This dress fit perfectly. The length was just right and it didn't drag on the floor with my 3 inch heels. I loved the rich blue color and the sequins were enough of a statement that I didn't feel the need to wear a necklace. The material was not too heavy and I felt free to move around on the dance floor. The back was low but I was still able to wear my low back strapless bra underneath without it showing. 

So beautiful and so comfortable!  Would definitely rent this again!  The 4 petite worked with flats AND heels!  The shirring in the midsection was fantastic for hiding my pouch.  The sequins were not itchy at all.  I loved the bra holders that kept my straps from showing.  (I wore a regular bra).  It is stretchy but not clingy and not heavy either.  I was very comfortable all day long!  And the compliments just kept coming.  I felt like a movie star!

I am 5'5 1/2".  The 4R was already rented so I decided to go with 4P thinking that I could get away with it with short heels or even flats. This was not the case. While I didn't get the full effect of the long, ground length gown, this dress was perfect. It had enough give for a night full of dancing but also fit perfectly around the curves. It even had enough support to go braless if needed. I received compliments all night long. 

The dress was stunning and super comfortable. Received compliments the entire night. It's a show stopper without being super loud. The dress has straps that connect to your bra straps to help keep the girls up and in place without having to wear a strapless. My only complaint is that I was expecting it to be longer. I had to wear the shortest heel I own because the dress wasn't as long as I'm the picture. It came just below my ankle in a 1" heel. I'm 5'6 so I usually never have an issue with length, but if you're average height, I recommend ordering a long just in case so you can wear whatever heels you'd like. Besides that, absolutely gorgeous dress!

Great dress.  Very comfortable.  The sequins did not hurt which was a plus!  I would recommend this dress.  I wore the 4R.  Which I could of worn the 4P. The length was just a tad bit long!  

This dress was amazing...I almost felt like I was at the Oscars. I wore the 4R, which was a little tight around my waist but I was pretty comfortable wearing it. The length was perfect for 3-4 inch heels. I had read reviews that the straps often fell, but I had absolutely no problem (even when dancing). I also wore a strapless bra, which worked out just fine. The dress was comfy to dance and stand in. Sitting was a small challenge, as you had to bunch up the bottom. Going down stairs was also a challenge, as you need one hand free to hold the bottom of the dress.

My backup size was a 6P, as I'm always wary of the length when I go up a size. It fit better around the waist, but was soooo short so I went with the 4R.

I wore this dress for a Hollywood Glam themed Gala. The dress is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric had a good amount of give and fits well to any shape. I have a full bust (32FF) so my dress size depends on the cut of the dress particularly on top as I am usually 4 or 6 in bottom. The top on this dress has excess fabric so it works well for full and smaller busts. The color is a deep blue and the lining is soft so the sequins do not scratch, and it fits to your natural curves. The folds help to hide/complement the midsection as well. I would totally rent this gown again.

This dress is amazing (just make sure to get the fashion tape to keep the straps up)!  Fit true to size.  Hugs in all the right places.  Has stretch and is very comfortable.  Fabric held the girls in place (but I did wear a stick on bra), would be hard to ear a regular bra.  I wore the regular length with 2.5 inch heals and it was perfect.  So many compliments on this dress.

Only one size was available so I was glad the size 4 that was sent to me fit met. The length was perfect. A beautiful and elegant dress that I would definitely rent again.


I wore this for a formal event, and it was so much fun! The sparkles are wonderful, not too much, very glamorous. I got tons of compliments on the dress and it was my favorite part of the night to feel so fancy. I ordered the 6R and wore the 4R, both fit a little snug in the hips and the straps kept trying to fall off my shoulders. That was worse in the 6R, so I wore the 4R, but both would have been fine if I had a little more to fill them out. I wore about a 2 inch heel, and the dress was just above the ground, perfect! I'm tall for the Regular, but they didn't have Long, and in the end I didn't need it, since I'm not into super high heels. The dress was super comfortable, thick fabric and the back wasn't too low to wear a strapless bra. I danced all night and didn't want to take it off when I got home! This was my first RTR experience and it was a great one!

