Teal Sunshine Day Gown

This dress is amazing. I actually bought it from RTR (it was 90 percent off, score) and I'm so glad it's mine because it's so much fun to wear. It fits very well in the top and doesn't slide down, I didn't have to keep picking it up all night. I absolutely love the length and the material. All in all, would recommend!

So I wore this to an outdoor summer wedding in California, while everyone else was tugging at their strapless bras and shareware, I was enjoying the freedom and comfort of this dress. It has a built in bra that was very supportive and breathes better than other strapless bras, so minimal under boob sweat. It is very fitted up top, the skirt is roomy and it has POCKETS!!! Large pockets at that, held my IPhone 6s+ securely while I danced. The fabric is sturdy, the dress is well constructed.

This dress was perfect for a spring wedding — it fit well, made me feel sexy *and* comfortable (although not too sexy, nor too comfortable!), and received compliment after compliment. I could go on and on about it, but I suggest you rent it and let it speak for itself.

Though it was a bit snug, I rocked the dress all afternoon into the wee hours of the night and I have an admitted very wide back and I was happy for the snug fit with the strapless factor. I'd buy this if I could

Loved this dress. Wore it to Opening Gala of The Pan Am Museum at The Cradle of Aviation Museum. So well constructed, didn't have to pull it up all night. I am between sizes 8-10, depending on the dress. This is cut a bit small, but ample rom for the not-flat-chested. Loved this dress. Perfect Pan Am Blue!

I wore this dress as a Cinderella costume for Halloween, but I would recommend it for any formal event. The color is absolutely stunning - I received compliments all night. It's really comfortable, and pockets!

I wore this dress to a Sunday morning wedding for which I was having trouble deciding what to wear. This dress was perfect because it had a great color, had a sturdy fabric and was tailored enough to wear to a really fancy hotel, but with the color and hemline it was casual enough for Sunday morning. This was not my first choice, but after trying on the first choice, this was the best option. I loved the fit and the color. I received a ton of compliments based on the color and the fit. This dress is also really fun to wear. With the longer hemline, and structured fabric you can easily move around, dance etc. and it holds up it's shape. I never felt like I had to stand or sit a certain way. Specifics: The fabric is nice and sturdy, so no shaping garments, necessary. The color is awesome. I am short (5'3") and was wearing a 16, so I used temporary hemming tape to turn up the hem in the front so that it was above-knee like the photo on the website. Because of the uneven hemline it was really easy to do that quick modification without it being obvious. I could have gone without a bra, as it was sturdy enough to stay up. However, it was a bit tight on me in the chest and flattened me out a bit (I'm a 38-D, which you really can't tell from the photo) so I wore a strapless bra to add some shape back.

Wore this to a wedding, and it was perfect! The color and high low hem really helped it to stand out. The built in bra was enough for me not to need to wear a bra, which was amazing! Would rent this one again. It had a small tear at the back, but it wasn't enough to keep me from wearing (and loving) it.

I rented this for a fundraiser with a "cocktail attire" dress code. The dress fits true to size. You'll feel like a mix between a princess and a party girl :)

I usually have to get a 2 with dresses like this for the fit up top and this was actually quite fitted. Everything fit me really well overall though and I had no troubles keeping it up. Tons of compliments all night!

No cons...I loved it!

This dress was definitely true to size - it fit so perfectly that I could even hook the inside corset and zip it up without any assistance. The color is stunning and the cut is VERY flattering for an athletic/hourglass shape. The top portion of the dress is structured and, unlike some strapless dresses with weight (the fabric is NOT light and flowey), I never once felt the need to adjust/pull it up. I wore it to an evening cocktail/formal wedding at an aquarium and received compliment after compliment from other guests, event staff and complete strangers all night about the dress. It made me feel extremely confident and honestly, I wish I didn't have to return it!! It's a TRULY amazing dress and if you are considering renting it, DO IT!

I wore this to a traditional Hindu wedding, where I knew I was going to be surrounded by women wearing lovely, colorful, "blinged-out" saris and I didn't want to blend into the background. This dress fit the bill exactly. The color, fabric and texture were substantial and gorgeous. I received so many compliments and felt like a million bucks all night. Bodice was tight and did not stretch, but was not uncomfortable at all. Hugely recommend this one, ladies, you won't regret it!

Loved this dress! I had many compliments on it all night. The pockets were amazing and big enough to where I did not need to carry a purse. Did not need a bra as there is one built in. Dress ran very small. I am always a size 6 but got the size 8 as my second choice and the 8 fit perfectly. The dress did come a day late which was inconvenient due to the out of town wedding I was attending.

