I got the size 8 and absolutely should've gone with the 6 as I was practically swimming in it. While the body of the cape was quite oversized, I really couldn't snap the top closure because I felt like I was choking so I wore it open the entire time and froze. Then, I tried to belt it, but it was too big and didn't look right. I'd suggest sizing down a little bit. 

Fit as expected. It only has one clasp at the top so avoid wearing on chilly days because it doesn't really close completely. Also, avoid bags that go over your shoulder - the cape makes it awkward to carry over shoulder. 

I'm truly sad this piece is so expensive because it's amazing! It feels like butter, it wears so nicely. I got a million compliments and it makes you look expensive! I wore this at 32 weeks pregnant but would wear the same size even not expecting! Rent this piece you'll die over it!! 

I rented this glorious corporate super cape for work- we had a little holiday soirée planned and I wanted to contrast the ugly sweater vibe as much as possible.

Pros: so soft and luxurious; gorgeous cut and drape, loved the length

Cons: I am really grasping for straws here but the arm holes were low so when I layered a rain trench over this it rode up and was weird. BUT! without needing a coat over it is absolute perfection!

I felt like the chicest girl on the street. The feeling of the cape / vest / jacket evokes sophistication and casual luxury. Super easy to dress up a very basic outfit. I usually wear a 38 and sized down to a 36 for this. 

I was so excited that this coat finally became available, but I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would. First, be aware that it runs really big. I ordered 2 sizes down since that's all that was available, and it fit pretty well except that I had difficulty lifting my arm all the way up because of the drop shoulder cut of the sleeve (the sleeve opening is lower than usual). The material is beautiful but there was something off about the overall silhouette of the coat. The bottom of the coat angled outward and I felt like a giant triangle. It just wasn't as flattering as I hoped it would be. Maybe it would look better on someone taller. I'm 5'3" and wore 3 inch boots with it. It does have deep pockets, though, so that's nice. The only clasp is at the neckline, so don't plan on closing this coat all the way. Kept me adequately warm with two thin layers on a 50 degree day. 

I wanted to love this item and make it work - unfortunately, it was way too big and bulky. It was too long, too wide and too heavy. Not a great combo. 

Enjoyed this as a way to layer over basics. Depending on the temperature I wore it as a coat with sweater layers underneath. 

This fun piece took very simple outfits (Eg jeans and plain long sleeve top) from blah to fantastic. I live in a warmer weather city and wore in late fall / early winter since I didn't need a true coat yet, but still felt like I was dressing in season.

I was excited to have a cape piece for a dress that I planned on wearing. To elevate the style...it did not do that. It was big and hid a lot of my body making me look like I had a bag on. In addition the cape was way too long for my short frame. 

I wore an everyday cable knit sweater and skinny jeans with boots underneath and it transformed the look. I may rent again (or buy)!

Loved this piece. You can wear it with anything, dressy or casual. Great quality, camel goes with everything. I think ran a little oversized, but it's an oversized look. Would rent this one again maybe for keeps! 

This is the perfect vest for the fall and spring when its not quite warm enough for no jacket. I received so many compliments on this. It looked great with a denim top, skinny black pant, and camel bootie.

Easy to pair!  Adds a chic element to your outfit.  

So many compliments on this camel cape. Wore it to work with riding boots, leggings and a collared shirt. Definitely provides warmth for the winter. It's also bulky and heavy so keep this in mind!

I rented this thinking I'd wear it once or twice and have made it my everyday coat for a couple weeks now! It's so versatile and comfortable, works indoors and out (depending on weather), and I have gotten compliments every time I've worn it. A keeper!

It's a little impractical but I have gotten so many compliments and I love this coat.

Fit is amazing. I am 5'9" and it went below my knee - so definitely not for someone much shorter! It's gorgeous - very warm. Looks awesome layered.

I loved this cape, it was well tailored, and very chic. It definitely runs large and I could have sized down, its also warm! 

It's great looking but I'm 5'8" and even the 36 was just too overwhelming on me.  You need to be tall enough to carry this off!! Sad it didn't work. 

I loved this coat! I wore it twice - once to a charity event & again to work. It looks very upscale, classy, and expensive! Unfortunately, it doesn't translate well in photos. I'd recommend it anyway! 

It's oversized and has a beautiful camel color. It's also quite warm but runs a bit large. Maybe I should've gotten a S but the 38 was a bit long for me.

I know it's a cape... but this was so wide and unflattering in an unexpected way.

Was wayyy too big. Maybe I ordered the wrong size? Loved the weight, look and feel of the cape, but it was too large. 

This was so huge it was unwearable and I ordered my normal size.  I would recommend sizing down at least one size, probably two.

I'm 5'5" and this cape was very very long on me.  It would look beautiful on someone taller. I really loved the way it looked on the model and on the hanger, but everything was just a little too big. I may try it a size down. It made me look short and huge the size it was. The color was beautiful and the quality was amazing. 

too long. My profile showed 5 ft 3inches and it dragged on the ground when I tried on.