Perfect fit. Not heavy at all. Beautiful color and just the right amount of shimmer.

I'm very new to RTR. This is my 2nd dress in a week. My husband and I attend Heart Balls (black tie) each year, two times in February. The is the second time I have been extremely pleased with this company! I love that you can read reviews and look at the dress on people with your measurements. You can see what size they ordered and this helps you. Because this dress is scoop back,  it fits more large than your regular size. It is also a stretchy SO COMFY material that you feel like you are in pajamas. Yes, I was running around a black tie event in PJs!! ;) My husband said all the women were checking me out --up and down. The dress is gorgeous made of all sequins so it gives it a blingy, glamorous look. I am a 34DD bust and I did not wear a bra due to the back of the dress. But it was completely fine! I loved to be FREE!!! The regular fit great with my 3 inch heels. I did not walk on it, nor trip. Perfect length for 5'5" and 3 inch heel. This dress will not disappoint. Order today.

I loved this dress! The length that was just right, the fit was very comfortable and it shines like a diamond! I probably could have gone down to a 2P but the 4P was fine because even with the extra room it still draped beautifully. I got a lot of compliments and was very comfortable all night.

I rented this gown for a work event that I was Hosting.   I wanted to add a little sparkle to the event, and this dress exceeded expectations.   The fabric was forgiving and the ruching in the mid section really sucked me in.  The color is a deep blue that sparkles when the lights hit it, but not in an overwhelming way--more like Hollywood glamour.   I agree with other reviewers who stated the length was a little short--but I'm 5'10" , so I'm used to that--I just wore killer silver shoes!   I received so many compliments, and my husband asked me to buy this dress when/if it goes on clearance.   Take a chance on this one--Glamour, Class, Comfort all in one dress.       

The dress runs a bit too big. I ordered a 6R only because I wear big heels. The most comfortable dress. I got a lot of compliments. I danced all night and felt like royalty.  You can wear a bra with it since it has ties to hold the bra strap. It was very comfortable. The straps stayed put also. 


my dress was beautiful and the fit was good. It was slightly big but not enough that double sided tape couldn't fix the issue. It was mostly large in the bust and shoulders which is weird because I am a 32e. The length was fine with 4" heels but any lower and the hem would have been on the floor. I am 65" so I would probably rent the regular length unless I was taller. My daughter, the bride, was the one who chose this dress, she wanted the mother of the bride to stand out just a little! 

The Fit is great. The fabric has stretch and gathering so if you have any curves you want to hide (and some you want to flaunt) it will accommodate! The dress was very comfortable and easy to move in. My only problems was if the top clasp came undone, the zipper likes to work its way down by itself while dancing the night aaw at. Almost had an oopsie!  Highly recommend this dress! 

The 6R was an inch or two short, but the L would have been difficult to dance it. The zipper did start to unzip itself once on the dance floor - luckily, I had the hook at the top fastened! Overall, very pleased. 

I wore a strapless bra, and a medium 3" heal and it was the perfect length. I was informed by the host that he was cleaning up sequins for the next few days...

It fit like a glove. The material is stretchy so it is flattering and comfortable. I wore this dress all night with no complaints. The sequins did not scratch my arms at all and I really enjoyed wearing it. It has clips in the straps to keep your bra in place, which was also great since I didn't have to worry about adjusting my straps all night. f

It fit very well, it had a little give which was nice because I am larger cheated and its hard to find the right fit. The sequence were not uncomfortable either and I was so happy everything worked out well. Not too heavy either I wore it to a black tie event in Miami and felt amazing. 

This dress fit beautifully. The 4 actually seemed longer in the front than the 6 so I ended up wearing the 4. Neither were floor length as pictured but that wouldn't have worked for me anyway. The zipper in the back was a bit bulky and was uncomfortable against my spine in hard chairs but the dress was comfy enough to sleep in. I would wear it any day of the week. Loved it!

Size 4 fit perfectly, because I am only 4ft. 10.5 inches, I had to wear  2 inch heels , but it brought me up to the right height.  I never received this many compliments in my entire life....even more attention than 32 years ago when I was a bride. Not bad for a 60 year old mother of the groom.

