This was my backup dress, and I loved it so much better than my first choice. It's comfortable and very flattering for all body types. I'm 5'3 and it fell just barely below the knee. Like bottom of the kneecap. The mock neck was pretty awkward. I wound up pinning in down inside the dress. It's very heavy, I definitely would NOT recommend this for any outdoor functions in spring or summer.

Really easy dress to wear. I wore it out to dinner with friends. Was a little concerned it would be too dressy so paired with black suede books. You could easily wear this to a more formal cocktail affair. Loved. Fit well 

Loved this dress. It fit great and was comfortable. It has a really pretty purple shimmery under layer that peeks through the lace. Way prettier in person than in pictures

I rented this dress on impulse because I wasn't 100% happy with the dress I bought for my daughter's bat mitzvah.  I'm so happy I did.  This dress was so fabulous for the event, it looked and felt great.  I de-emphasized my bust, which I loved since I'm top heavy.  It showed my figure, rather than a straight up and down sheath.  It was just enough to be special for the special day, but not too much.

I ordered this dress in a 16W as a hail mary, along with two other dresses in an 18W.  (I am between sizes) 
 Of the three, this is the one that both fit and was comfortable.  The dress was very figure-flattering on a (VERY) pear shape, had just the right amount of sparkle, and was supremely comfortable for a semi-formal type wedding.  It's a little thick (three layers of fabric), so may not be the best choice for an outdoor summer event, but was perfect with a scarf in an air-conditioned venue.  I think this has become my favorite rental and may be my new go-to for all things semi-formal.  

This dress was absolute perfection. Comfortable lace (no scratching your arms, skin, etc) and fit like a glove. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a dress on and have it fit as perfectly as this one did. Got several compliments and feel like this works for black tie or cocktail. Love love love. Would be happy to rent this again. Such a great first Rent The Runway experience! 

Beautiful dress!  Everyone loved the dress!  It fit perfectly and it made me feel like a diva.

Fit true size. I am 5'6" and it hit just below my knee. The dress is much prettier in person. Would definitely rent again. 

Didn't end up wearing this one but so pretty and fits like a glove. You can't see that there's a sparkly thread in the underneath layer...really pretty in person!

It felt extremely luxurious to wear. It was so comfortable and moved with me all night. I received many compliments and felt very confident in the dress. There is a nice structured bodice that kept me with an hourglass figure all night!

I got a lot of compliments on this dress - it looks 100% like its retail price.   Really nice black lace over a lavender/pinkish sparkly sheath.  The bust and waist are fitted, but more a-line through the hips, so very comfortable to wear.  You could wear a normal bra with this or no bra at all - the black lace on the back is open and so pretty, so I wore a low-back long line bra so you wouldn't see any straps.  The high neck is also very different.  I would rent it again!

I felt stunning and classy in this dress, which I wore to my work holiday party AND I loved so much I wore a gala the next night. I had to choose this dress last minte, since my other LBD dress was out of stock. I was nervous about the straight cut and mid-calf length, since I never look good in this style...BUT this dress had just a little curve which helped fit my pear-shape and the length is just below the knee for my short legs. I love  the thick floral lace and gold under layer! I wish I could keep this one! 

The fit was perfect, I could wear a normal bra which is always a win, the shimmer under the lace gave it a great look!

This dress was gorgeous and received many compliments all night. Very comfortable and true to size...if anything, rent a size down for your extra dress. It has just the right amount of sparkle, and the material is great. 

Felt a little loose in the neck and waist area but other than that it was great!

Wore this dress for a wedding. It is amazing! I will rent again. I did a size 12 as I am 20 weeks pregnant. It was great and comfortable.

I usually wear a 4 but I couldn't even zip it up. Ended up wearing the 6. Very forgiving material and overall a beautiful and elegant dress. I'm a 34E chest and this fit just fine. 

The length was perfect for my duties as a chaperone for the senior prom. I wear a size 38DDD bra and the bust line fitted perfectly. I would definitely recommend this dress for any semi formal occasion-:)

I wore this dress for my cousins wedding and received many compliments. 

The fit was great. The dress was a little longer than I thought but I neverrrr have that problem so I as ok with it. Loved the high neck. It was a little loose but again better than tight. Overall felt really comfortable and pretty all night.

I typically wear between a size 6 and a size 8 it just depends on the styles, fabric, etc. of the dress.  This dress in a size 6 fit perfectly.  It was comfortable and the details on it made it a great dress for the charity event I wore it to.  

This dress fit great! I normally can wear a 0 or a 2, I wore the 0 and it was perfect! I rented this dress for my first Moter/Son dance. It was perfect for an event like this!

This dress is made of a substantial fabric, and I found it very comfortable.  It fit true to size, and has a nice shaping to it.  The under layer is shiny and adds some interest to the black.  Had lots of fun wearing it...would rent again!

This was a last minute choice when I was told by the RTR stylist that my other choice  had been returned damaged and was not available. I loved the length! I'm 5'11" and usually dresses are too short on me. I loved the weight of this dress. It was a little heavier, but made it nice that I didn't need uncomfortable underthings. ;)  I liked the slight A-line of the skirt.  The back is definitely sexy, but in a subtle way. Very happy with this dress!

This dress is gorgeous! It's actually kind of thick and warm. The under layer has a gold shimmery design with the thick lace overlay. It is classic and a fantastic. Spin on the little black dress. Loved it. 

My arms are one of my better features and the cut on this dress was very flattering for just that - showing them off! The neck wasn't too tight or too loose, which I was afraid of so that was a delight. The dress is on the heavy side which was perfect for the -5° night I went out in in Chicago. My only complaint is that the rib area was a bit tight. Everywhere else fit a tiny loose (bust, belly and behind). I do have a wider back and ribcage and am very narrow in the hips, so that might be why. 

Absolutely loved this dress. It was beautiful and well made. The layer beneath the lace has a beautiful metallic pattern that shines through the lace and makes it extra luxe. 
It was a hit at the Christmas party. And it fit like a glove. Absolute perfection. My boyfriend LOVED it and didn't want me to return it!
RTR never disappoints. So many dresses I want to try out but I might rent this one again later! It was everything I wanted.

I can't even begin to describe all of the reasons I loved this dress.  From literally the zipper to the lace, it is amazing quality.  The fit is perfect and I was comfortable all night.  Would recommend it for any date night, party or black tie affair!

This dress is very pretty. I wore it for an evening wedding at a winery and got lots of compliments. I did add the belt to just break up the black a bit and to cinch the waist as it did run large on me. It was loose in the bust and the waist.  I probably could have worn a 12 as opposed to a 14. Overall I really liked this dress and it was perfect for the occasion. 

I wore this dress to a formal wedding, and I was very pleased with it. I would definitely rent it again. The fabric was a bit thicker than I anticipated, but that worked out well because it was a bit cold at the wedding. I also thought it made the dress look a bit more formal than I anticipated. The dress was very comfortable but was still form fitting.
