I had ordered a gown that just didn't work for a formal wedding in NYC, so I had to run to the flagship store and pick another. This one was just gorgeous. You have to put it on. It really felt like I was in a fairy tale :) I almost wish this would have been my actual wedding dress for my own wedding. It's incredibly flattering. 

I had been waiting to order this dress for quite some time so when a bride asked for us to wear rose hues this worked out well. I ordered up a size and got the long fit per guidance; I still found the top to be quite tight and was irritated that the white lining of the top kept popping up. Not a perfect fit but the dress was still super beautiful. 

 It ran small and I needed help zipping it up. For me it was tight in the bust. 

The fit was great, pretty true to size, needed help zipping but once I was in it was so comfortable! It was the perfect maid of honor dress, I felt SO pretty in it! I never wanted to take it off, it was great for dancing, and helping my best friend throughout the day.  LOVE this dress.

I might could have worn the 0 because I had plenty of room but I didn't not receive the back up size. I think maybe I misunderstood because I thought it would also be delivered with my original order. I am 5'3 around 112. I wore the 2 long so it would be flowy and to the floor with my heels. Very pretty antique looking pink with lace under the layers at the bottom. Was very pleased with the order. 

In a huge ball room full of Navy sailors, this dress was perfect! Many dates were wearing red and blue dresses so this soft blush really made me stand out and I didn't run across a single other person with anything close to this dress. The mermaid style hugged me in all the right places but kept it classy enough for a military affair. I did wear flats with this dress and the 8R the dress was a tiny bit long which hid my feet completely so it was perfect. Only complaint was that all the dresses I tried on for size at Macy's had me at a 6, but the 8R was actually my backup from RTR and it almost didn't zip because it was very small in the chest area which made the evening slightly uncomfortable.

This dress is so beautiful and unique. It's also comfortable! I wore it to a charity gala. I received compliments all night long and felt amazing in it!!!  I highly recommend this dress. 

I wore the bigger size, so I think it runs small. The dress is absolutely stunning! I had no problem dancing in it and received tons of compliments. Definitely a winner & photographs well.

This dress was beautiful, and I had compliments all evening.  The 0 was a bit small in the rib cage/ bust, but the 2 was just too big so I wore the smaller size .  My only complaint is that both sizes were stained at the bottom.  It's a very long dress - a bit of a train, so no doubt it's regular wear and tear. It worked for what I needed but it would have bothered me if for a real formal affair.  I love RTR.  So easy!

I didn't need to wear a bra becauce the fabric is so strong and tight fitting. I felt comfortable all night and was told that the dress was "some Oscar shit"... ha!  Lots of women asked about it, too, and I recommended RTR~

It fit like a glove and was a lot of fun to feel like such a princess :) honestly I was congratulated three different times at two different bars- everyone thought I had just gotten married- haha! It's very fancy and you will feel like a princess, and also apparently could be used as a wedding gown!!

The dress was exquisite but was very tight, uncomfortable, and unflattering on me. I am somewhat tall and pear-shaped, and I felt the dress hugged me in all the wrong places. I tried the size up and that didn't seem to help.

This dress is gorgeous- I wore it for a black-tie wedding. I'm usually a 4 or 6 and fairly small chested but the bodice in the size 6 was pretty tight on my chest. I loved the color and how feminine the dress was!


Wow, this dress is amazing. It fit like a dream. I've been eyeing it since it came to RTR, so I was ecstatic to finally wear it. I wore the 12R with 3" heels. (My feet were dead, but it was worth it.) The dress had enough support, no bra needed. The one shoulder tulle part sagged a little, but not enough for it to be a con.

This dress definitely made me stand out among the other bridesmaids. The dress was very fitting and I would have worn a 12R but was very tight on my chest so decided to rent a size up.( thank goodness for the free back up dress) 

At first, I thought this dress had a lot going on, and I think many may have the same impression... but seeing it all put together made me realize how nice and elegant the dress really is. 

Color is really nice, and fits like a glove. 

