This designer tends to run small in general but this dress is especially small in the waist, ribs and bust.  Not for anyone beyond a B, and I would still recommend sizing up! I went up one size and it was the PERFECT fit.  The fabric was this amazing pattern and the colors were much more vivid in person.

I wore this for my college's formals and absolutely loved it. Because the sizes are UK and the reviews mentioned that it ran small, I went 2 sizes up. It took a little shimmying to zip it up, but once everything was in place it looked and felt great. This dress photographs amazingly and feels so nice. If it weren't for the price I would totally get it again!

The overall fit of the dress was good, but the cups were sewn, which doesn't appeal to a variety of body types. I'm not that big in the chest, but it wasn't working. Also, the side zipper has a mind of its own, sticking up, pushing the fabric up the give the illusion that I'm wider. I didn't end up wearing it, luckily had RTR back-ups. 

This was sent as a backup for a replacement dress when my original order was damaged beyond repair. I had a bit of a 'worst-case' came true situation but RTR most definitely has amazing customer service. The colors and print are not my typical style but I had tried on other Matthew Williamson dresses at the salon so they sent this as a backup and everyone who saw it was in agreement that this is a gorgeous dress. Beautiful material. The fit I'd say is pretty much true to size (they sent me a size 6, I am a true 0 in US sizes) but definitely more on the snug side- there are built in cups (kinda weird but workable for a smaller chest) but there was NO way I was fitting my strapless underneath. Once it was on though I felt very comfortable. I could easily have worn this all night and felt both comfortable and glamorous. It would have been a great choice but I opted for the replacement dress in the end. 

I didnt end up wearing this dress because the weather ended up being cooler than planned. i wore another dress from RTR and loved both... it was a hard choice. i will def rent this dress again 

I also loved this dress, the boob area was a little tricky but I wore the nu sticky bra and that did the trick and was Ok for dancing.  I got the UK size 10 which fit perfectly- I'm usually a US 6.  Loved the fabric, pattern & colors!

This dress was amazing but like the fitting guide said, not meant for larger chested girls. Couldn't get the 14 zipped over my 34DD. Fabric was lovely.

I normally wear a size 4 dress.  After chatting with a fitting specialist and reading reviews, decided to order a size 6.  Well, even in the size 6 there was no getting it past my thighs.  A friend who is a size 0/2 was able to get the dress on perfectly.  I'd definitely size up in this one more than one size!  Beautiful dress though, wish it would have worked! :-)

I could not even get this dress on! Size up size up size up. Was bummed because I love this dress in the pictures.

This dress was gorgeous - I rented it as a back up style when the original dress I ordered became unavailable, but I didn't end up wearing it because there were a few problems with the fit for me. First of all, I usually wear a US 6 and the UK 10 fit perfectly for me besides the bust area. The cup size on the dress was unfortunately way too small. The bodice has actual cups built into it, and it ends up looking pretty awkward if your bust doesn't fit into them. There was also a bit of a problem with the zipper - it stuck out from under the fabric on the left side. On a positive note, the pattern and color of the dress is amazing - there so many rich details that you can only really appreciate from up close. I'd definitely recommend the dress if you have a smaller bust!

This dress was cute, but for $275 I think there are more quality dresses you can rent. The fabric was very thin and felt cheap to me, especially for a dress with a pretty expensive retail price. I rented the UK 8 which is a US 4, and it was waaay too small. I would have needed to wear the 10 or perhaps even the 12 to make it work. Be sure to size up on your backup. Not a winner for me:(

Dress was beautiful but I was not able to wear it because it was too small. I ordered it for my rehearsal dinner and I had to wear a dress I owned already because it was too small. I even had spoken to a stylist earlier in the week because my first choice dress became unavailable. I described my size to her and she assured me this would fit. Loved the dress and cant complain too much about sizes when I cant try them on but I WAS left without a dress from rent the runway that I could wear.

The dress is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, I couldn't wear it. I'm usually between a size 4 or 6 (depending on the brand), but have a fairly large bust. After reading the reviews and talking to a stylist, I ordered the size 6 (UK 10), but unfortunately, things just didn't work out. The dress itself was a little big in the waist area, but the bust area was a bit tight, and wouldn't fit my chest the way it should. I would have loved to have worn the dress, and even attempted to put safety pins in, but ultimately, didn't want to walk around worrying if my bust was going to pop out. I would recommend this dress for a someone with a tiny bust.
