I'm a pretty standard 8. Large bust, slimmer waist, full hips. The dress fit perfectly.

I wore this dress for my senior prom and was absolutely in love. I got tons of compliments, and everyone loved it.  It also looked really pretty in the pictures.  I paired it with nude suede heels.  It was the perfect dress.

The dress fit perfect, it was true to size. My only complaint is that I ordered the long and it was too long so I had to pin it up. The pattern was amazing and made my dress unforgettable.

The dress was soooo beautiful and unique. You really will stand out! It ran true to size and was surprisingly comfortable...it has a built in corset...so don't worry about spanx! Rent the Runway was great, everything was on time and beautifully packaged. I would definitely recommend this dress...you won't regret it :)!

This gown is SO gorgeous- you really can't beat the fabric, which is a navy but is textured and has an iridescent blue/green shimmer to it. It has a great built in corset bodice, so you can definitely go without a bra. I found this to run snug, so definitely size up for backup! It's also very fitted until it reaches the bottom of the hips as well. I wore the long length and am 5'6 with a 4.5 inch heel. This gown is so rich looking in person, I really love the earrings they paired with it on the model, which are by Oscar de La Renta. This gown is a must-rent for your fall or winter formal event!

I thought that the dress fit pretty true to size, maybe a little on the bigger side. I should have gotten the next size down but they did not have it in stock at the time. The bust area was a little big for me, so I had to pull it up throughout the night. I ordered the long, it was a little too long but I used the fashion tape Rent the Runway gave me and it worked out great! I would recommend this dress for someone to wear to a formal event! 

It was comfortable, the fabric has a little give to it.  It was a little loose for me in the chest but stayed in place well.  It has a great green and blue shimmer on the leaves that really make the dress unique, it is difficult to get that in the photos. 

The fit is exactly as described. Although the photo is different from seeing this in person I still enjoyed this dress. I wore to my husbands marine corps ball and I felt beautiful. I just had a baby so it was great way to show off my figure :)

This dress is very pretty  and has beautiful details to it. It was too long for me (but I'm 5'0" tall so that wasn't a surprise). The fabric is a thicker than I imagined it would be and that made me feel a bit bulky but it doesn't affect the way the dress fits. Had some problems with the zipper (it would get caught up where the peplum is) and that made getting into this dress a 2 person job. 

All in all, this was a beautiful dress but the length combined with the difficult zipper and the bulky fabric kept me from loving it. 

Pros: Slender, sleek, sophisticated look, back slit, sturdy fabrics. Recieve great compliments. Sort of match with the prom theme: A Night InThe Spotlight.
Cons:The fabric is WEIRD, imagine ivy vines at midnight. Dark green and dark navy blue tint leaves pattern. I wish I would've wore something more brighter to prom. I would recommend this or a formal dance/event, but not prom. The bust was built for a c cup even though I rented a 4R. I had to go through these adhesive padded bras to get it to look proper. Overall, if this does not run in the size you wear, do not rent it.

Unfortunately I was not able to try on my dress until the night of the event and the smaller size was too big.  I had gone into a showroom in NYC and tried on the dress beforehand, and after getting the flu the weekend before the event I ordered the size below as a backup just in case.  Well I don't know what happened but that size was too big as well... I ended up having to pin it on the sides and tape the bottom up an inch.  That being said, the dress is very comfortable, I didn't feel like I was falling out of it at all which is a problem I usually have with strapless dresses.  It's incredibly classy and elegant and the design is amazing.  However, the dress basically looks black/navy in pictures and it's very hard to see the ornate design that I paid oh-so-much for!  I would suggest this for a daytime or outdoor event when you may have better lighting to make it worth it for photos. 

The dress has a great shine without being "flashy" and the fabric is a perfect weight for a night of schmoozing (doesn't weight you down, slight give when you are sitting). I wore it to a corporate black-tie optional holiday party, and it was a great choice for the occasion-  a fun dress you can wear without fear that your boss is judging you.  I'm 5' 10" and  wore the dress with 3 inch heels, so the 6 long version was the perfect length. My dress was a little big up top, but it still fit. I also rented the kendra scott gold sanskrit cuff (pictured) and it was a lovely combination with the dress. Highly recommend it, would rent this dress again!

I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras ball. It was perfect for the occasion. I ordered a long because of other reviews saying the regular was too short for taller girls, especially with heels. I wore 4" heels and it still drug the ground some. It was a little loose in the chest, but it fit well throughout the rest of the dress and with the boning, I wasn't worried about it slipping. Overall, the dress was great and the service was super simple. Will definitely use RTR again!

Fits really well, make sure you get the L if you are over 5'8. It was a lot more striking in photographs than I originally anticipated. Very light, easy to dance in, and the slit in the back is very sexy. 

The boning was crumbled and bent in weird ways but it still fit 

It really was the perfect fit. I'm smaller chested, but with decent size hips and butt. Found the dress to be very flattering all over. I got the Long and with my 4.5" inch heel it just brushed the ground, not too long at all. The texture of the fabric and it's slight sheen give the dress a very high quality look in person. Only downside is it doesnt photograph well unless in a well lit venue.

The dress was very elegant. I ordered it for my junior prom, but couldn't wear it because it was too small. I usually wear a 2, but this for was too small to zip up. It zips on the side; I couldn't get it to zip over my broad rib cage. 

Ended up not wearing this as I rented 2 different dresses because I couldn't choose. I couldn't even zip it up and I'm usually a 0 or 2 so order a backup size larger just in case. It looks A LOT darker in person (more black than navy) as the shiny detail shows only in the light. Overall it is very pretty but didn't fit and wasn't really the color I wanted or expected.