My Husband and I visited Las Vegas, NV for my Birthday this year. We stayed from 6/15 to 6/20, with my birthday being 6/18. On 6/17 I surprised my Husband with a 6yr vow renewal! He was under the impression that we would be attending a Masquerade Ball. Our ceremony was streamed live to our Family and Friends back home in NC. I got some many compliments on this dress. The color and fit. The Tulle, Lace and chiffon gives you the feel of a big extravagant princess gown but without the bulk. The Color was a beautiful Blush color that matched perfectly with our chapel and my flowers. I ordered a 10R and was able to wear these gorgeous gold flat sandals. They had a slight wedge heel that allowed the dress to skim the ground as i walked, without the need to hold it up. The fit was perfect...very fitted at the bust(not recommended for busty women), very cinched waist and hip hugging. It has a slight fish tail in the back to add some drama. The dress photographed well and was easy to wear even after the ceremony was over. This gown was absolutely perfect for our day. I would definitely rent it again.!

It was snug on the top, I would've rather worn the 4r. The quality is amazing and is much more beautiful in person than the photo. It's beautiful!

The dress fit great! We got a 4R and a 6R due to the reviews about the smaller bust area.  The 4R fit the best, but was a little tight in the bust.  It still fit beautifully.  She is 5'7 and wore 4 inch heels and it was the perfect length.  

PROS: The sheer one shoulder top made a simple strapless dress feel extra special. I was concerned of how "rose petal" the dress would be since other RTR pictures looked closer to white, and I certainly didn't want to wear white to the wedding. I'm happy to say that that it was more pink than white. It photographed really well too. CONS: The bust was a little more snug than I would have liked. I needed assistance zipping it up. However, if I was to size up, it would have been too loose on my hips. This dress needed to fit snug or it would have looked really baggy. I guess I gave up a little comfort for the fit. The dress also arrived a little dingy at the bottom. I think the worst feature of the dress was the hidden corset. I liked that it cinched in your waist and you didn't have to wear a bra. However, the boning was starting to come out and it poked me a lot. I had to go into the bathroom several times to maneuver it back in.

Incredible fit, even for curvier hips. My boobs would not fit in my normal size so if your a D or larger, size up.  Make sure you wear 3" or higher heels if your under 5'6". 

I wore this to my boyfriend's prom and I just felt so stunning! I was worried the four wouldn't fit me cause it says it runs small but the 4R fit me perfectly, although it was a little long even when I wore heels. But nevertheless I danced the night away and felt like a princess! 

The strap on the inside was too tight so I had to keep that un done, otherwise the dress fit perfectly. I think the strap on the inside is to sinch your waist but I didn't need it lol 

The fit runs a little small which is to be expected with a designer gown. Not a lot of room up top so bigger busts will probably not work.  Length: I wore a long size and with a short 2 inch heel so the dress was touching the ground like I wanted. Also, the color is more pinkish than the RTR online image conveys and as soon as I took it out of the plastic bag it smelled a little funny but that went away after airing it out overnight. Overall the dress was beautiful and I got so many compliments! Enjoyed my first RTR experience!  

Wore this to my husbands military ball and it was beautiful, I received a lot of complements I had that old Hollywood feeling in this gown it was absolutely beautiful! 

I wore this for a recital and it was exactly what I was hoping for in color, fit, everything. (It's pinker than it shows up in the picture). I wore a strapless bra but didn't really need to because of the built-in half corset. I wore it with 3.75" heels and it was exactly the right length (I'm 5'8"), just skimming the floor. I couldn't sit down easily which wasn't a big deal because I was standing for the performance anyway, but I wouldn't want to wear it for something that might involve sitting. I normally wear a 6 and this dress wasn't available, but luckily the backup in size 8 fit exactly right. I love this dress!

Got many compliments on the dress. It was a little snuggle around my bust, but still gorgeous and comfortable. The length was perfect. The first style I ordered was R and it was too short, this was my second style which I actually liked even better than the first, and with the help of a stylist over the phone I was able to get the Long, which was the perfect length, and got it super quick since the wedding was the next day.


This dress is definitely very tight (I.e. runs small). It was a little difficult to sit down without having to rearrange it a little, but it's also incredibly nice to be able to move (or dance) without having to worry about looking less than lady-like. I got lots of compliments. It also photographs beautifully!