Wore this dress for my bday lunch which turned into a fashion week party which I crashed and totally fit in with this dress. The top is tight with a built in bra/corset but the skirt is forgiving. I'm on the short side so you will need high heels not to drag the back of this dress and it is heavy for summer weather but beautiful!

The dress is so perfect for so many reasons! The fit is perfect (I'm a size 4 and 5'8"), the color is beautiful and vibrant (the blue is brighter in real life than in my picture), and the shape is super flattering. This was actually a backup dress that I picked up from the store in Chicago because my original dress didn't work out. I'm so glad my first choice didn't work out because I love this dress! The entire RTR experience was very easy and positive, I definitely plan to rent again in the future.

This was my first RTR experience. I cannot wait for my next one. The built in bra provided excellent support. The color was perfect for the August evening wedding. Fit was perfect. The pockets were a pleasant surprise. Definitely worth a rental.

This dress was actually a last minute replacement when the dress I ordered came with a rip in it. Thanks to the girls in the Chicago store who helped me scour the place for a replacement! It was definitely comfortable, I love the pockets, and above all for someone as busty as me (34DDD), I felt secure in the dress. I did not have to spend the night tugging on the dress because it of it falling down or sagging. It stayed put- a miracle! Also at 5'10" I usually have to worry about the length on things, but this dress fell at a good spot, not too short in the front. I got so many compliments on this dress and the material had enough weight to it that I did not have to worry about it flying all over the place in the Chicago wind. Definitely glad I wore this!

This pic is me just trying it on... Looks much more elegant with hair, earrings, and shoes :) it was v comfortable once zipped up, but had to hold by breathe to do so! Once on though it felt good. Stayed up no problem and didnt create any armpit fat (which I usually have and hate with strapless dresses). Pockets! A definite hit :)

I wore this to a wedding and loved it. I WAS very hot but the wedding was in Greece so that was poor judgement on my end. Flattering and comfortable!

I wore this dress to a very formal gala event. It was beautiful and fit like a glove. I received compliments all night and over 200 FB likes when I posted this picture. The dress runs very true to size. No bra needed ( there is built in support). I am short, but the cut being short in front and long in the back worked well for me. Monique has yet to fail me!

This strapless dress fit like a dream, I didn't want to take it off. The color is fun, the detailed fabric is gorgeous! So many compliments received :) great fitting around the chest so no bra is needed - would absolutely recommend this dress!

I rented this for my 12 yr old - she was the belle of the ball. She is 5" with an athletic frame - the high low was amazing on her! She asked if she could keep it....ha!

A beautiful teal dress by ML Monique Lhuillier! This dress runs true to size but we recommend sizing up for the back up as the fabric has no stretch. It is fitted at the natural waist and bust so we recommend the style for A to C cup sizes or if you have a smaller band size. There is a built in bodice for support so you are able to wear without a bra. Fuller skirt allows for comfortable room at hips. I love the convenient pockets and the high low look! At 5'10", the highest length of the dress hit right at my knees.

This was the perfect wedding rental! It was bright and feminine, but still conservative enough that I felt appropriate at a more conservative wedding. The pockets were deep enough that my phone stayed in while dancing around. I found it very comfortable and didn't want to have to send it back! Based on the reviews I considered sizing up to a 6 even though I am usually a 4, but I am so glad I stayed with the 4. When dresses are really fitted in the hips I will wear a 6, but this is just fitted in the band. I have a small band size but large bust (30ddd/32dd) and it fit great plus I didn't have to wear a bra. Loved it!!

To tell you I loved this dress is an understatement! The fit was perfect. Loved the pockets. Was dressy enough for my affair and comfortable to dance in. The color is even more stunning in person. The dress stood out and no one wore anything like it

I wore this to a black tie fundraiser and received so many compliments - on the fit, color (vibrant and bright), texture, and the pockets! I was able to keep cash and my phone in the dress pockets, and you couldn't tell they were there. I typically wear a 4 but it felt a bit restrictive, and since I love to eat and dance, the 6 gave me a little more room to wiggle and breathe. There is a built-in bra that secures you - I was worried about pulling a strapless dress up all night, but it stayed put perfectly. Love.

(Sorry for the powder room selfie!) I wore this to a wedding last weekend as a part of Unlimited plan.It was a spectacular vibrant turquoise color with a noticeably textured flower pattern. The dress was perfect for my pear shape! It is a little heavy of a fabric, but felt like a good quality material. There's an extra bra-like clasp in the back that was great security I was not going to pop out of this dress no matter how hard I danced. I wore my hair up, but regretted it as it looked a little prom/Audrey hepburn like. I paired with black heels as they looked the best vs nude. I'd definitely order this again (and in the multiple other it comes in.) Gorgeous!

