I’m 5’3” 140 lbs and took the 4R. The 2R was super tight in the chest so as a small chested lady I’d say this runs a bit small in that area. Overall this dress was sophisticated but fun. I’d wear it again if I had a similar event!

The sizing was perfect for the waist, top, etc. (I usually am a size 2 or small but this 4 fit well!) The only thing is if you're tall definitely get the long. I am 5' 6" and luckily I had short 2" heels with this dress because as you can see you did see my feet a little. The dress seemed to hang slightly lower in the back so it basically brushed the ground, but the front was slightly shorter. The size 2 was WAY too short for me but the top fit relatively similar to the 4. The pockets were a definite bonus and the dress itself was super comfortable. I received so many compliments!

This dress was great for me to work a formal gala without being flashier than the guests! It's perfect if you're not sure what to wear to a black tie event and don't want to stick out like a sore thumb bu being over-dressed or under-dressed. Pockets were awesome. Neckline was flattering. I am 5'1 and wore size 0P and only wore a 1 inch heel and didn't feel like I was tripping over the dress at all. Perfect length!I especially loved the back of this dress. It was a fun, flattering detail on an otherwise pretty plain/subtle dress. It was the perfect amount of "sexy" for a work event.

This dress was great! It was sooo pretty and I received a lot of compliments! The dress was also very comfortable. 

I rented this gown for a black tie gala. I received so many compliments on the dress. The dress has a sexy but classy criss cross back but the top provides enough structure and support to go braless. 

Fits very true to size - I’m 5’2” and it fell just to the floor once I put my heels on. Very comfortable as we danced the night away!

The dress for me perfect!! The length was great with heels. Loved the pockets. The dress was so well made! 

The 4R fit a little better, but was hard to zip so I ended up wearing the 6R which was fine! I have a bit of a larger ribcage so it worked out! Also maybe why the 4 was hard to zip. I wore a small heel with the dress (maybe 1 inch) and it was perfect. Overall received many compliments. I think this dress was perfect for a formal wedding! It's not too showy, but perfectly classy! Oh! and loved the pockets! 

I have only great things to say about this dress!  It fit perfectly, was ideal length with 2" heels, and of course had pockets!  Simple and classy; I received dozens of compliments.  It is a little tricky to get on without messing up an updo, but totally doable with help. 

Rented this dress for a friend’s wedding and it was a big hit. It’s classy and just beautiful. I rented the dress in both sizes 2 and 4, and ended up wearing size 2 which was still pretty loose on my waist and chest area. Overall I loved this dress and the part are the pockets! So fun. 

This dress was about 5 inches too short!! I wore it anyways with my feet coming out for a funky black tie. Would not suggest for a very traditional party. 

This dress was pretty and easy to wear once it was on! The back is a beautiful, elegant open back for a formal occasion and I loved the pockets. I had to use a larger than normal size mostly due to the beading on torso/over rib cage and this made the top a little looser but not noticeable issue when wearing. I was also a little surprised that length was shorter even with 4R since I'm only 5'3 but I ended up wearing a shorter wedge heel and it was nice to not have to worry about the dress dragging. 

2R fit perfect! I am 5'4, 115lbs. Was worried the dress would be too long but the length was just right with a 2" heel. Received many compliments on this fabulous dress! Can't wait to do this again!

Dress fit perfectly and I got compliments all night. The dress had pockets too which is amazing! 

The fit was perfect, gorgeous and stunning!  I have no cons and all pros!  It hit just before the floor and I was extremely comfortable in it all night long! This dress receives all the compliments!

This dress was very elegant and the length was perfect. I'm 5'2" and i wore the 2P. It was tighter around the waist than I would've liked but it wasn't uncomfortable especially wearing it from 5 pm to 1:00 am. It did have a weird odor when I took it out of the bag for the first time. Almost like it was musty but I let it air out for a few days before my event and the odor subsided. I received many compliments on the dress. BTW... this was my backup dress for my order. 

