This dress made me feel so beautiful, because it’s so flattering. It fit perfectly with the adjustable straps. I’m only 5’2”, so it hit at my ankles, but it didn’t bother me. You won’t regret renting this dress!

I wore this dress while 8 months pregnant and sized up for the pregnancy. I absolutely loved the dress but the straps are not adjustable so I had to use tape to tighten the straps. 

Absolutely loved this dress. Wore with ~4in heels but the height was perfect with or without. Totally petite friendly. 
I do wish the straps were adjustable but they were ok. Did not need a bra. The lining on the bottom is relatively straight but enough room to move/dance. 

I got this dress as a last minute option to go to a bat mitzvah. I gained weight and my other dress didn’t fit. This is definitely out of my comfort zone for my size, but the other reviews for size 14 seemed hopeful. Personally, I just didn’t feel comfortable with how it fit me and how it revealed the shape of my body. I think if you feel confident enough to show it off then you would like it.  I also think that if the ribbing on top was tighter/more structured that part would look better. 

Overall, beautiful dress, just not for me. 

I so badly wanted this one to work, but it just didn’t fit my pair shape very well. I even had on Spanx, but it just didn’t work. I probably could’ve pulled it off if it was a size bigger but then the top would’ve been too big for me, so there was just no way to make it happen. It’s a beautiful dress, though. It’s kind of hard to tell in the pictures with detail.

Felt like a million bucks in this - will say I can fit a 6 at times on RTR, but they only had a 8 available when I ordered it - THANK GOD. Definitely choose your bigger size option when ordering this one, the corset structure has zero give. But comfy dress! Compliments all night!!

Fits tight up too, best for smaller bust. Not able to wear bra. I have a large torso due to swimming. Feels great, velvet design is so soft. Corset boning is not uncomfortable at al, even when seated. Made me feel great but doesn’t photograph the same as images. Great dress overall. Would rent again. 

I am on a weight loss journey and this dress was so figure flattering, I didn’t even need spanx. Definitely perfect for a fall/winter wedding.

I wore this dress to watch an opera show. It fit perfectly on my big hips. However, since I have a tiny shoulder, the shoulder ties kept slipping.

Obsessed with this dress even though I didn’t realize it was velvet and wore it Labor Day in muggy DC 🙃 

Doesn’t have any stretch but you feel secure and kinda wish I went smaller (tip for hour glass) Super thick material and detail was beautiful. Would rent again!

Got a million compliments on the dress. Was fancy and sexy. Love the velvet texture, the corset style, and flared bottom. You can untie the straps and make it tighter or looser. I bought this dress!

I absolutely loved this dress. Perfect fit and so flattering. I got so many complaints on it! The fabric is also quite stretchy which makes it perfect for dancing and eating even though it has a mermaid cut

I got a 16 and a 14 and while the 14 was a little snug it worked! The straps aren’t adjustable so I was a bit TTFP (too titty for public) but I still adored the dress/could cover it with a shawl. Wish I could have kept it! What a great piece.

This dress has incredible structure that complimented me so well! The beautiful detail of the corset top and the heavier fabric make it beautiful to behold up close. I wore it to sing in a cabaret and it just made me feel like a million dollars! 
I will absolutely find an occasion to wear again!

I did have a problem with the slip getting stuck on my shape-wear. It would not come down without getting completely undressed. 

This will forever be one of my favorite dresses! I typically don’t wear this type of dress but read the reviews and decided to give it a try. And I am so glad I did. This dress was stunning and I got so many compliments all night. 

LOVED how I looked in the dress, felt very classy. I received so many compliments. I’m 5’1” so of course it hit lower than most but didn’t look bad. The ribbing was already poking through a bit and they had put a literal bandaid over it. Smart but I have a very short torso so sitting or bending I got a little pinch every once in a while but that’s to be expected with used dresses. My measurements are 40” 36” 41” hope that helps


I’m a pear shape with a smaller bust. The top needed to be taken in a bit (I did so with a safety pin and it did the trick at the straps) but overall it was very flattering and got tons of compliments. Know that the straps are sewn together so you can’t adjust the straps as a normal tie at the shoulder

I felt like a million bucks in this beauty. I originally paired it with black strappy heels and wore it to a formal Christmas party. It’s very comfortable and hugs curves without that unflattering squeeze.

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding. I love the length and shape of the dress. It was slightly tight on the top and less in the hips. Would wear it again!

Fit great. Bust cups were a little small (38DD) but I made it work! Received lots of compliments. Actually gave my athletic build a defined waist!

This dress is GORGEOUS. I wore it to a black tie wedding and it was perfect. The corset gave a really nice silhouette and the velvet felt so regal. I felt like a million bucks in this dress! 

This dress was the perfect dress to wear to this black tie wedding I was invited to. My boyfriend was in the wedding so I really had to bring it. It fit absolutely perfectly not too tight and not to loose. 

This dress has the perfect “Old Hollywood” vibe. Fitted in all the right places. One note, it’s tight around the legs so be aware of that when getting in and out of cars or going up steep stairs 😂

This was my most favorite dress I've rented so far from RTR. At first it was too tight, but it gave a little once a wore it for a few minutes. The amount of compliments I got was insane. I felt like I was Cinderella in this dress.  Cannot recommend it enough. 

Gorgeous dress and great fit. I wore the 12, as I was still 6 months postpartum. The dress was a dream! 

This is a sexy beautiful dress but just not for my proportions. Based on the photos I thought the straps were adjustable but no, so the bust cups didn't quite line up, making the dress Ill-fitting and I felt a bit uncomfortable. Should've gotten a backup style! 

It's not as hot and heavy as it looks it was 95 outside and I was comfortable. The straps tie but can't be adjusted. I'm big chested and the girls fit great with no bra necessary. 

This dress was giving!! Looked so good in person photos didn't do it justice. 

Fit was good, velvet fabric texture with patterned cutout. Loved the length which was right above my shoes. Felt nice to watch the structured mermaid bottom sway with each step. Overall good but the tied straps over my shoulders were awkward and sat inconsistently over my arms/shoulders. Styled with a harness! 

This fit perfectly, I wore a strapless non push-up bra with it to make sure the boobs were in place but it wasn’t necessary. I received so many compliments and felt super comfortable dancing all night. Tip #1 make sure to check the slip is all adjusted after using the restroom. I had to readjust my slip every time. Also the straps do slip often but the dress never falls

I wore this to a January wedding in the Berkshires, paired with black heels and a giant furry black coat (also rented). It definitely felt glamorous and I loved it! Great for petite girls too!
