Tight in the chest,, which makes your waist look small : )

Although the material doesn't give, the tailoring of this dress fit my body perfectly. 

This dress is perfectly form-fitting and the detail is really what makes it so special. It would pair great with nude, brown, or black flats, or can be dressed up with a heel or pump. It's very flattering, but if you're contemplating between two sizes, pick the larger of the two. I had a VERRRYY hard time zipping up the back. :) 

Amazing fit throughout throughout! Professional fit and look, with high quality fabric and design. 

The neckline was right, not too low, and the length was conservative. The fabric is not stretchy, but is very well fitted.

This one doesn't look like much online and is AMAZING when you wear it.  The material is glorious in terms of fitting like a glove.  I'm usually a size 4 US.  The 44 fit me PERFECTLY, and yet I *think* it runs small as the 42 should have probably fit me.  I have an hourglass figure and am a 34D - this is a great dress for bigger cup sizes!  The length is fantastic for corporate events and is so different from the usual stuff everyone else is wearing.  It's a complete stand-out in the most professional, classy way!  I wore nude heels, but there's enough black in the dress where black would look absolutely lovely!  The dress is super busy, so I recommend very simple jewelry.

I LOVE Missoni, and this dress is flattering and gorgeous. Period.

This dress is so sophisticated, classy and beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite rentals ever. The neckline was a little wider than it appears on the model (for me), but I could still wear a normal bra with fashion tape to make sure the neckline didn't slip and reveal strap. 

I normally wear a size 2 in mall sizes (e.g., JCrew, Anthropologie), but for Missoni dresses size 44 fits like a glove.  I'd recommend sizing up one size for your first dress and size up 2 sizes for your backup. 


This is the most elegant dress I have ever worn...... It made my body look even better than it is. I recommend to skinny person who want to show that you have some curve, it definitely make your body look stunning! 

Wore this all day to work, to a film premiere and then out to a club after. I wanted something that would look like just what I happened to be wearing that day and I think it worked!

The dress is gorgeous and comfortable but the 44 just exactly fit. There's no give to it and I couldn't even try on the 42.

It runs a little long, so if you're short you might want to avoid unless mid-calf's what you're going for.

This dress was perfect for my important presentation! I felt confident and professional! I had read that the dress runs small, so I rented the 4 (42) and the 6 (44) instead of my usual 2 and 4. I'm glad I did! While I fit into the 4, the dress was too tight around my hips to be work-appropriate. The 6 was a little loose around my chest and waist, but not so much that it was an issue. The back is a little low-cut, so I paired the dress with a yellow jacket. The colors and patterns look so cool! In the end, my presentation went well, and I received a bunch of compliments on the dress. I might have to start saving money to purchase this lucky dress!

My husband REALLY liked this dress!  I wish the 42 had been available but that said, it is a very pretty dress.  Great fabric and excellent design.

The fit is beautiful.  It hugs but isn't too tight.  The waist detail makes this dress absolutely stunning.  I wore it for a work event and got so many compliments!

Loved wearing this dress and wish I could have kept it!  It was perfect for the day time fall event I attended.  I could also see it being worn to a wedding or a work event.  I would definitely recommend sizing up.  I am always a 4 or a 6 but couldn't get my hips in the 42.  I could get my hips in the 40 but I think it was because the zipper went further down in that one--kind of strange that the zipper lengths were different.  Thanks to RTR's amazing customer service, I was overnighted a 44 and was able to wear this gorgeous dress.  

I was so amazed by this Missoni! The dress was perfect for transitioning from summer to fall temperatures in the city and is truly flattering in both color and fit. I could wear this to work as well as early dinner dates out and was so impressed by the many compliments I received. I felt truly wonderful wearing this ensemble!

It looks somewhat dull in the model photo but this dress is brighter in color than the picture appears. I loved the dress but it was a bit too small for me and I couldn't zip it up. The area where the waist band is does not stretch so if you have a wide torso it's hard to squeeze in. I just wore a jacket over instead of zipping it all up because it was such a beautiful dress that I didn't want to just return without wearing. 