This dress fit me like a glove.  I have a pear-shaped, athletic body so I always shoot for a fit-and-flare dress  and this fit me perfectly. It was comfortable for dancing even after a big dinner, and the pockets were a big bonus! This is a dress I would wear again if I had a reason to, I absolutely loved it. I'm 5'5", 145lbs, I wear a 8 usually. 

I absolutely loved this gown. I wore it to a Gala in NYC. Absolutely elegant & beautiful! 

Couldn't have loved this dress any more. It was comfortable & elegant. The pockets were a godsend; it was like having the space of three little clutches. The zipper was a bit sticky, but I was able to get it up on my own. Compliments all night!

This was the perfect dress for a black tie wedding I attended in Long Island in January. The fit was fabulous and there were pockets which made carrying my ID and lip gloss simple. With the low back, I decided to wear without a bra. There was enough coverage/support. Others commented on the zipper being difficult, but I didn't have any issues. This was a great dress, and I would rent again!

It fit a little on the small side, but fit none-the-less. Couldn't wear a bra but I'm small anyway so didn't really matter. Loved the gown!!!

Fit a bit loose in the chest, also, if wearing heels higer than 2" I would get the long of your size, otherwise it'll come up a bit too high. Other than that.... great! 

- Attended a Gala in DC and felt totally comfortable and in my element all night long
- Had a hard time with the zipper at first but it was just a snag
- LOVED the Breakfast at Tiffany's look to it

Beautiful dress. Felt that the 4P was harder to zip up than the 2R so went with the 2R. Very comfortable. Has pockets. Im 5'0 and the 4P and 2R both fit length-wise perfectly with 3" heels. Perfect for a gala. Would rent again. 

I loved this dress and recieved so many compliments. Its classic and elegant. I am typically a 4 dress, but i wore the 6. Also im 5'8" and the Long was peefect for three inch heels. Be careful if youre 5'"10 and wearing heels because it will probably be too short. Great material for colded months as it was a little thicker. Overall I am obsessed with this dress and felt so elegant the entire night! 

I absolutly loved this gown.  I had gained about 12 pounds between the time I rented and the time I wore it.  The size 6L fit great in the bust, but was a bit tight where the zipper met the jewels.  I received a lot of compliments on the dress and would definitely wear this again.

Im in love with this dress. Received so many compliments and felt so comfortable all night. im 5'9" and in 3 inch heels the long was still an inch or so too short for me, bt it wasnt noticeable. The back is amazing and dont even get me started on the pockets. Im OBSESSED with the pockets. I cant get over how comfortable I was all night. No readjusting or shofting in any way. The zipper is a little tricky when yoh get to the belt area. I couldnt get it by myself so I was happy to have someone there to zip me in! I would rent this dress a thousand more times. I loved it so much!!

I wore this dress to my son’s black tie wedding! It was very flattering and true to fit. I received many compliments! Issues with dress: the material was like graduation gown, chiffon slip was longer than the dress, and zipper got stuck. The long slip was a source for tripping. I thought it was noticeable. My husband put a little wd40 on the zipper and I was able to zip it up.

This dress is comfortable while being a very classy dress. My usual dress size for an A line style dress is a 4 or 6 this 6L fit perfect.

Fit was perfect for a petite body. I wore 3 in heels and the length was just right. The cut and flow of the dress made this dress feel like it was specifically tailored for me! I love the back cross detailing. Its a very simple but glamourous dress! A traditional princess, A line, dress. I will be a forever RTR customer from now on.

Fits perfectly to size. Zipper had some difficulties, so have a friend to help!

Loved wearing this dress! Only complaint is that it's a little big. Even in my 4" heels I was still occasionally tripping over the fabric (I'm 5'4"). It is also a little too wide in the bust (I'm 32B). Backup size should definitely be a size smaller.

I normally wear a 0 or a 2. In this dress I took a 0. I feel it fit true to size. Ive rented many times before, and I must say this was my least favorite. I feel like it wasnt as flattering as ones ive rented in the past. It wasnt unflattering, but not a favorite. Still got compliments and LOVED the back.
