Velvet Scoop Back Gown

I loved this dress! It came to the floor which was terrific as I am 6 foot tall. I ordered the 8L. I am typically a 6 but glad I ordered the back up size of 8 as it just fit better. I wondered about the slit as I am 58 years old but I loved it. Also the dress came up high enough in the back that I was able to wear a strapless bra.

I loved this dress. Such an amazing fit and the velvet was so comfortable. I wore 5" heels because I'm small but I think 3" would have worked too. I typically shop for petite but the regular worked fine.

I did not end up wearing this dress; not because I didn't like it. I loved this dress! I rented two dresses and couldn't decide so I let my husband pick. This was so soft, it hung right in all the right places. I am trying to find an excuse to rent it again!

I had literally no idea what to wear to a November black tie wedding in Palm Springs, thank goodness for this perfect dress! I got tons of compliments, felt great, and the regular was the perfect length for me when I wore 3inch heels. Highly, highly recommend! I didn’t want to return it.

My first RTR and it was perfect! So soft, just stretchy enough for pure comfort. I’m usually a 10 in pants but ended up wear the size 8 in this dress. Almost 12 hours at a black tie gala and was never uncomfortable! Highly recommend!

An absolute dream of a dress. It fits in all the right places. It's not super tight, can be comfortable in it all night. Has a beautiful slit that doesn't run too high, and it's just super classy looking.

This dress was perfect! The 4R fit super well - I'm 5'7 and wore it with 3 inch heels, and it was the just the right length. It was super comfortable while still being formal enough for prom.

Wish I had gone with my normal size of 8L, fit nicely but if I went down a size it would have hugged my curves better and would be tighter around my waist.

This dress was very stretchy and comfortable. It provided a timeless silhouette and was easy to walk around in. The spaghetti straps are adjustable. I love this and would highly recommend this for your next black tie event.

I’m usually a 6 but the 4 was perfect. The long worked great. I’m 5’9” and wore a 2 inch heel. It was incredibly comfortable.

This stretch velvet is very comfortable and forgiving. I would make sure you have the right bra and/or shapeware to manage the basically strapless top, because those cute strings aren't much help.

This was a great dress for a black tie wedding - fit like a glove and was super comfy and easy to dance in. It runs a little large so I’d suggest sizing down.

This dress is sexy but classic at the same time. The material is so soft and very flattering - I got so many compliments! The long was perfect for my height. I opted for sticky boobs over a strapless bra, but you could go either way. The slit is just high enough while not being too revealing on the dance floor, and it didn’t wrinkle at all.

Velvet, curve hugging in all the right places, slit AND adjustable straps. This dress was comfortable and gorgeous, would definitely recommend again.

I’m 5’3 so without the 2 inch heels it would be swiping the floor all night. Perfect fit, felt great all day, and wore with a nice shawl/big scarf for the wind/chill. Would recommend again!

This dress was perfect for a black-tie wedding I attended. I'm usually a size 10 / M-L, but based on reviews I was hoping the size 8 would fit and it did perfectly. I felt like it showed off curves in a good way and was very comfortable. Didn't need to wear a bra or any fashion tape. Would definitely rent again, and I am 100% looking into purchasing this dress or a similar one, as I feel like a dark color velvet dress this style would be a great staple to own for future events.

So beautiful! I was nervous because my regular size (6R) wasn’t available, so I had to get a slightly smaller than usual size *and* the longer length (I’m 5 foot 6.5 inches). Surprisingly, the 4L fit perfectly and looked awesome with a blazer and platforms. That said, I wouldn’t recommend getting the longer length unless you’re above 5’7” or willing to wear quite tall shoes.