I LOVED wearing this dress. It was a touch too big but the built in bra secured all the way helped a lot. I'm very busty, 36DDD in VS sizes. I felt secure, and comfortable. I wore tight shorts underneath so that helped with the wire boning. Received so many compliments. Another girl was wearing the same dress and we kept complimenting each other on having great taste. Overall it was wonderful! Highly recommend this dress! Note: I wore this dress in 16R. The gladiolus 16R was nowhere close to fitting. Be aware, same designer, 5 inch difference for the "same" size of two dresses very, very similar in style. *******Below is a RTR review. For the service of the company during this entire experience I give them ONE star only.****** This dress was my backup, my first choice was the Pink ML Galiolus, I ordered size 14R and 16R, neither fit, but what was puzzling was that the 16 and 14 fit exactly the same. The 16 wasn't at all bigger. I tried the size 14R at the RTR Chicago location, I needed a half an inch of room, the stylist assured me that the 16 would definitely fit, I've been losing weight so I ordered the 14 just in case. I've lost 10 lbs and one size in the one month since that fitting. After I tried the pink one of I called RTR, the girl wasn't very trusting of my feedback. I wanted to at least receive a full refund for the Gladiolus and then pay full price rental for the this teal dress (which was cheaper) Instead she refunded me $30 for backup rental. She was also very confused about how much I paid for each dress but wouldn't listen to me correcting her. She also kept saying that she's tried on all of these dresses and that a girl with boobs as big as mine should never order the gladiolus dress because it runs small, had I read the reviews I would know that. Never mind that I tried on the dress at the RTR store with a stylist!! I'm very disappointed with the service I received and her lack of trust in me or the fact that my rental was initiated by a RTR stylist at a physical location. I think the Gladiolus dress size 16 was mismarked or defective. I know that brand tags fall off and could have easily been sewn on the wrong dress. I didn't have time to call back to speak to someone else, I just wanted to get off the phone. Not sure if I will use RTR again after this experience. I wonder what would have happened if none of the dresses fit.

Beautiful heavy fabric with great raised flower texture. I am smaller chested, but the bodice has boning and it was quite supportive and quite tight- so tight, I couldn't take a deep breath, but it was fine.

The fuller skirt allows comfortable room for a curvier woman, and could even be a great bump-friendly option. There is built in support, so a bra is not necessary. At 5'8" the highest point hit right below my knee. Great option for a day to night event!

Loved this dress, I felt amazing while wearing it. I have a 36DD bust and it was slightly snug but not overwhelming. Definitely comfortable.

This dress was a replacement as the style I originally ordered wasn't available. It arrived with the tags still on! The fabric of this dress is rich and crisp and the color is beautiful. The asymmetrical skirt makes it just a little bit different and it has pockets! It was a little bit small in the bust for me and I wore a strapless bra, however the bodice has a built in bra and enough structure that a less chesty gal would probably be fine. Comfortable enough to dance the night away and the skirt had just enough poof. All in all, this was a great replacement.

Great fabric and color! The fitted boned bodice keeps dress in place and can be worn with or with out a strapless bra. The high lo cut its nice length on short girls too!

I rented this dress for a charity gala and as expected, most other women were in black. I loved standing out. I have a 4mo old baby so I'm struggling with baby weight in new areas. I found the size 14 to be tight around my waist and loose around my chest. I felt beautiful in this dress and loved the high-low hemline. I paired it with black and silver accessories.

This dress was great and fun to wear to a wedding. My only complaint is that the boning in the bodice came down pretty low on me and poked my stomach when I sat (unless I had perfect posture, which I adopted for the evening!). I think that's partially due to me being shorter and this not being a petite size. Otherwise, I really enjoyed wearing the dress and got lots of compliments on it. The pockets were an added bonus. It was my first time using Rent the Runway and overall it was a great experience.

This is my first RtR attempt and I was so incredibly pleased. The wedding I was attending was a formal daytime affair and I was nervous about being out of place. The boning in the bodice and built in bra made it possible for me to be comfortable without a bra. The gown was a perfect length and fit like a glove. The shape was very flattering on me and I'm self conscious of my mid-section. I received loads of compliments and my husband even offered to buy it for me. The color is darker than in the photo, but a still beautiful shade.

Top of the dress was very tight for a larger chest but overall got lots of compliments and danced the night away
