Although this jacket ran small around the hips and I couldn't zip it up I kept it for 2 months LOL! It was perfect for the beginning of spring with a scarf & ive received many compliments on the fabric & quality. Paired with all my work clothes and wasn't too boxy it can be dressed up.
I will either buy or rent this again in a size up next time.

This coat is amazing, I can't say enough about how great it is! I got compliments every single time I wore it. It was such a breath of fresh air compared to all my black coats. It fits true to size, and is extremely comfortable. A home run, and one of my favorite RTR items ever!!

I rented this for an event during my bachelorette weekend in the fall in Philadelphia.  It looked great over a black leather peplum top and over a white buttondown.  The round neckline does not come up very high, so pair it with either a high necked blouse or a collared shirt - both will peek out nicely.  Note that the coat color is white, so it doesn't pair ideally with ivory or cream colored tops.  Unfortunately, RTR's version of this coat lacks the black feather trim on the bottom, which the retail version of this coat had.  Without the feathers it's still a nice coat, with 2 bands of tweed in contrasting colors, but it's not nearly as striking or edgy.  I still wore it, and liked it, but I won't rent it again.  Cons: 1) The zipper pull and zipper teeth are big, bright gold and plasticky, which is a little cheap-looking.  2) The top white portion of the coat is clean-looking, but plain.  As a result, this coat won't look very special in photos taken of just the shoulders up - you need a full body length photo to give the coat its due.

Super cute but 1. The version with the feathers is way cuter. 2. Dont rent this if you expect it to be able to actually zip. Its SO tight around the butt. 

Ver classy, high quality coat. It is cut a little straight, so I wore it open. Would rent again.

Loved the coat! I received lots of compliments from everyone at work. The dual zipper and lightweight material made it feel more like a cardigan or a longer blazer. It was more on the fashionable side rather than functional. Not heavy enough to wear as outerwear in the winter! 

Arm length was perfect on me-- a true rarity in coats and blazers. The coat has some weight to it, even though it has a slim silhouette, making it feel luxurious. The lining is soft and the details on the coat are gorgeous -- I got so many compliments! A perfect topper for a part dress or even an everyday outfit. LOVE IT!

Very classy and perfect for work. I couldn't zip it around the hips, but enjoyed wearing it anyways. Next time I'd get a 4 instead.

Great way to dress up a basic black work outfit for transition to an evening event. I received many compliments.

The weight or the material is very "workplace" and definitely not a flimsy "trend" piece.  It felt great worn to work and then to dinner - versatility is important with workplace clothing in my line of work.  I enjoyed this piece very much and received a number of compliments.

I got a ton of compliments on this jacket. No matter what you wear it with, it's going to stand out. The material is fantastic. The fit is a bit loose, but that's the cut. I would definitely rent it again. 

Wore this to work, dinner with friends, pretty much everywhere for a week. Received lots of compliments, and everyone thought I was wearing Chanel (though I do love Milly). 

This jacket was amazing.  I wore it with a plain black dress and booties to work.  Very popular with my co-workers.  It has a two-way gold zipper on the front that isn't even highlighted in the photo.  Would work well with black skinnies and a gray tee.  This is a really well constructed garment; feels great, looks fab, and wears well.

Runs slightly large but within the size parameters.  Love it this time of year!

This jacket was so elegant.  Got a lot of compliments.  It is a lighter weight jacket so not super warm.  If you have a butt its a little snug around that area when you zipper it up, but it also has a good amount of stretch in it so you can definitely still zipper, just something to consider.

Lined, made with great detail. I rented this for a trip to France, wore it on a rainy day, felt like a million bucks!

The fit was nice across the arms, was true to size.  and it looked great other than once it was zipped, it looked VERY boxy. So i just left open over a gray sweater dress and it looked nice

This coat is beautiful; I just didn't really have anywhere to wear it. Also, the sleeves were long on me (a common problem I have with outerwear). I'm between a 6 and an 8, I think a 6 would fit better. Would be great over a black dress for a wedding, or a dressy occasion when you need something warm to cover up in. I just didn't feel comfortable wearing it as an everyday piece. Plus, I found it hard to match to my clothes and shoes without looking too uptown lady who lunches (and I work on 5th Avenue in New York so I usually get pretty dressed up for work). 

Was good for work in that it looked professional and well-made but it was impossible to wear zipped up because the bottom was so narrow that I couldn't move my legs to walk.

I really liked the style of this jacket. The lining is really soft and the fabric feels thick and expensive. On fit, if you are pear shaped, I would get this in a size for your shoulders and wear it unzipped, otherwise it will look too big and probably still not zip around your hips.

The left side dragged due to the weight of the zipper. Otherwise, very cute for a spring jacket. Caution - I'm 5'11" so the sleeves were extra short on me. I wore an. 8 but probably would have been ok in the 6. 

This is really a beautiful coat but is more of a fitted coat-dress. Normal coats have room towards the bottom but this one is snug all of the way down. Also makes you look wide towards the bottom because of the horizontal stripes. I have a very petite frame so I wasn't used to looking wide there but I didn't mind terribly. If I was self conscious about my hips though I wouldn't like this cut.
