 I wore this to a family gathering and it was beautiful! A combination of sexy and classy. It went great with my cowboy boots! 

Helped to have a belt for sure! Was a little short when sitting but manageable, and also the lining was longer than lace on both sizes. Overall, though I would have gotten it again!

Fit true to size.  Rode up a bit when dancing but not a big deal.  Threw a casual blazer on over it to dress it down a bit.

I had to go to a bridal shower in late-November and really struggled with what to wear. This dress fit the bill -- it is fun and colorful (great for a daytime event), it shows off your legs, but it's still good for fall/winter because of the sleeve. I wore it with the RJ Graziano Dress Me Up necklace, black pumps, and a black handbag. A couple things I didn't like about the dress: it is quite short and I was expecting it to be more of a shift due to to the length. Maybe I just needed a different size. Also, the lining is too long for the overlay, which unfortunately I didn't notice until I was looking at the pictures from the event (see the picture attached here). 

The 42 fit perfectly. I didn't even have to try on the bigger size. It is really comfortable and I had no issues or problem areas. The only thing was that the green lace rode up a little in the front when I would walk (the tan slip would still stay down). You can probably see it in my picture. I just kept pulling it down and all was well. It is not itchy at all, like other lace dresses I have worn. I loved this dress!

I wore this dress to a night time wedding and it was perfect! It's classy and flattering. It was a little short especially when sitting down but I could still sit appropriately in it. Also, It looked great with my nude heels! I would really recommend it. 

it was shorter than i'm used to. and is definitely SHORT so I wish I had gotten a size larger. It was tight in the hips so had some trouble with it riding up. But otherwise, it was gorgeous and i got compliments all night. Especially paired with pink shoes!!

This was a great rental for a summer wedding in a vineyard! It was a touch short, but if you don't mind exposing your legs a bit, go for it! Also, if you are busty, go up a size. I could have worn the 42, but it did not fit as well around my chest! 

Loved this dress! It was so comfortable and the color was vibrant.  It was a little shorter than I would've normally chosen but overall was great! Loved the lace and the compliments I received on the dress were abundant! 

Beautiful dress and the prefect green. The dress is darker in person than the one shown. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner and received a lot of compliments. The only issue I had with the dress it that it did ride up as I walked and I had to pull it down a lot during the night. Other than that very nice dress. 

This dress was everything I hoped and expected it to be. I ordered the 40 and the 42, and the 40 would have been ok, but it was a little snug in the hips so I went with the larger size. I wore it to a wedding and received a lot of compliments. It hit the right note: was dressy enough, but also different enough to stand out. The hipster guy wedding photographer even complimented me on my "cool vintage style".

Reviewing this for my mom: She is about 5"1 and 125lb so she's always looking for a dress that doesn't make her look too short and she absolutely love this one. The length was just right and the color was a very earthy green. The fabric is very good too because it does have some stretch

Had size 42... Not super tight, but felt comfortable. Perfect length for my height!

This dress is gorgeous! It fits pretty straight so I belted it to accentuate my curves. Slightly snug about the bottom half but not too much that it was uncomfortable. Tried on the 42 but it was way too big in the top half.  As a short girl, I loved the length on me! The perfect Easter dress :)

The lace of this dress makes it sweet, but its short length balances that sweetness with some sexiness. The color is stunning, and it's perfect for all sorts of events. Like other RTR rentals, I received compliments all night. 

I rent this dress for a charity event that I am on the committee for.  It's not a "formal" event, but people definitely dress to impress. I was receiving compliments all night on the color of the dress - it's a beautiful green color that really stands out in a crowd.

(Side note: I was 4 months post-baby, so I rented this dress hoping for a tiny bit of give/shift in the tummy region and it worked out perfectly.)

It was a little loose in the mid section, but I liked that it made the dress casual enough to pair with boots! I highly recommend this dress.

I got tons of compliments when I wore this dress to a brunch wedding. I could have worn either the size 38 or 40. It is pretty short so beware if you are tall. 

