I generally size up in formal dresses. I have a very broad back and shoulders. This dress fit beautifully. So many ways you can wear it. Would be great for a wedding or pictures as I used it for photos with my baby.
I'm 5'9" and this dress ran perfectly
This dress was really great for the wedding I was in. However, size up. I’m normally a 14 and got a 16 and it was still a little tight. But I think a 18 would have been too big. The length was ok. The sheer overlay is longer than the slip underneath. Overall, love the dress.
I wore this dress as a bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding. The color was light pink but in some lights it looked more nude than pink, still loved the color. The neckline was high and I'm glad I got a size up because it was a little tight around the armpit area. The rental also came with a stain on the front that was not noticeable in pictures but was when you looked close. Overall, it was a great dress, romantic and classic.
Beautiful dress - modest cut. You do need a strapless bra but we already had one. It fit true to size with heals on.
I needed a dress to wear to my office holiday party when I was 3 months pregnant. This dress was perfect because the waist was cut higher than normal, so it was just all flowy fabric around my belly which was already starting to expand. (I couldn't bear the thought of wearing anything tight around my waist.) The color is a gorgeous soft blush pink and the skirt flowed really nicely. It was especially good for twirling on the dance floor. Before getting pregnant I had a 28" underbust and the 2R size fit just right. By the end of the night, after some dancing (and I presume some swelling from the dancing), it started to feel slightly tight around my ribcage but not super uncomfortable. I wore this dress with the Betsey Johnson "Lucy" embellished flats in Blush and the color paired beautifully. I will say though that with the flats, the bottom of the dress was already slightly grazing the floor, so I would not recommend wearing flats with this dress for anyone under 5'8". I got lots of compliments from my coworkers involving this dress and I'm so happy I picked it!
Definitely runs small. I usually wear a 14/16, and neither fit. Luckily i was able to get a replacement sent with sizes 18/20 - I wore the 18 and it fit great! Definitely keep that in mine when ordering and size up at least 1 size.
I love this alluring Pink Daniela Gown by Monique Lhuillier Bridesmaid. Running small with some stretch, I recommend sizing up for your primary size. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and straight at the hips. It works best for A-C cups. You are not able to wear a strapless bra with this gown so you should wear a strapless bra since it has a halter neckline. At 5'5, the length hit floor length on me. The pink chiffon material feels like a dream and it's a great choice for your bridal party. Pair with nude heels and dangling earrings to complete your outfit!
It fit true to size and created a mini-train for me since I'm so short. The color was stunning also! Such a gorgeous soft blush. I would definitely rent it again!
Wore for a red carpet event. Chest runs a bit tight. Definitely need to size up. Loved it overall. Nice color and fabric.
I am a 36D bra and this dress was tight enough to keep them in place without a bra. I wore it all night and danced freely and comfortably! Highly recommend
I got the 14L & 16L. The only difference I noticed was the top was looser in the bust on the 16. I am 5’9 190lbs and a 36D and the size 14L worked great. I didn’t love the tie in the front and ended up putting it in the back.
The dress was a little tight around my ribs but I probably should have gotten a bigger size. It's a lot of material on the bottom so I kept tripping up the stairs. Over all though I loved it. Excellent for a bridesmaid dress!
Size 8 fit perfectly. Although too large for my height.
I felt like a princess!
Very flattering and comfortable, but definitely size up!
Wore this dress to a formal banquet. Received many compliments. So glad the dress was long enough for my shoes. The dress still hit the floor.
Comfortable only con is that the hanger straps liked to pop out.
I wanted a nice flowing dress, but this made me look like a bridesmaid.
It was fairly tight in the rib cage and extremely long. Be prepared to wear extremely high heels!
I ended up actually not wearing this but NOT because it wasn't perfect, it came with some hot pink stains on it so I wore my backup dress. This was gorgeous, fit perfectly (snug waist really shows off your figure). I would have worn the tie in the back, I liked it better that way. This would be a perfect bridesmaid dress.
Fit was perfect. Length was a touch long, but since daughter is in between regular length and long length, this was expected. Overall, a very beautiful dress.
Very pleased with quality fit and color of dress. A little long. Would order petite if height less than 5ft 5”.
I normally wear a 6P or 6R and ordered a backup in 8R, and even the 8 was way too tight. I couldn't zip it up. Otherwise a beautiful dress, and bummed I couldnt wear it. If you have a fuller chest, or broad back it might not be the best dress, unless you size way up.
Rented this for my daughter's prom. It's a beautiful dress but the zipper was super tricky - had to zip it only halfway down and pull it over her head. It was getting stuck where the waistband came into play. But she loved it!
Way too long!
