This dress is beautiful but was not for me. I'm very pear shaped and this really accentuated my curves to the maximum. The size 4 fit perfectly. The waist hit on my smallest part but then  it flaired out and made my hips look insanely large. Returning without wearing. Just not for my body type/me. If you love flaunting your curves then this is definitely the dress!

I wore this to work several times, and received boatloads of compliments on it each time. I love it!

Loved this Milly dress!! I'm usually wear dresses with color but this caught my attention while scrolling for a brunch dress. It was so cute in person! Love that "Milly" is written in the pattern of the dress. I wore a black bralette and it was perfect (regular bra could be worn too) but like other reviewers said sometimes you can see it on the side of the dress so I'm glad I wore a bralette that blended in. I'm 5'6" and also wore this to church on the same day. Very fun and flattering. 

I was sent this dress because the one I ordered was not returned on time and/or damaged by a previous renter. I would probably not have picked this dress out to rent, but am definitely glad it was sent to me!! I wore it on a dinner cruise with my husband's company. The dress fit very well- the 6 and 8 both fit, the 8 leaving enough room to eat dinner. It was a great length for a work event and I got tons of compliments. Comfortable to walk, sit and dance. I would definitely rent it again!! 

This dress was perfect for our 4 year wedding anniversary. It was the perfect length for me at just above the knee and it was very flowy at the skirt. The waist and sides were a bit snug. I especially loved the pattern because it hid my post baby bellt buldge. 
The only thing I want to add is that while this dress is super comfy it felt really worn in and the colors were a bit drab. I would wear again though.

Fit relatively true to size, I usually wear a 2 or 4 and a 4 fit well. There's a liner and the material of the dress itself isn't too thin. It's got a full circle skirt so it'll blow up a little in the breeze but the material is heavy enough that I'm not too worried. You'll need a racer back bra or something similar. 

This was my backup dress for a party, but I loved the way it fit so I planned a night out just so I could wear it. It was fitted in the chest, then flowy over the hips. Great length too- hit just above the knee. I've enjoyed renting Milly dresses in the past and this was no exception. 


Amazing fit. Perfect for polo. I fell in love with the dress. I wore it to work with flats and mini black cardigan. Would rent again. 

I rented this for a Kentucky derby day party, and I almost didn't wear it - went back and forth on it, ended up being cute! It's not as flattering as I was hoping and does run small, so make sure you get your size and one larger. It's a little long, I'm 5'3 and the waist hit me at a weird place. Overall, it was cute and comfortable and could be worn to a shower or something during the day. 

This was a dress sent as a replacement since my original order didn't make it in.

I didn't really like the pattern but figured I'd give it a try anyways. When I put it on, I immediately took it off. The elastic around the waist was not very forgiving and was a bit tight under my ribs. My little-more-to-love in the middle was very apparent and tapered into the dress, but with a lumpy/frumpy appearance. Because my hips are very wide, the sides bowed out exaggeratively, which I normally appreciate, but the synching of  my waist kind of ruined it.

PRO: The material was breathable, more cloth-like. I think I could have appreciated that during the dancing at the holiday party, but this rental just wasn't meant to be.

I rented this dress initially for a wedding ceremony, but had another dress I also rented for the same occasion so I ended up wearing this for a brunch.  Dressed it down a bit with boots and a black scarf but I still felt a little overdressed for the occasion.  This is a GREAT dress and fits really well.  If I have another occasion I would rent this dress again in a heart beat and wear with black heels.  Highly recommend!

This dress is awesome -- would be flattering on many body types, and I love how it's lined in case you are caught outside on a windy day like I was!  Only downside was that the area just below the belt is very tailored and fit a bit tightly -- I sized up for my backup and was glad I did since the larger size gave me more room to breathe. :) Very versatile dress that can be dressed up or down - I wore with tights and boots since it was rainy.

I rented this for an event that raises awareness for ovarian cancer so I paired this fun black & white dress with the teal beads (teal is the color for ovarian cancer).  I received many compliments on the dress. It needed a good pressing when I got it, but ran very TTS. Wore a racer back bra with it since the back cuts in. Very comfortable! Loved the pockets! Would rent again!

This dress fit so easily and looks super slimming. The material is thick, but stretchy, so it's very comfortable. The belted waist is really flattering and a nice contrast to the print. Wore this for a "black and white" wedding and got lots of compliments!

I love this dress! I held onto it for several weeks because I wanted to keep wearing it! Such a fun pattern and the structure of the dress is very flattering. The dress I rented had a hem out, but I still wore it. Because of the way the strap cut in you need to wear a strapless bra. 

I have heard of Rent the Runway FOREVER and have never tried it and I must say, I am sooooo happy I did. I am obsessed with their dresses, clothes and accessories. I signed up just this past week and have loved all the items I have received thus far. I signed up for their $139/month unlimited package where you get to choose 3 items and wear them as long as you want, and once you return 1, 2, or all 3 items, you get sent 3 more from you Hearts List. This was the first dress I decided to rent and I LOVE IT! From reading the reviews on the Rent the Runway website, I sized up one size as most ladies said this dress ran small...and it does. I am normally a size 2 in dresses and I sized up to a size 4 in this dress. I have a 32DD bust and am about 117 pounds. It was comfortable and the fabric had a little bit of stretch but not much. I didn't have an issue zipping the dress until I was home alone and had to tie a necklace to the back and zip it up. My boyfriend helped me zip it the first time around. Make sure you have someone around to zip you. I loved this dress and am actually considering buying it. I paired it with black flats and a light pink, black, and clear bauble necklace. This was definitely perfect for work but I can see being crazy and pairing yellow, turquoise, bright blue and red for a pop of color in the necklace or heels. This dress is a blank slate for so many colors! Highly recommend for work or for an evening wedding.