I wore this to a before noon bridal shower.  I wore it with flats to make it more appropriate for the time of day.  The hem hit mid thigh but it didn't rise too much when I sat down, which is a problem I tend to run into when I wear short dresses.  This dress was super cute and very comfortable.  Since this dress is supposed to have a little room, there is no issue with the lace not being stretchy.  I loved this dress for a casual event, but I'm sure it could be dressed up as well.

The fit was perfect and was pretty true to size, I first thought it was a little bit too short, but turned out it was a perfect length to go with my nude heels.  I felt very pretty in it!

I wore this dress to my engagement party (adorable husband-to-be not shown) and our engagement photos and received compliments all night long on how cute it was.   I even had friends yanking on the back to find the name of the designer.  I LOVE this dress so much I would totally buy it used - I'd like to find it in white for our rehearsal dinner or to change into at the tail-end of our reception.  The dress felt short but I was assured by everyone that it looked ok.  I paired it with nude heels and simple earrings because I didn't want to take away from the beautiful lace detail.  The color is just STUNNING.  

You could wear this dress for anything, and it's great for all body types.  I had no idea what size came in the mail but it fit perfectly.  I wore it for a rehearsal dinner and received tons of compliments (per usual when I RTR).  It is very sophisticated and preppy but you can make it fit your style with accessories and hair styles.  I tried to turn the preppy into "hippie chic" by doing a heidi hair style and using KiraKira's beautiful jewelry and handbag.  My one caution would be that if when you sit or raise your arms, it can get a bit short... otherwise, this dress is 100% perfect for any occasion!

This dress fit perfectly.  I received complements on the dress all night.  Definitely recommend for short, petite girls.  

This was a fabulous dress to wear to a Spring Wedding. It was so comfortable and easy to move in. I paired it with a pearl and rhinestone necklace that I had of my own. I rented a size true to my own and it fit perfectly! 

Wore htis to a working brunch in LA.  It was the perfect day dress - cute and sexy but not trying too hard.  The color was fantastic!  I am 5 foot and 105lbs and wore the 0 - it fit perfect.  Such a great experience with RTR - even from having it arrive before I traveled and shipping it back from my hotel before flying back (so easy).  Can't wait to rent again!

Love the dress!  It's a darker green in person and complimented my skin tone well.  Got compliments all night!  I normally wear a size 6/8 but the 6 fit me perfectly.  The 8 was a little baggy on me.  

The coloring of this dress is so unique and the short sleeves are a fun change from the other long sleeve lace styles. It was slightly snug in my hips, so if you are a little curvier I would recommend sizing up for that extra room. Would definitely recommend!

It fit great. I chose to wear the bigger size I had rented since it was a little short and I was going to be sitting most of the night. I got several compliments and overall would rent it again. The ends were a little frayed and the lace had spots where it had snagged or something and didn't look right, probably from one too many nights out or dry cleanings. Overall for my first rent the runway experience, I loved the dress. 

Great Dress for a Summer Wedding! True to size but ran a little short. I would recommend! 

I received tons of compliments while wearing this dress and felt absolutely gorgeous! It fit like a glove but the only negative is that it was very short. Beautiful, nonetheless! 

This is a shift style so it is very relaxed around the waist which I thought was perfect for the birthday party I went to.  Super comfortable and the shorter length is perfect.  

Wore this for an outdoor/indoor spring wedding. The color was perfect for the season, and unique enough to stand out from other attendees. Though the material is comfortable, this dress is unforgiving if you have "more to love" in the midriff area. A little more length would have been great too! Accessorized with Nicole Miller Southern Plantation earrings. 

I ordered this dress for a weekend in Chicago. I didn't have a specific event, just wanted something not too fancy, but still a little dressy. This dress definitely met that criteria. 

I originally ordered a 40, but it was unavailable so just the 42 arrived. I'm glad I had the larger size. I have a bigger bust and the dress would have been too tight in a 40. The dress is shorter than it appears. When I lifted my arms, my cheeks would show. 

I wore this to dinner and didn't feel too dressy. I also paired with a nude cardigan later in the evening when the temperature dropped and I would have totally worn that ensemble to work. 

Overall, great dress!

I liked the fit, the color, and the style. Unfortunately in some photos, the "shift" style made me look pregnant as the belly part was loose.

