Only problem was that I had to wear the Long, b/c Regular (would have been perfect) ended up not available to ship. Even with my highest heels, I was catching/stepping on the edge a bit; but it was still gorgeous!

Really pretty and comfortable dress.  I am 5'2" and the length in the 4p was perfect.  You definitely could wear without a bra and the pockets were perfect for a lipstick and phone. 

Agree with all other reviews...runs very small in the rib cage. I am extremely small chested and I could not even get the four zipped. Unfortunately the six was pretty large in the chest but I had to go up in size to get it over my ribs. Pockets were great and overall a pretty comfortable fit for a gorgeous look.

Loved that it had pockets. Empire waist is comfortable and flattering. Back is gorgeous. I'm 5'4" and 6R was perfect length, 4R fit me but was a little short with my heels. Awkward to put on, zipper is difficult to pull up and neck line is awkward when sitting down. Would rent again.

Wore the dress for New Year's Eve party. It has high quality fabric that doesn't wrinkle. The sequins were not itchy and didn't catch my winter coat which was great. Pockets were very much appreciated, I could fit my 6s iPhone in it securely while dancing. The dress is very elegant and fitted without stretch. It was perhaps too fitted, which could be influenced by my height of 5"3, but the waist line was very tight on my ribcage and not comfortable after 3 hours of sitting, 

This gown was perfect for a formal wedding. Wore the regular length even though I'm 5'0 and it was the right length with heels. Loved the pockets. The beaded top was slightly big on me and a tad uncomfortable under the armpits but I didn't mind too much. Received complements all night. 

I absolutely adore this dress! It fit perfectly and really stood out in a sea of other black dresses. The pockets are perfect and I was able to keep my cell phone in there throughout the whole night. The fit was great - I wore 4 inch heels along with it and the dress didn't drag once. For sure rent this dress, you will absolutely love it. 

Got a 6 & 10 would have probably been perfect in the 8 as it was a little gappy under the arms in the 10 but fit perfectly length wise and was so perfect for the event. Not having to carry around a purse because I could use the pockets was awesome! Great structure. It's a little interesting to get into with the straps but once it's on it feels so comfortable.

I frantically, last minute rented this dress from RTR. I was pleasantly surprised at the perfect fit! I am 5'1 and 130 lbs. Nothing ever fits me without an alteration or two! I received lots of complements and would absolutely  "Rent the Runway" again!

I wore this dress to a black tie gala fundraiser and it was absolutely perfect. The sequins made the dress stand out and the back of the dress was very elegant. I didn't have to wear a bra with this dress and was very comfortable in it the whole night. One thing to note, however was that the previous reviews are correct when saying that the zipper is nearly impossible to get up! It too several tries and two sets of hands to get it zipped up but it was a small price to pay.

I loved this dress! It was figure flattering and I got a lot of compliments. The beading is beautiful as well! It definitely is a little snug in the rib cage getting it zipped up. Sometimes I can wear a 4, but the 4 was way to tight. The length was a little long, but they didn't have the 6P available. It was fine with some 3.5" heels and I'm only 5'1". I definitely recommend!

Dress fit perfectly! My daughter wore this to Prom with flats and the length was just right for her 5'5" long legged frame. 

This dress was so much fun to wear to a winter work gala! It came with pockets so it was easy to carry what I needed all night. Tip for anyone thinking about this dress: it is hard to get into because of the straps in the back so I had to get into my dress first thing and wear it to my hair appointment so I couldn't take it off until after the event; that was the only downfall but otherwise this dress is amazing! I received many compliments and felt great! 

Wore this dress for a Mardi Gras ball! Perfect dress for an unforgettable night! Had many comments on this dress! True to size! 

This dress fit great and was very comfortable. I am 5'5 and was able to wear a slight heel and the length was good. I got many compliments! 

I have rented three different gowns over the past year, and this one is BY FAR my favorite!
I wore the 4 Long, and I am 5'7"- my shoes had a medium heel. I didn't have to tape or pin anything.  The zipper worked very easily, and the sequins were in good condition. 
If you are busty, this dress may not work well for you. 
Fabric flows nicely, and did I mention the pockets rocked!?