It ran larger than I expected and the fabric is super stretchy! It was amazingly comfortable and I didn't have to wear spanx or anything to smooth everything out! I was worried it would be too long but I wore two inch heels and it just brushed the ground a little. I would have worn higher heels and been a little better but these shoes were more comfortable :) there are little hooks to hold your bra in place under the straps which were super helpful! Also the dress worked just fine with a regular bra and didn't show in the back.

It was a great fit! I knew I wanted this one after reading the reviews about being able to wear a regular bra and the strap snaps (definite plus). I also was prepared for the length and had heels, though I almost wish the longer one had shipped as this one was the absolute perfect length to catch the hem on my heels. But, the dress helped to make a fabulous and memorable night to win an internationally acclaimed award and to go to George RR's party! Gotta' say, I wish I could have kept it for the memories, but at least I have my pictures. 

I'm 5'3", wear a size 4 (depending on what I'm wearing) and a 34D.

I needed to add a wrap because it was a more conservative environment. It's not too bare on top at all. I was a little worried it would be too va va va voom but it was fine. It was incredibly easy to wear and very comfortable. I am not used to dresses running short on me -- I'm 5'5" -- but I couldn't wear the 4-inch heels I planned. 

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT MY DRESS!!! Fit was awesome....wore the 4R the 2L seem baggy and wasn't long at all...fit seemed stretched out. The 4R fit like a glove. The color was perfect, this dress brought the curves out. It was very sexy and still very classy. Didn't want to take this gown off or send it back! Awesome experience will rent from rtr again! 

You can wear a bra with it. It pulled at my highs a bit, but the bunching of the fabric hid that. 

The dress was a bit big in the shoulder due to my short frame.  I used fashion tape to keep the dress in place as I danced at the reception.  The dress was beautiful and felt comfortable the entire evening.  Although the designer and dress was a last minute change due to an error on my original order, it still worked out in the end.  (A tip I learned, once you find a designer that works with your body type, stick with it for future rentals.  Badgley Mischka fit my body type without any adjustments.  That will help you save time on your next selection.)  A special thank you to Rachel Gerlach and her staff at the Manhattan location for making this event memorable and amazing!!  I'm looking forward to renting again due to the diverse selection of dresses for various occasions.  

A little long but my heels weren't very high...perfect fit...loved it!

Fit perfectly. Was a little long (I'm 5'1") but should be fine in really high heels.

The dress was extremely comfortable. I wish I could have rented a 10L though because the 10R was barely long enough for me to wear sandals. The dress also started to sag in the chest area as the night went on revealing more cleavage but still looked great after a night of dancing!

This dress hugs you in all the right places. The color is stunning, and the sequins takes it to the next level. I am usually a size 5/6 but was able to comfortably fit in the size 4. I am 5'4" and the dress was quite long, although I ordered the regular, so I think next time I can order a petite. But it also depends on your heels. I did get tripped up on the bottom of the dress a few times because it stuck to my heel, and my arm got rubbed a little raw from brushing the side of my dress while dancing. Other than that this dress is a ultimate pick! 

This was my backup dress and I ended up wearing the other one, but it was really a toss-up. Rubs slightly large, but I felt so comfortable in my regular size. You can wear a bra with it but needs to have a fairly low back. Sequins are small and not so prickly. The back pleats make your butt look fantastic. I would rent again for a different event. 

This dress was a good length (I am pretty short!).  I wore 3 inch heels, but possibly could have gone a little lower too.  I was able to wear a regular bra, but I did have trouble keeping it from showing in the back.  That's probably more a bra choice issue instead of a dress issue.  This dress had plenty of room for larger breasts, without too much cleavage.

I rented this for a formal event that had a rock star theme. I felt like a member of a 1960s girl band. This dress flatters all the right places! 

It is very stretchy so size down for backup. There are built in bras hooks, so you can wear a regular bra.  I'm 5'3 and even in 3.5" heels I had to pick the front of the dress up to walk in it. If you're shorter than me you may want to rent the short length. 

Had a great night, and I will definitely rent this one again!!