I wore this dress to my daughters blessing.  I really loved it and got many compliments.  I feel like the shift dress really needed something, so I did use a thin belt around the waist.  I give it 4 stars only because I felt i needed to add the belt.

Loved this dress and had been eyeing for the perfect occasion. Rented and wore it for a baby shower. The color was perfectly gender neutral (gender reveal of the baby was done at the shower). I'm normally a size 6 so I thought the 44 would have done it. It fit very snug in the shoulders and arms and while short, it did keep riding up when I'd walk. Overall, I'd rent it again but definitely go up a size. 

I loved this dress. The fit was true to size, very flattering throughout midsection. Very comfortable but still felt feminine. 

Needed to go up one size bc the legs were tight. At 5 months pregnant, I had a small baby bump and the fitted dress showed it off. Received so many compliments! Definitely another great rental!

Everything about this dress was perfect, except for the length. It was a bit shorter than I am comfortable with. However, I still wore it to the event and still got lots of compliments. I did end up wearing the larger back up size, only to get some more coverage on my legs. 

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it on RTR.  I initially wanted to order the 38 with 40 as my back up, but it wasn't available on the date I needed it. I saw other reviews and figured I'd take make chances and I'm SO glad that I did! I ended up with the 40 and 42 as my back up. They both fit great, but I opted for the 40, as it was a little more form fitting. Perfect fit and length and so comfortable. Couldn't even count all the compliments!

The dress was quite comfortable, and fit really well. It's a tad short, but that's only an issue when sitting. I received a lot of compliments, which is always flattering. My only complaint is that the lining is either too long, or maybe it's become detached from the dress, so it kept creeping down below the hemline. 

This dress fit great! The length was a little short, but it was actually appreciated. I didn't get to wear the dress, however, because it had a horrible BO smell in the armpits when I tried it on before going to dinner. RTR has been wonderful, responded to my email  immediately, and is shipping me a replacement choice. =)

The fit was a TAD tight around the hips, unfortunately the larger size wasn't available to ship at the last minute, so I decided this size fit well enough to wear for the evening. If I had the larger size, I may have sized up for a more 'shift' dress feel, but overall loved the look and received TONS of compliments. 

Dress arrived as scheduled.  It wasn't the dress I had originally picked out - but ended up working out well!  The dress, even with the nude underlay, was a bit sheer, so I added a shaper underneath to make sure no one could see my underwear!  The dress fit true to size and, although a bit on the short side, was fine for a night out in the city.

Loved the color. Loved the lace. Overall good fit, but did not like that the slip kept peaking out from under the dress. Dress is also very short when sitting. I felt like I was showing a bit too much leg for a wedding. I received lots of compliments though, and if it was up to my fiancé, I would be keeping the dress. He loved it!

This dress is a tad short and you might find yourself tugging at it occasionally, but nothing will stick out ever.  I don't normally wear short and that's why I felt myself tugging at sometimes.  This dress is super comfortable and I would definitely rent it again.

I loved this dress. I wore size 40 which fit very well. Wasn't too snug anywhere. The 38 fit also but I wanted it to look more like a shift than a tight dress, so size up if that's what you're going for. Very pretty green color and lace. Wasn't too hot out in the sun on a hot day. Good length, I have sort of shorter legs though, so it may be pretty short if you're leggy. I'd definitely rent it again. 

The fit was true to size. However I wish I would have sized up because it is a little short and I'm already a fairly short person at 5'1. I found myself having to constantly tug it down. The interior nude slip liner was longer than the dress in the front so I pinned it so it wouldn't keep showing. The color and lace material was very elegant. However this dress had seen better days because you could tell it had been worn many times before me because the lace was ripped in a few areas. Luckily I wore it at night so it was hard to tell. I did like this dress but I don't think I'll be renting it again. 

I run very petite and short so the length was just perfect, especially with my boots. As other s commented, it can be a bit baggy around the stomach if you have wider hips. It was a little tight up top since I have wider shoulders, but overall, a great shade of green, fairly comfortable dress for a wedding rehearsal.

loved this dress!  i ordered it to wear for my baby shower.  i wanted something cute to show off the bump a little, and this was perfect.  just the right length for me.  i ordered a 40 & a 42 and ended up wearing the 42 accommodate the bump, but had i not been pregnant, the 40 would have been perfect.  very happy with my choice!