Wore it in a wedding where all the bridesmaid chose non matching long pink dresses, bride was very happy with my choice. Fits snug, I wore the 6 when I usually wear a 4 and am 5'5 so with 3 inch heels the length was perfect, easy to walk in.

Runs small. I would normally wear a 0/2, so I was worried I would be swimming in this, but it fit nicely. Maybe a tad looser than I would have ideally wanted, but it made for a more comfortable evening.

I received many compliments and overall was very pleased with the look of the gown. There are a lot of layers to the skirt part, and it was difficult to get on once my hair was done, so think about putting it on before finishing touches to your hair. 

Also, I had to wear very high heels and it was still dragging the floor.

Rented this for my boyfriend's med school ball. It's absolutely stunning and I got so many compliments all night. 

Like everyone says, the dress is very fitted through the bust/waist. I go straight up and down, so the dress was tight up top but a size too big in the hips. It did give me the illusion of curves, but the dress is definitely meant for more curvy women. Also, the bodice in the chest was very tight and dug into my waist at times, making it a little uncomfortable to dance. 

I rented the petite since it was the only length available for my date. I'm 5'5" and was able to wear 3 inch heels comfortably. The dress has 3 layers: silk, lace, tulle. The lace layer was shorter than the tulle so you could kind of see my shoes. But the tulle just swept the ground and didn't drag all night, so I think the length worked out. Overall, amazing rental! 

I was really nervous about fitting this dress. The only size they had available during the time I needed it was a 10R and I normally wear a 12R, so I was sure I wasn't going to fit it. 
I had a really hard time finding a MOH dress that I actually liked for my sister's wedding. I tried on a million other dresses before taking a risk and renting the Monique Lhuillier. I decided to rent a backup dress of a different style just in case, and when I called to add it to the order they added the backup dress for free!! 
When the dress arrived it was immaculate, looked brand new! Surprisingly, I fit into the dress just fine! I was over the moon in excitement. 
TIPS: 
I have a larger chest, and the dress is a bit tight in that area so I just skipped wearing a bra.
The only regret I had was not wearing shape wear (I was rushing and forgot). The dress naturally bunches up around the stomach area when you're walking, so shape wear would help with that. 
Also, I wore 6 inch heels, so the dress wouldn't drag on the floor (because I'm only 5'1)
Last thing, I would suggest bringing flats with you, because it's really easy to step on the back of the dress in your heels and tear the dress (thank goodness that didn't happen to me). 
I loved everything about this dress and was glad I didn't buy a MOH dress that would sit in my closet for years.

I rented the tall in a larger size and it was too long.  I'm right below 5'9" but because it was a bigger size it also was more drapey. I have a wide ribcage and it was snug there while being a little loose in the hips but I still thought it looked great. Also pink enough that it didn't look like you were wearing white. 

The fit was definitely true to size, it was little tricky to get on because of the top being very fitted but once I got it on it was perfect! One of the cons was the bottom of the dress getting stuck on my heel a few times because of the little holes in the bottom of the dress, but it was manageable! Overall great dress and perfect for a formal affair!

I was newly post partum, so I decided to size up for comfort.  It was beautiful and got tons of compliments.

I'm a 0 but only 2R was available. It was a pretty good fit. I wouldn't say it hugged my curves but looked elegant and was comfortable all night. I'd recommend it

Fit was great. The 6L fit just as I thought it would. I ended up wearing higher heels than I had intended. My 2.5" heels would have had the dress dragging all night. I ended up wearing platform heels about 4.5". The dress was very comfortable and I got tons of compliments about how I looked like Cinderella. The only cons were that my strapless bra would sometimes peek through in the front above the solid part of the dress. Luckily, the lighting was dark so no one could see it. Another great experience with RTR.

Awesome dress. Relieved compliments all night.  The dress is very pale pink, lighter than I thought it would be.  

This dress was absolutely stunning. It was a little short since I got it in a petite, so make sure to get a regular length if you're 5'5 or taller. Otherwise this dress is a win. I felt very glamorous, and received a ton of compliments throughout the night. RTR is definitely a site to use if you're looking for something unique. Not to mention the white strips that arrived with the dress.....perfect!
