I wore this to a black-tie optional charity event affiliated with my husband's work. I was nervous it would be too small, but it fit perfectly. I felt confident and comfortable all night - even on the dance floor. It wasn't as short on me as it was on the model (thank goodness). I did have to tack some of the pearls back on (a couple were quite loose which distracted from the dress). I am still receiving compliments on it and would definitely consider renting it again.

I wore this dress to the Stand Up For Cancer event in Hollywood and it was perfect! I received many compliments on it. The material was a little on the thick side but inside the Dolby theater it was cool so it worked great for me! It was conservative yet sexy! This was my first time renting from RTR and I couldn't be happier...need to find another reason to "shop" on RTR soon!!

the dress fit really well, i wish the sleeves were not as long though.  Other than that I loved the Dress.

The zero was too tight on my bum and a little baggy below my bust. the next size up fit better on my bum but was way too big below my bust, there was too must extra fabric there. So I went with the smaller size and I needed up loving the dress! It was comfortable and I could have Ben happier with a dress

Loved the details of this simple but elegant dress! This dress feels and looks like a quality, well-made dress.

The dress fit well. My only problem was with the pearls on the sleeves-- one pearl was hanging by a thread.
Overall, nice dress. It was not too formal and perfect for an evening work cocktail event.

This dress runs large.  It would of looked better fitted, but 38 is the smallest size it came in.  Be aware that the pearls an the sleeves are a silver color.  It was hard to match the pearls for jewelry, so your best bet is to go glitzy!!! 

I ordered this dress when my first choice became unavailable last minute, and RTR sent an 8 because a 6 wasn't available. When the dress came, the tag said IT-46, US-12. I tried it on, and it swallowed me whole. It came to my knees, and the sleeves were long sleeves unlike 3/4 sleeves on the model. I'm not sure if the size conversion is wrong on here, or if the dress is just very large. My mom ended up wearing the dress, and it was still big on her, but the length was perfect for what she wanted (she's 5'3"). The dress is absolutely gorgeous, and she received compliments all night long. The dress is a heavier material and was perfect for the fall outdoor wedding. 

Wore this to an evening wedding. I was concerned it would be too hot but it wasn't at all. Pleasantly surprised with the fit on top due to my small chest but it was a little tight on the bottom, those with curves or a bum be aware. The pearls on the sleeves were bright and shiny enough to add just enough punch to make this not be boring or stuffy. Because it was right on the bottom it did ride up some through the night especially dancing but it was so beautiful that I can't complain. Compliments all night! Wore this with black ankle booties, black braided clutch, stud pearl earrings and a long red peacoat. 

The 38 was a little tight around my hips and the 40 was too big, but I went with the 40 so that I would have room to dance and be comfortable. If you are looking for a shift dress, this isn't it. It is very form fitting around your stomach and lower body. Even so it was a gorgeous, high quality dress that I wish I could keep! 

Wasn't sure how this dress would look in person.  But it was so sheik!!  I would totally buy this.  But it's $1400 lol.

Loved the perfect pearl accents :)  felt amazing in it.  Added plus.  Can eat and won't look fat after heehee

Nice classy dress looked very expensive!  Everyone was loving this dress.  I wear a size 4 and got a size "38" it was a little baggy in the front/stomach area- nothing a little adjusting couldn't fix.



this dress is very elegant however it was too big  was not a able to wear it. 

Wore this to a black tie gala and reviews dozens of compliments all night long. Very comfortable and easy to move in. 


The dress is a simple black sheath but the pearl cuffs add a touch of elegance.  You do not need to to accessorize much because the cuffs provide your jewelry.  Just add your shoes and earrings and you are ready to go!  I will definitely rent again.

I really liked this dress - it was simple but for the pearl sleeves, but there was something really elegant about the cut and the fabric was very high quality - basically, you could tell you were wearing a dress that costs $1K+ at retail. It just flexes and moves with you in a way that cheaper garments do not. 

The neckline is actually quite wide and extended onto my shoulders. I liked that, but note that you may not be able to wear every bra with it because of that. 

Other things to note: this dress is pretty heavy. There is definite weight to the sleeves. Not a problem for me, but it was something I noted. Also, this may be slightly sacrilig but I wore this over leather pants to amp up the look, and I think it works well as a tunic top if you want to go that route. 

Fit me snugly. It was a little hard to get into the dress.

The dress runs large, so I recommend going down a size. The sleeves are heavy, and some of the "pearls" might be a little dangly, 

I didn't end up wearing this dress to the event, but it does have a nice, classy look and was comfortable.

This dress fit pretty true to size. Im a standard 2 and the 2 fit me well. It wasn't tight in the skirt area or anything. It also wasn't too short on me, as I noticed some people had an issue with. Even with massive heels, it was a great length. It was beautiful, you could really tell the fabric was nice the way it hung on your body. Pearl sleeves are gorgeous but very heavy. I would certainly rent this again and recommend it!

ordered a size 2 (which i wear normally) and it was so huge... they didn't have the 0 available as a back up but i'm sure that would've fit! wasn't able to wear it, but was gorgeous in person!

It fit well, it was just too long and a bit boxy. 

Not the right dress for a girls weekend in Vegas so I returned it but would be great for a work cocktail party or winter wedding.

This dress is great quality and would look amazing on the right body type. This was a back-up dress that I ordered after my original dress was damaged by the previous customer. The size I ordered was a bit too tight and two of the pearls no the sleeves fell off when I tried it on. However, I called RTR and they sent me a wonderful replacement dress the next day. The customer service is truly outstanding and I will definitely be renting again! 

RTR sent this as a backup when the dress I ordered became unavailable at the last minute. Unfortunately they only had a 6 (too small) and a 10 (too big). Even though I think the 8 would have been the right fit for my body I don't think I have the right arms for this dress. Even in the 6 the arms were a little longer than they look on the model. It was this awkward length between 3/4 length and long sleeves. Loved the weight of the fabric and its such a classy dress. Would look amazing on the right body type.

I got this for a get together with my girl friends, and the dress was huge and the sleeves were veryyyy heavy. It weighed me down. I didn't end up wearing it. There was just no form to it, so wasn't flattering. 

I'm a 42 and took a chance on a 38 fitting because no other size was available for my event.  It didn't.  If it's in your size, rent it.  It is Chanel-like, show-stopping stunning.

Did not had a chance to wear it,  runs true to size, but this dress is  kind of heavy.
