I thought this dress might look a little odd or grumpy on me but I got compliments all night and I felt beautiful and edgy all night. Will definitely rent again!!!!

This dress is unique and eye catching, however the neckline is very high and I found it to be irritating. I tried it backward, tucked the pocket flaps in, and paired it with a mock turtleneck bodysuit underneath (because it’s winter here in the NorthEast) and red boots and it was ultimately a huge hit. 

Definitely worth renting but it may require some experimenting with styling to get it right. It fits TTS and while the material has a little bit of give it would not have fit me if I had sized down - also, the chest area is quite fitted so may need to size up for a larger chest. 

I’m obsessed with this dress, I’ve rented it so many times. It’s so cool and definitely a statement piece. Others have mentioned beWARE the slit does go a bit high in the back, so just be careful! I wore little bike shorts under.

This dress was fitted but very comfortable with a soft hand-feel. The deconstructed suiting details are amazing. Has a very tailored look perfect for work. This dress was a huge hit at work. Incredible vibes.

Hmmm, I really want to love this one. I was so excited to rent it. I love the pattern, the unique style, the interesting hem. I love all of it in theory but it slightly misses the mark. Some of it might be the length. At 5'7, I'm finding myself wishing it was either a tad shorter or a bit longer. Also, you can't really tell from his photo, but the additional fabric on the inside of the dress in the upper chest area is visible and creates a lumpy look in a place where you obviously want it smooth. I can't get past how distracting that is. It's also a very lightweight dress, which I don't mind necessarily, but I think I was expecting something more seasonal. Size wise, I’d say it fits TTS, if not a tad large. I’m between a 2 and a 4 and the 2 fine with a bit of room. 

All in all, I'd say it's definitely worth a try, just maybe lower expectations. 

This was awesome! My only issue was how the slits in the skirt fell for me, had to be careful with how I sat. Otherwise was super fun to wear!

When I first tried this on, I wasn’t sure it was going to work. It seemed to fit on top, but looked loose at the waist and hips. I ended up putting a white shirt underneath and that alleviated the “hangy” look enough to be wearable. I ended up getting a lot of compliments and might rent again later in a smaller size. I would agree with other reviewers about the high back slit…I also used a safety pin. 

Classic sheath shape with a twist. This is a second time rental as I love the fresh take with the different conservative prints. It was a little loose and I could have probably sized down to the 4. Was great for a work convention.

The top fit on this was great but it was a bit too long with the uneven bottom for this petite. It’s got a slit which is nice but the dress does need a little TLC when sitting down, otherwise quite comfy to wear. I thought the pattern and style was unique and cute, but it wasn’t loved by some who joked that I looked like Orphan Annie :) 

This dress was very well made and pretty flattering. I got several compliments, which I didn’t expect. Fun choice. 

I liked the concept of this dress, but am not impressed with the execution. Ironing was challenging because the back surge was puckered. I also didn’t realize (or forgot) that the back slit is super high until a strong breeze hit while I was walking in front of reflective windows and I got a glimpse of my backside. 

I could have sized down. Very interesting patchwork of tailored pants. Very cool to reimagine as a dress. Beware of the deep slit!

I loved this dress. Great fit for a work related event. A couple of things that were important for me- no matter how many times I straightened out the material, the back became wrinkled. And most importantly- the slit in the back is LONG/TALL. I had to pin it because it bordered on exposing my butt. So pick undergarments wisely! 

This dress was unique and interesting. I wore it for a business conference. It was slightly loose which was okay - I probably could have worn a size 6. But it was comfortable. 

The quality of the fabrics & the tailoring of this piece are incredible. It's so much better in real life. The details- the belt loops & inside lining on the outside of the suit pants along the hem, the side and back slits/vents, the functional pockets (may be stitched closed to protect pocket before wear- slits often are also often tacked stitched on suit skirts - you can open those up with a stitch ripper or do it very carefully with scissors). I love this dress with a collared shirt underneath during colder weather. It looks fabulous with a crisp white collar and I loved it with pink silk. The panels are navy and grey pinstripes, and a black plaid material that has a pink/red color striped in it. It's a subtle pop of color and I'd love to see someone highlight it wearing red heels! Footwear was the toughest part of wearing the dress - I went with black boots but think maybe pink or navy heels would be better. The slits are a little high for my comfort at work, but not enough that I pinned or tacked them up. I just managed sitting carefully- because I can't see the back slits, it might've been an issue but 🤷‍♀️. I would absolutely buy this and wear it as often as I could if it more in my price range. I'm contemplating a career change just to buy it (: It's THAT good. I know some aren't a fan of the traditional shell/sheath neckline- try it with a collared shirt and it might change your mind. In my mind, sheath dresses and shells are the female equivalent of men's suitwear for professional settings, so a crisp, starched collar might change your mind about these kinds of collars. A silk one softens the look just a touch. 34D, 5'8 and 145ish in these photos wearing a size 10 Monse sheath dress (wearing a size 10 in most brands currently). Fit was perfect.

This looks like a mess if you don't take the time to iron it. However, I really like the look. 

Also prob best to wear with opaque tights if wearing to the office as it’s for high cut outs and slits

Obsessed with this beautifully cut Monse dress! Was perfect work Virtual Lobby Meeting with Legislators to stand out and be remembered even through Zoom! Would rent a size down as the 2 was a touch large, but still fit and looked beautiful sitting down in my wheelchair as well. Absolutely must-rent for a standout professional look! ❤️💕 

I’ve been waiting for this to be available in my size for awhile. I was disappointed when it arrived though. It’s very big. A bit too long. The material is nothing special. Thought it would be better considering the retail price 

Wore for work and after work function.

I adored this dress and definitely would call this a compliment magnet. Perfect weight for summer, this dress was very unique but still appropriate for a more conservative work environment. Fit perfectly TTS for me. I needed help getting the zipper up but this one is a hall of fame rental for me!

I love the style of this dress that looks like several different patterns from suits. I wish it was lined, especially since it is a very expensive number. It is a cute and different dress, with the atypical hemline. The chest was tight for me, but I have a broad back and fuller bust. Cute look for a one time rental. 

The deconstructed look is unique. The fabric feels luxurious. Very lovely.

Ladies!!!!!! It has pockets! They are real pockets! My rental arrived with the pockets still sewn shut, open the pockets up!!!!!! 

This dress is amazing and if it were less expensive I would buy it.  Every single detail is so thoughtful like the pants hem at the bottom of the dress.  RENT THIS!

very flattering and interesting, but professional. with some shapewear to hide postpartum tummy, and a fresh tan to make an impression of toned arms, it made me look like i am wearing a $1000+ dress..

Loved this dress. Really fashion forward, expensive and cool. Only negative was I wish I could have sized down. 

Got so many compliments around the office.  Very flattering while being work-appropriate.  One note for larger-chested ladies, there's not a ton of "give" in the chest.  I'm a 36DD and was just barely able to zip it.

Perfect twist on the blue dress for work.  Wry comfortable 

Such a fun twist on traditional work dress! It has a side zipper and the left shoulder is all buttons so you don't have to put the style over your head which I always love. It does run on the smaller side especially if you have a larger chest so I would recommend sizing up! Would look fabulous with a kitten heel :)

Came with tags… always a major bonus. Love this designers aesthetic. Usually runs small, so I thought this would fit perfect (4) and it was a touch loose-runs fairly true to size! Many compliments!! Very businesslike with fun twist! The split hemline with waistband makes this dress! It is dark navy pinstripe. Definitely rent this!
