My first RTR experience was great!

Do size down. I am a 16 with a 36DD bust. The 14 fit loosely, but worked with the mod style. I could have gone down another size if not for the bust. 

The dress color is beautiful in person and the fabric is rich and well crafted. It wasn't like any other dress at the party. 
I wouldn't call this a mini, it hit just above the knee for me with heels on. 

The size 14 fit perfectly through the body but the sleeves were about 2" too long and the dress was about 6" too long.  It hit at the upper calf and was supposed to be a mini. 

I normally wear a 16-18 and ordered this dress in an 18 and 20 because that's basically the norm when I order dresses. Both sizes were enormous and the dress did not seem like a "mini" at all. In fact, there are other dresses available that are not labeled as "mini" but are a few inches above my knee. I would size down 2 sizes next time. I am returning these dresses and ordering the 14 and 16 to see how it works out. I really want the dress to work because it's beautifully made and just all around gorgeous. Fingers crossed!

 I really enjoyed the color and texture of the dress.  BUT the material and quality was cheap.  I was disappointed with fabric!  The fit was big overall, the sleeves are very loose and long.  

This dress runs WAY larger than the size chart and measurements indicate. I didn't end up wearing it or asking for a smaller size because it just wasn't going to be flattering. The arms were also too long and the overall look was quite matronly. Very disappointing.
