Thanks for the detail on the fabric material!

Issue with the labeled sizing.  The description size "Italian sizing. Size 38=0,2; Size 40=4; Size 42=6; Size 44=8; Size 46=10; Size 48=12".  I went with size 40, but the label of the dress says "I 40 / USA 6)

Runs very large. I am 5'5", 146 pounds, typically wear between a size 4 and 6 because of my larger hips.  Ordered the size 40 (size 4) since this was supposed to be loose in the hips and they suggested sizing down. 

The dress fits at the waist, but way too big in the chest (would be better for size C or bigger). The built in bra strap holder snaps help conceal the straps in the front, but the back part of the dress straps kept sliding down (would have been better if the sewn in bra strap holder straps were positioned higher on the strap/farther back).

The length is appropriate, but its semi-wrap dress, so the side slit opens up a lot (which I could fix with the fashion tape but had to get readjusted every time I sat down/stood up). Typically I wouldn't have an issue with high slit (since its sexy) but the material of the dress is very thin and static-y (e.g. shows underwear lines and body rolls) that I wanted to wear Spanx for the smooth appearance but wasn't able to make it work since the thicker supportive fabric around the thighs kept showing (I fortunately was able to find a pair of "Sheer Toe-To-Waist" pantyhose at the last minute).

*This was not the dress I had originally selected. I was renting a dress for New Years Eve, and was unfortunately informed 2 days prior to delivery that both my dress and backup dress were no longer available (for unknown reasons). The staff rep was very helpful and worked with me to select something that was available in my size ; however given the NYE holiday and timing, very limited selection. All in all a successful rental

Ultimately since it was a stretchy fabric, I think I would have been happier in a size 38 to avoid having to mess with the straps and side slit all night

I rented this dress for a gold themed birthday party and it was a big hit!  The dress straps have stay-put snaps for a bra and I definitely took advantage of them since the draping of the top tends to slide a bit.  Also the wrapping style in front did tend to open up from time to time and show a little bit of leg but that was ok :)  I definitely would rent again. 

this dress is pure glam and it will adapt to most body types. i especially love the shirring at the waist. this dress will get u noticed so not for the shy types.

This dress looks gorgeous on the site, but the fabric looks kind of cheap in person. Was my backup dress, and I didn't even wear this one. Was disappointed...
