Was I worried this wouldn't zip?  Yes.  But did it zip?  Yes.  Thank god.  Because it looks great.  The fabric is notably sturdy, which I'm always worried about with a dress like this that's ripe for vacation wear.  Very flattering cut and pattern as well.  I personally didn't need a bra fyi as it holds you in.

This dress is very cute. I'm tall and it was just short enough. I think Milly always runs a little on the shorter side but this was just right. Looked cute with flats and jean jacket.

I wore this dress to a bridal shower and it was perfect! Great fit and material. I got lots of compliments! 

I rented this for a college graduation.  It fit very true to size - I have pretty broad shoulders and chest/rib cage but I was still able to comfortably wear the size 6. It was the perfect length for me even though I'm on the short side. The graduation was about an hour and a half away, so I was a little worried about the dress being super wrinkled after sitting in a car for that long, but it still looked good when we got there! I felt good in it, and even thought it's relatively fitted, I still felt good after drinking craft beer. It's a great summer dress!!

*Edited to add: the dress does look a little wrinkled in the picture, but that was after sitting outside in heat and humidity for a 2 hour graduation and then 1 hour lunch following - so for all that, I was pretty impressed with how it held up.

I rented this once already in the 10 and found it to be too short and tight, and I do a 10, sometimes even an 8, in dresses, that's why I say this dress runs small! The 12 fit perfect though. Cute and fun. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because you can tell the dress has been worn MANY times which shows in the fabric. 

Cute dress but runs short and small. Regardless it is cute and flattering. I wouldn't normally like fabric that is so tweedy but this is fun to try for a day or two!

Wore this to dinner on our cruise.  The fabric is actually a herringbone weave which makes it much more interesting.   It is not bright red....the weave makes it a muted red.  Solid rental. A bit short and a bit snug around the waist, in comparison to the top.  

Size up by one, and you're more than likely good. Easy to move around in, but my only complaint is that it might wrinkle a bit upon sitting! 

This dress was adorable. It was a canvas type material but very flattering with not much give. I have a thin waist and bigger legs and the fit was perfect. I wore it for a casual Friday at work! 

I absolutely loved this dress. The material is nice a thick - though not uncomfortable on a hot summer summer day. I am a pretty curvy girl but would recommend this dress for any shape, so flattering! I received two compliments from strangers on the street and endless from my coworkers. Would definitely rent again. The only con I would say is that it is borderline too short. 

This dress was plenty long on me at 5'9" and didn't ride up during the day. Thick material and no bra necessary. Great for a late summer day as the weather starts to cool! 

Wore to work with sneakers but would also work for a daytime BBQ or with heels to dress up. Material has no stretch so it's pretty tight. 

I rented  this for my first Chicago Cubs game… Would definitely rent it again, or buy it, with or without a game to attend!   Probably the most flattering dress I've ever rented:  The cut, the style, the fit were perfect for being outdoors… and the material was not overly heavy (so it didn't make a rooftop brunch, followed by a game, overheated).  A win for me (and ironically enough, the Cubs won too)!

I loved this dress- perfect for the 4th of July! Great thick material so I didn't need a bra. 

Fabric is not stretchy, but it's comfortable and beautiful! Works for a dressy-casual event or a fancy dinner! Would definitely rent again!

Unfortunately I didn't end up wearing this dress because I didn't find the fit to be flattering and it was too short. The material is canvas like and has no stretch. It's also bit warm for a summer dress. I found that this dress ran small and would recommend ordering a size up. 

I even had a random person ask to take a picture with me because she loved the dress so much! Adorable print - very flattering - super fun. I dressed it down with a baseball cap and plain wedges. Wore to a baseball game. This dress was just perfect! 

This dress was great ! Beautiful canvas like material that I wore during a long drive, exploring the city and at the beach. Only complaints about the dress is it was a little short and you have to wear a strapless or racerback bra with it 

This dress was comfy, cute, and perfect for a work event. However, I had issues with the zipper breaking and literally exposing my entire back. Zipper would NOT come loose. Thank God I had a cardigan on! It was a little tight around the rib cage, but not to a point where it deterred the comfort level. Would rent again, just unfortunate situation with the zipper. Once again, RTR's customer service is amazing.

It's cute! Material is pretty heavy for a summer dress. I normally wear a size 6 petite at places like Ann Taylor and Banana Republic. But here the 8 was almost too small. It was uncomfortably tight at the waist, and there is no stretch. Kind of wish I had ordered a 10.