I wear a size 2 of almost all RTR dresses.  I read that this dress ran small, so I ordered a size 40 (2) and a size 42(4).  I couldn't even get the size 40 on, and the 42 was a major struggle just to zip up!  Waaay too tight and bunched up in a weird way in the back.  So I couldn't wear it.  Too bad - it's a beautiful dress.  Fortunately it was my back-up so I didn't end up wearing it.  I suggest ordering two sizes up.

This dress is beautiful but it runs extremely small.  I could have worn it but it was not comfortable especially in the waist and bust.  Would definitely rent again in a larger size. 

It's really cool in person. I didn't realize, however, that the top part was actually sheer. You have to ware something underneath. I didn't have a problem with the dress being too snug anywhere. My problem was my right shoulder kept crawling off to the side so you could really see my bra strap. I kept having pull the shoulder on. I was comfortable in it, but the shoulder was a problem.

Size up, size up, size up! This dress fit so small I couldn't fit into the 40... and I've only been a 0-2 on the 10+ RTR dresses I've worn, including others that supposedly ran quite small. Also, this dress is well-made but quite thin. Better for a very early fall event, not winter by any means. Shame, as the colors and pattern is absolutely gorgeous. Until next time, Moschino!

I've rented over a dozen dresses from RTR and have had a great experience with every single one...until this one.  I got two sizes, the 0 and 2 (38 and 40), and unfortunately neither fit. The 0 was way too small, and the 2 just a bit large.  When I held the two up to each other, there was at least a 3 inch difference as they lay flat, which translates to quite a significant difference in how each fit.  I'm typically a 0 - and every other 0 I've rented from RTR has fit.  I imagine if you're a size 2 the size 40 dress will fit fine.

Well made and fun pattern, however, so I was bummed I couldn't wear it.  Not a particularly formal dress, but seemed ideal for wearing to work and transitioning to a fun evening.

I was super bummed I did not get to wear this dress as it is stunning. I am 5-6", 120 lbs with measurements of 32.5", 26", 36". I rented size 42 and was not able to get the 44 as a backup because it was not available. Since I have an hour glass/ semi-pear shape, I was surprised that it fit in the hip/ butt area but not around my chest. The waistband had no give to it at all and the chest area was uncomfortably tight. I was barely able to zip the dress up, and if I ate a cracker I'm pretty sure I would have popped out... This dress is beautiful, but if you have curves, size up 2 dress sizes!!!

Unlike other Missoni dresses, the skirt if this dress has NO stretch.  I am a pretty true size 6 and I could not get the dress on...even over my shoulders.  It looked pretty...so sorry I couldn't wear it.

I rented this for work. I sized up (I am a 2 in just about any dress, but I chose the 42/4 based on other reviews. This turned out to be the correct choice, as it fit perfectly in the waist and hips (26" waist, 36" hips) and a smaller size would have been too tight. The bust fit well, although I think it was meant for a little larger bust as it tended to slip off of my shoulders and gaped a little when I leaned over - not good for leaning over patients! - I used some fashion tape to keep it in place and was comfortable wearing it to the office with and without a lab coat. The top portion is intricate, but unlined - my nude bra did not show through. The dominant colors are yellow, black, gold, and white. I paired it with black heels. I received many compliments on the "cute dress" and felt amazing wearing a $1000+ dress. Thanks, RTR!

The dress is absolutely beautiful but runs very small to size. I am 5'4" 120 lbs and could not fit into the 42, as it was too small and does not have much in way of stretch. It was disappointing but would not hesitate to try again in a larger size. 

The dress was very snug at the waist and bust.  I recommend ordering at least a size up.  

Lovely dress, but was too small-definitely size up.  I normally wear a 6, but could barely get this on and the zipper had no chance