This was actually my 2nd choice but it fit great! It's a little difficult to get one because of the criss-cross back.  I wore the 4R because the petite wasn't available.  It was still a little long even with 4" heels (I'm only 5' tall) but it was ok - just had to pick it up when I walked.  I received lots of compliments. Great dress! 

Fit to size. Can't wear a bra with the way the back is, which could be a problem for some people. No issue for me. Would rent again. 

Wore this to a formal affair of 400+ people and got dozens of compliments throughout the night. Among plenty of beautiful, well-dressed women, I felt I stood out in this dress. It was elegant and luxe and so tasteful. I wore a 2L, my typical size, and the fit around the ribcage was perfect without a bra, though it might be a struggle for a larger bust (I'm 32C). I wore the dress with flat, pointy-toed patent black shoes, and it just touched the floor (I'm 5'9"). Would also recommend with hair up, or partially up, since the back design is a showstopper. I fell in love with the dress and am a little sad to return it! 

The dress was comfortable and fit well. The zipper was a little hard to get up. The pockets were a huge perk and the length was great too.

I am usually between a 4 and 6. The 4L fit perfect. I loved this dress! 

Overall I think this is a cute dress. I tried both the 2 and 4 and I could not get the 2 zipped up past the waist. The 4 fit more comfortably but still felt quite tight around the waist and definitely wouldn't have been comfortable for me all night. That being said I think it's a fun dress and I loved the back detail.

As others have stated, the zipper is almost impossible! Like, it required two EXTRA people to zip me into this! But, other than that, the dress was amazing! Very flattering fit, and the pockets were helpful! The dress was not wrinkled at all upon arrival, and didn't require any special prep. It photographed well! The length was good, and I was able to wear heels, even though I am 5'10". Definitely recommend!

I loved this dress! Very classy with a fun back detail. The dress fit true to size. I'm 5'8" and wore a regular, I wish I would have ordered a long because the dress wasn't quite as long as I would have liked. However, it was raining the night of our event, so it worked out for the better that I didn't have a dress that was touching the ground. 

It fit great, perfect length for being 5'11" and could wear flats still. Neck got a little tight, but not a big deal.  

Rented this for a black tie NYE wedding and received many compliments. It for well although I did have to pin the cross in the back or else it was bulky around my bust. 

This dress was absolutely perfect for the black-tie anniversary gala I attended in 2017.  The full skirt is still lightweight (not a lot of lining), so it was perfect for September.  The front is also conservative with the high neck, but the sparkle and the back makes it exciting!  I'm normally a 6, but I opted for the 8 because of the high neck.  On the smaller size, the neck came up very high and felt as though it was choking me.  But the 8 was very comfortable!  I would recommend this dress, and would absolutely rent again!

Loved the pockets, and the length of the dress, no real need for high heels.  It's my second time renting, and I will do it again!

I ordered this dress for my daughter's school gala and it was perfect! The 8L fit me like a glove and the length was great with my heels (3").  The dress was extremely comfortable as I walked, sat and danced in it all night. The biggest perk was the pockets! I didn't need to bring a purse which was awesome, and who doesn't love a dress with pockets?! I would order this dress again in a heartbeat! 

I'm 5'7 135lbs and 34B.  Pros: very comfortable, deep pockets, perfect length for 3" heals, and I loved the open back! Cons: That zipper is rediculous. I ordered a 4L (my usual size) and would have fit but i couldnt get the zipper up. The 6L had too much room in the bust so I had to use body tape to fix the gaping and keep the back Crisscross in place. It was perfect for a Black and White Ball! It was a large event and the dress stood out. I recieved many compliments from other guests! 

Ordered for a upcoming event, glad I am planning ahead....Returned this dress in a 2R will definitely be getting a 0R. Somewhat concerned due to the fact that the one I received today had several patches of missing sequins, one area being front neck line. Crossing my fingers the next one will be perfect!!!!