I wore this dress for a Derby Party. I really liked the stripes on the dress because it reminded me of candy canes so I had red and white mints that I hot glued to my hat! It was super fun and I got a lot of compliments!

Loved this dress!  Comfortable and casual.  Perfect for vacation or work.  Fit true to size.  Slightly tight in the rib-cage but not enough to order up a size for me.  

I rented this for a spring vacation. The fabric isn't almost canvas-like and doesn't stretch much. It's very small for the size, it was tight and like a miniskirt! I would size up.

Rented this for a trip to Cuba ... wanted bright and fun sun friendly pieces. Fit the bill. 

Print: spot on and flattering. I love the way Milly dresses are cut in the arms- perfect me. I have rented 6 in Milly before and it was good, I was really debating between 6 and 8 here; glad I went with 6 because it was carribean and ok to be a little tighter and shorter but if more conservative event would have done 8. 


Wore no bra - mainly because my strapless ones are too padded but also because the thicker fabric and style of dress held it all in place. 

The zipper -  you can't get it alone! This invisible zipper was so tough. If I had not had my partner with me I would have only been able to get the zipper up partially- very stubborn over the parts where fabric changes. 

This dress fit true to size, was so comfortable, and was perfect for vacation dinner.  Loved it!  Many compliments.

The dress fits a lot better than it looks on me ...I took a really bad picture I have a bit of a pooch but it actually was really flattering when I wasn't hunched over trying to take a group selfie. The material is almost like a thicker linen feel and super cute.

I rented this dress for a weekend wine tour with Colleen friends. It was perfect for the occasion and easy to wear with a small heel! I would definitely rent again. 

A little short for taller girls (I'm 6 foot) and a little snug through the hips and butt ...so if you're curvy, I would recommend sizing up. The fabric is thick and doesn't stretch. I normally wear an 8 for Milly clothing, but I got a 10 and it was still a little snug (but totally wearable.) ...very classic New England summer feel! 

I wore this dress for my dress rehearsal, since our colors were red, white and blue. I wanted to be different than the average bride that wears a white dress. I LOVED this dress for our Newport, RI wedding weekend! I didn't want to give it back. I had dropped down to a 10 by my wedding date, but the 12 fit perfectly so I would say it runs a size small. 

This dress was perfect for my birthday dinner! It's a pretty thick fabric, so there's not much give, but it keeps its shape through the night. I love the cut of the dress. I'm pretty petite up top, but larger on the bottom, and the dress worked well for that combo. Love the muted red color, too!

Great cut. No need for Spanx. Perfect for a long day of wine tasting! 

I'm usually a size 2, sometimes a 4, and the 2 fit but was a little tight around the waist. Otherwise, this was a great dress. I wore it to a summer party and twice to work, once on its own and then layered with a white vest, and got lots of compliments. The fabric is interesting - a little thicker than I expected though not heavy, and nicely textured.

This dress fits like a glove! The sleeves are cut in a very flattering manner and the stripes are placed perfectly so you don't look wider than you are. The material is a beautiful linen cotton, so it breathed well in the hot weather. Highly recommend this dress!

I thought this was a cute dress for summer - it's a thick material but the style and pattern is definitely appropriate for spring and summer. Would be good for a nautical event or theme. My shoulders are a bit broad for my frame, so I don't think this style/cut is the most flattering but I still liked it! Relatively short. 

I wore this outfit on a vacation as we walked around a town. At least ten women stopped me to say how much they liked the dress. It was super comfortable, and as stated, the material is a little thick (not too hot though). I wear a 34G bra and there was enough room for the girls. The only caution I would give is - it fits best with a razor-back bra ... Not required, but the arm holes contour in just enough that your bra straps might be showing a bit of you don't wear a cross-cross back bra.

This dress was very comfortable and easy to wear. I usually wear a four but ordered a six to be sure it was comfortable and it was just a tad bit large. The best part of this dress was it's noticeable stripe pattern. Had so many compliments both home and abroad!  Just loved it!

I wore this to a brunch the day after a wedding. I loved the neckline (but did need to wear a strapless bra). It was thick enough that any type of underwear could be worn. My husband was a huge fan of the dress! It was very flattering and forgiving and I was glad to have rented it.
