I loved the idea of this dress with the open back but the top was much more open on the sides and less secure than I anticipated. I felt like a strap would slip off my shoulder so easily. Maybe a smaller size would have helped in the top? But the bottom fit well in the 6. I didn't wear this

Perfect for my Bond girl Halloween costume! The cutouts showed some skin without being too revealing. I recommend accessorizing with James Bond and an adorable martini

Dress fit like a glove, loved the style of it and the leg slit was just enough for a formal event without being over the top.  It was really short though, even with my lowest heels (boo) it barelyyyy skimmed the ground and it killed me slightly.  The next size up was perfectly long enough but way too big.  Wouldn't rent again just due to the length factor but if you're a bit shorter it's perfect!

This dress was a total knockout. It was both classy and sexy and perfect for a winter gala. It was also very comfortable even after a night of eating and drinking :)

Dress was a slightly shorter in length than expected and a little big up top. other than that perfect for the occasion and comfy! 

Beautiful classy but still sexy black dress. Perfect for an upscale wedding I attended as a guest. I posted a picture with no heels to show you, this dress is for shorter women like myself. I am 4'10 and it was perfect length. Also I don't think it ruins small. 0R was perfect I didn't even touch the 2. Only one star off because the boning inside dress did dig into my chest a little but it wasn't terrible. Because of the thick material no bra needed! Which is nice with the low back. Loved it 

This dress looks better online. The fabric is very thick... Think heavy table cloth. It does not feel like quality material. The straps fall down easily if your shoulders are not back and when you sit down, be mindful of the "shaping" lining to poke you and possibly show some side boob. 

Although it photographs nicely, I wasn't comfortable in it. 

I wore this dress to a military ball and received so many compliments. I usually wear a size 6 and rented a size 6 and 8. I wish I would have gotten a size down instead of going up as the size 6 was a little loose. But with a little double sided dress tape, it was perfect!

Pretty dress, but I didn't realize how exposed the sides were. I didn't end up wearing this dress out cause it was too much exposure for the event, but I liked it. The only con was the length, order a long. Otherwise, your feet will be hanging out.

I am pear shaped and ordered this as my back-up style. I wore it to the rehearsal dinner because it fit pretty well and wore the main style to the wedding. It was a little tight in the hips, but definitely the right size dress for them. It looked very nice and emphasized my rear in a very good way. It was quite large up top because I'm very small chested, but it fit basically fine with a stick on "bra." It should be obvious from the style that you can't wear any kind of real bra with this dress! The back really is quite open. 

One thing to note is that I don't believe this dress comes in "long" and the regular length was pretty short as you can see in the pictures. I am 5'7" (erring on the side of 5'6"). Even if I had had flats on, the dress would have been off the ground. Don't get this dress if you are my height or taller and care about it being the right length. 

I wish that it had been available in an 8L. I have long legs and with my heels the dress did not touch the floor. The bust was a little looser than I would have preferred but I may have been the only one who noticed. The dress was classy and the slit and opening on the sides made it perfect. The fabric was thick enough that I did not have to wear a bra. 

The dress fit perfect and laid perfectly on me. 

I rated it three stars because it seemed pretty worn!! I've rented from RTR a lot and never had anything look worn before

Loved this dress! I wore it to a friend's black tie wedding and received compliments the entire night. I agree with some of the reviewers that the dress was a little short. I'm 5'9 and it fell right to my ankles rather than to the floor, but I didn't mind and it wasn't super noticeable. The 6 fit almost perfectly - straps were slightly loose but the 4 was too small. Overall, awesome dress! 

Loved the back of this dress and very flattering overall.  Would rent it again for sure!

I selected this dress for a friend's black tie wedding, and I felt amazing in it all day and night! I loved the cutouts as well as the dramatic open back. It's a little restrictive when it comes to moving around, but it was fun and easy to move around in while on a packed dance floor for hours. Would definitely rent again, and wished I owned it!

I received so many compliments on this dress! I was worried that it was too plain, but it was a show stopper! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was pretty short, but with some fun shoes it doesn't really matter unless you want to to be floor length!

I wore this dress to take pictures to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. 
his dress is elegant and made very well. It flows with you as you move. I normally wear a size 10 and the size 10 in this dress fit perfectly. I did not wear a bra, cups, or tape. The dress has vertical wiring in the chest to help hold it's shape, and is fully-lined, giving the dress a nice weight and helping you feel covered. The only issue I had was that the straps on the lower back were a bit too big and did not lay flat, which I easily fixed with double-sided dress tape. A wonderful dress to celebrate a wonderful night!

Fit like a glove. I have an athletic build with bigger breasts for my frame  this dress was stunning. I wore 2” heals and the hem was perfect. The only negative is that I was really cold, despite the heavier material, but it was an out door wedding.

