48R as a back up.  The 46R fit perfectly.  I wore a nude color bra with skinny straps and you could't see the straps under the top bodice part.  It has velvet sleeve cuffs which add a nice touch.  The colors are so beautiful and under the lights the gold parts shimmer and look really pretty.  Lots of compliments all night.  I would highly recommend this dress.  I felt so pretty.  

Wore this dress to a family wedding that was outdoors in February in Virginia. Beautiful details and got many compliments.

Wore it for a winter wedding, got lots of compliments! Very beautiful and I paired with rose gold jewelry. A bit snug in the waist area as there is no elasticity in the fabric but fit really well for me overall. 

This dress was so easy! You put it on and feel completely confident. Perfect dress for a winter wedding! Like others who wore it, the banding at the waist was a little too tight but other than that I loved this dress!

LOVED this dress! I wore it to a holiday party and got a ton of compliments. I got both the 44 and the 46, and either would've worked. The 44 (pictured here) just fit a bit sleeker. The 46 would've been totally fine but it was a touch looser all over, the sleeves were longer, etc. With a bigger bust (36DD), it can be hard to find dresses that aren't tight across the chest/back but this was awesome, very bigger bust friendly. I think you could get away with wearing a normal/minimalist nude colored bra, although I did go with a strapless bra to be safe. Extremely comfortable, 100% would recommend and rent again. Styled simply with black strappy heels and a black clutch (from RTR). 

I loved the color combo of black/rose gold/gold, was great for a fancy clothes birthday party. Loved the velvet cuff detail & sweetheart neckline. The fabric hid a lot (was able to wear a nude bra!), but the middle wasn't as flattering as some other fit-and-flare type waists.

shimmery and flattering! i got so many compliments on this at a fall evening wedding. zipper doesn’t have much give, so recommend sizing up if you have a full bust! 

This dress was absolutely stunning. I wore it to a fall wedding in Ohio. The long sleeves kept me warm, but the lace fabric made it so I wasn’t too hot. The fit was a little tight, but overall I was comfortable the whole time. I received so many compliments! I highly recommend this dress. 

I had originally thrown this in my order for the rehearsal dinner, but when the dress I picked for the wedding didn't arrive, this got promoted to the wedding. And I'm almost glad I ended up wearing it because it was just perfect for an October wedding. I felt a refined sophistication, which is the perfect note for a stepmother of the bride. It was so comfortable and looked good with flatter shoes. I even went for a nude bra over a strapless and you couldn't tell at all. 

Unfortunately my back up size (size 44) did not make it to me, and I hated the emergency back up I was sent, so I squeezed into the 42! (I'm usually a 6/8). The wrist is made of velvet and dress has a nice subtle sparkle to it. It was a perfect dress for my daughters October baptism, and it photograph beautifully.

This dress is beautiful. I wore it to a wedding and I got so many compliments. It fits pretty true to size. It was a little tight around my middle, but I think a bigger size would've been too baggy. Overall, I loved it!

I wore it for a winter wedding and it was absolutely perfect! I was able to wear a normal black bra with it and was very comfortable overall. The sleeves are sheer which helps if you get warm easily or are dancing all night :) 

I ordered a 44 and 46 and wore the 46 due to my large bust. I'm 155, 5', 36DDD. 



Loved everything about this dress! Would have purchased it if that was an option. I’ve searched and searched online for it. So great. Will rent again!

Event was cancelled due to COVID but I did enjoy trying it. It seemed a little "old" for me personally but it was a beautiful pattern

The dress is a little snugged under the belted part. This was my backup dress since the original one did not work out. Overall, I am very happy with the dress.

Perfect amount of shimmer and shine for the holidays. Received so many compliments from complete strangers. Fit was perfect. I am usually a size 12 and wore the 46. 

This dress was awesome for a late fall/winter wedding in chicago! Looked great with opaque tights and black suede heels. It definitely ran a bit small. my normal size is a 6 (40R) and i couldn't even zip it up. So glad i read all the reviews and ordered the 42R as a backup! it is absolutely stunning and i got tons of compliments on it all night long!

Loved this rental! My normal size (6) was not available and I ended up wearing the 8 without an issue. Very classy and many compliments throughout the evening! Comfy, easy to dance in. Would rent again!

(I am 3rd in pic) NYC fall wedding, pairs WELL with denim jacket and flats, if needed. My larger bust made for a tighter fit and limited arm motions (cant raise arms fully), BUT I received lots of compliments. Overall, very comfy. Nice fabric with slip under skirt. Would recommend. 

Perfect, comfortable dress for a wedding. Loved the bit of sheen and the velvet cuffs to make it feel extra special. Fit true to size, wasn't too small for a big busted girl (though maybe too big if you're small chest?). Loved this! One of my favorite RTR pieces so far. 

This dress was a hit for a Fall wedding in Maine! The velvet sleeve cuff was so cute, and the construction of the dress was high quality. I did not need a bra (I am 36DDD) and I felt confident all evening!
The only challenge was the ribbon accent around the waist did not have any stretch... when I first tried it on, I was bloated and the band felt restricting and uncomfortable, but the next day it fit amazing and it didn't bother me all night.

I wore this dress for a September outdoor wedding of a work friend.  The dress is beautiful, very classy and comfortable. I'm 5'4" and between a size 4 and 6 (closer to 4) and had to wear the 6 because the top of the dress is pretty tight. In pictures the dress looks pink but In person it's more of a light purple/pink. If you're looking for classy, comfortable and cute, this is the dress!

This was a back-up selection for an early April wedding. The fit was very good, would rent for another event. I am short waisted and often have difficultly with a fitted waist band - thought this one worked reasonable well for me.

I had this dress overnighted after being unhappy with the other options I had picked and I'm so glad I did! Surpassed my expectations expectations and looked so much cuter on than it did in photos. I felt like an elegant little doll. While this dress is very forgiving, it also has no give whatsoever so if you're between sizes, order up.

This dress was perfect for a dressy rehearsal dinner and I felt amazing in it! It is  a bit tight around the chest and under the arms so I did feel like my mobility was a bit restricted but overall I would definitely recommend this dress and rent again (just might go up a size). I got several compliments and the details of the lace are absolutely beautiful! 

This dress looks much better in person! It has a little shine and I love the velvet details on the sleeves. I went with the bigger size for more comfort the strip across the waist was a little snug on the 42. I got lots of compliments on this.