I rented this dress for a St Patrick's Day work event and it was perfect. It fit well however I wore a size larger than normal so I was glad I went up a size for my backup. My only complaint is that the nude lining was a little too long in front so it hung lower than the green lace layer. But I was able to pin the lining up a little so that it wasn't an issue. Overall I loved this dress! It was perfect for the occasion and I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered 2 sizes in this dress and I'm glad I did. The smaller size was just snug enough, but I needed the space in the bust of the larger size. I added the belt to help cinch the waist and add shape. The color is radiant. The 'nude' lining underneath is a little more tan, which was perfect for me with my more olive skin tone. Definitely short. Worn with nude pumps. Compliments all night!

This dress was better than I had originally expected. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and I ended up going with the 42 (I ordered a 42 and 44). The 42 was a little big in the waist/back, but the 40 probably would've been a little too short, even for me (I'm 5'1). Definitely go a little bigger if you want more length. This particular dress doesn't really hug your body, so it's definitely not meant to show off curves. Very appropriate for a work function or something similar. Perfect green color for a holiday party and simple, yet classy.

This was a little short and a bit too cold for the outdoor wedding in October, but I really enjoyed wearing this! I would definitely recommend spanks because the dress is so formless, and any little imperfections that you may be self conscious about can show! Also I absolutely loved the color! It is gorgeous with darker skin tones

Wore this to a bridal shower. Had so many compliments! The reviews are spot on. If you have a slim waist and thicker thighs you might have some issues with this dress. There is absolutely no stretch and it fits loose in the waist area. The slip does show and that's why I left out a star. Other than that this dress was a major success!!! 

The fit was perfect for me, the dress is shorter, but so am I, so I liked it. It fit me perfectly, not to tight in any areas. I would rent again if I had another event to wear it to.

Overall very happy with this rental. Rented for a formal barn wedding in Vermont  in late September. Biggest con.. the dress smelt weird upon arrival, my guess was it was the material. I just took it out of the bag and let it air out for the day and it got better. Dress is good for cooler weather, it's not breathable when you sweat. I'm 5'5" and the length was good, a little short but I felt comfortable, could have been worse. The green was slightly darker than I expected but I was happy with that as I did not want to be bright and stick out at the wedding. I would rent this dress again. 

I wore this dress to a baby and bridal shower and everyone loved it. I wore the dress with nude heels since it was a day affair. I would definitely recommend this dress! 

This is definitely a form fitting dress. The color is beautiful, my main complaints would be that it was a little short and also looked a little worn (slip shows because of loose stitching)

I was very happy with this dress! Beautiful color. I could have even went with a smaller size (40). I am 5'6" with an hourglass figure. Large bust (32G). The only real problem I had with it was that it was very fitting in the bust and lower hip areas, but very loose around my waist. So it didn't have much shape to it. If you happen to run into this problem try a belt around the waist! 

I was skeptical about wearing this dress because of previous reviews, but I actually loved it! The color was amazing and the slip didn't bother me too much. I wore it to my cousin's wedding shower (his fiancé, my future cousin, is pictured with me) and it was perfect! Unfortunately I do have a pudgy stomach, but some spanx did the trick. RTR never disappoints!

The fit of this dress is not that of a typical shift dress. It fits much tighter. As you can see, it has an awkward poof in the stomach area. I can promise you that is not what my stomach really looks like. I noticed many times through out the night that the dress was riding up a bit & creating a poof in the stomach. Not cute. I probably wouldn't recommend this dress, even though I loved the lace & color. If you do decide to get it, go up one size because it runs small. And maybe go up another size to get a true shift dress & maybe you won't have the stomach poof like I did. 

Overall a beautiful, fun, flattering dress. My only problem with this one is that I have very slim hips and still found this dress to run rather tight in that area. The 38 fit perfectly, but I knew dancing in it would be impossible, so I wore the 40. Admittedly, even with the 40 on I was a little uncomfortable with how the dress rode up (and stayed there) when I was dancing with my hands above my head. I ended up just keeping my dancing conservative, but would not recommend this dress if you have curvy hips and/or want to really enjoy the dance floor.