Overall I really liked the way the dress looked.  I did need to use tape for my chest.  The structure was not tight enough to not have support.  I probably should have sized down.  Other than that it was a great dress. 

Wore this to a Military Ball and got lots of complements. Being a smaller gal with some hips and booty, but a smaller waste I was a little concerned this dress (size 6) wouldn’t fit. It fit like a glove. The back did gap a little around the straps toward the bottom, maybe because I have a short torso, but did not bother me and couldn’t tell all night long. Highly recommend 

I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs, 34B, usually wear pants 0 or 2, and the 0 fit fine. It was a bit snug across the neck and thighs - a 2 might have worked, but might have been too big. However, this dress is short - showed all of my shoes! I wish I'd packed better ones.

I was really excited about this dress and did a lot of research on others who are similar to my size before choosing to rent this. Unfortunately I didn't love the fit. It gaped quite a bit and I felt like the straps could easily slide off if I didn't keep my shoulders pushed back. If I had bigger boobs or wider shoulders this may have fit better. The photo I took doesn't show just how baggy it seemed, but it shows a little gaping. This dress is also a little short, so it would have been nice to have a LONG instead of the regular.

It fit like a glove. I'm only 5'2" and the length was perfect so it may not be great for tall girls. I found it to be comfortable, elegant and flattering. 

Dress was amazing. Great fit. However, it was a little loose at the top. Not bad, though. Overall, this dress was a great choice. 

This dress drew lots of positive attention at a black-and-white awards ceremony. The open back is nice and it fit well. However, the edges of the slit in the dress kind of peeled back rather than staying crisp, if that makes sense. That's my only complaint. Otherwise it's a lovely dress! 

I had to wear the smaller size to keep everything covered, even though it was pretty tight. The wire in the dress poked through and required some quick hacks to survive the night. Because I went with the smaller dress, it was really hard to move around in.

This was hands down my favorite dress I have ever worn! The fit was amazing, the length was perfect and it was just the best dress! I'm 5'0 and I never tripped on the dress throughout the night (I also wore a 5 inch heel with the dress). Received so many compliments! Definitely renting this dress again!

Beautiful-loved it! I'm 5'1, 130lbs, 36C chest and it fit true to size. I ordered the 6R and 8R. The 6R was form fitting-true to size-used fabric tape to keep straps in place. Length was perfect with the 6R-I wore 3 inch heels (gold sparkly strappy heels). The 8R was my backup, it was a little loose, not too bad, but the length was longer than the 6R.  I wore "nipple protectors," bra is not needed as the fabric is flattering/thick enough. Perfect dress for short girls! The top can be a bit big depending on your chest size-be cautious with that.
I got compliments all night-definitely worth getting for a formal affair! 
Delivery was on time and the return process is super easy. Coat hangers did arrive broken but the dresses were clean and ready to wear. 

I felt the 4 was a little larger and wish I had gotten a size 2. But it was a gorgeous dress! 

Classic style with a gorgeous back & silhouette to make it stand out from the other black dresses in the crowd!  Sexy without being overly revealing, and material was great for a fall wedding (definitely not too thin!).  With the material in mind, I may not recommend this for a hot summer day/night, as it is on the heavier side.  

I’m 5’5.5, 138 lbs, 36 DD bust, athletic built.  True to size, perfect length, high quality material, did not disappoint.

Ordered 2p and 4p. Ended up going with the 4p however the chest was a little big on me. 2P was a little tight on the legs with the thicker fabric. 

Other then that the dress was very comfortable. I am 5'2 and wore 3 inch heels. Perfect length for me. Multiple complements throughout the night. Easy to dance in. Great for a formal wedding. Thicker fabric great for winter wedding ! 

I was worried the 8R wouldn't fit, and RTR was unable to send the 10R. This dress fit wonderfully! My only complaint is that it was very short and fell just above my ankle. I am 5'7, perhaps the long would've been better. Overall the dress is super elegant. The material is stretchy and comfortable! 

Very elegant. Sexy and classy at the same time. A little snug in the hips on me, but material was a little stretchy, so setting was comfortable. The dress was short, hit me at the ankles. Still looked great paired with some pretty shoes. I would rent this dress again. 

This dress was super sexy but very comfortable! I'm pear shaped so a size 4 made the straps more secure but didn't fit the backside... I managed to not have any wardrobe malfunctions with size 6 as it was too tricky to tape/clip.  Overall I loved the dress!!

Great fit. Liner was a little misaligned and I had to pin it inside. Recommend 

I typically wear a size 2 but it was way too tight in the hip area. The 4 was comfortable but may not be the best for girls with hips. I loved it and felt super sexy. 

The length and hips were perfect but the top was a little loose. I used double stick tape.