The dress material was a little heavier than I expected. The wedding was outdoors and it was 100 degrees so I was hoping for a little lighter. Great quality though! 

The size 8 fit well. It arrived wrinkled on the bottom....steam from the shower helped. Renting is the way for me now. I loved the ease of the process. Now I don't have a dress collecting dust in the closet! Plus no dry cleaning!

CON: SIZING. 
I usually fit Milly sizes well, but this was too tight in my stomach. At the end of a 12 hour work day I was rushing to take the dress off and free my stomach from its oppressive grip.

PRO: DESIGN
The dress is flattering, nice cut and the design is eye-catching but neutral-- you can pair it with red shoes, blue shoes, brown shoes, etc 

Got numerous compliments from people, everyone --except for my poor stomach -- was loving this dress.

Great dress for a summer wedding. Very flattering. Loved the cut. Wore a strapless bra. Comfortable and easy dress.

This was my first experience with RTR & I have to say, I'm super glad that I joined! This dress was as cute in real life as it was on the model (no offense to models, but we all know a brown burlap sack would look smashing on them, but like something that got smashed on an "actual human"). I'm 5'5" & 100lbs & normally wear a 0, so I ordered a 0 & it fit great, just a little snug in the torso. So, knowing I'd be eating & drinking all day, I ended up wearing the back up 2, and it was perfect (just slightly less snug, but still form fitting). 
I wore it for Steeplechase races, for a corporate event (so I had to be on my best behavior & dress the part, lest my friend disown me). I paired it with a big black & white hat & a few pops of color (a pink necklace & pink shoes as accent). After a while the wedges weren't cutting it on the grass, so I switched to black Chucks with pink accents (more my tomboyish funky style anyway) & got SO many compliments on the whole ensemble. All in all, I was sad to send the dress back. Perfect fit, with a little bit of age appropriate girlie flair but not overly so, and POCKETS!! 

This was my back-up dress for a rehearsal dinner. I loved my first choice, so I did not wear it, but wished I had another event to go to, so I could have. Dress fit very well and true to size-ish: I went up a size b/c of my bust. 

A very flattering silhouette and fun pattern, and the material was breathable during a summer wedding. 

I picked this dress for a November wedding at a country club in Virginia. I ordered a size 6 and 8. The 6 zipped but the 8 was better. I have a wider rib cage / waist and the tightest part of the dress was in fact around my waist (esp. the black sash, which is sewn as part of the dress). The bust of the dress had some room, but did not feel loose. I paired this with navy pumps and purse. Overall I felt the dress was slimming and I was very happy with my choice!

I'm a little chunky in my midsection - due to 2 babies and my new cravings for sweets - so it was a little tight.  But being a little tight, it helped the dress look very slimming.  I received MANY compliments on the dress AND my figure :)  

Fit was perfect in the chest and the length was just right. 

Really stood out in pictures. The place I picked out for my bday was dark. So I wanted a white dress. I sized up frighten by the reviews about how tight it was. I ordered a 6, 8. (normally I'm a 4, 6) I wouldn't of minded trying a 4. The black band under the boobs is where its tight, so going up a size, the waist got longer, and in an 8 maybe even tighter, as it hit me on a bigger spot my tum tum. I wore the 6 but even so, the top looked a little big (i'm more of a 4 on top). I'm not sure if the 4 would of fit my middle but wish I would of given in a try.  The dress it self is adorable. There is a little milly signature on it, but it is showing some wear, I tried steamed it a bit, which made the skirt look fluff up a bit. Overall it was perfect for my bday. But I'm glad I can return it, since the pattern is so bold...people would remember if I wore it again. Great rental. I wore silver jewelry, and wore both black flats and later heels. I thought both looked nice.

I'm usually an 8 and the 6 fit well except for a teensy bit loose in the bust area (not noticeable). Full skirt allowed for a comfortable fit for wider hips (mine are 43"). Perfect for hourglass figures.

This dress makes you feel even thinner than you already are! The band around the midsection sucks you in and the shape of the dress is so flattering. I will definitely be re-renting this one!

I wore this dress to a less formal gala and it was perfect.  The material is really nice quality.  I received several compliments.  Not as big of a "WOW" dress as some of the Rent the Runway dresses, but perfect for my event.  I would rent it again.

personally I loved the fact it had pockets, made carrying little things easy! Great fit, would be hard to wear with a standard bra. 

I loved the movement of this dress! The skirt was flirty and felt breezy on a 90-degree evening night out. Beautiful pattern and very flattering fit overall. I wore it to an outdoor dinner but  would wear this to a wedding or daytime event as well. 

This was the absolute perfect dress for an equestrian event. It turned out to be a super hot and humid day. This dress was light and breezy but elegant and versatile. The dress was super comfortable and fit well. I honestly don't have any cons for this dress.
