This is really the perfect holiday/NYE/party dress!  I got so many comments. High quality! I ordered the 44 and 46 both fitted me but I went for the 44 as it was a little more flattering. I'm between sizes at the moment (thanks to all the holiday party's) so I was a little nervous if the dress would fit, well it did and I couldn't have been happier! 

Runs slightly large, I sized down for my backup and easily fit into the smaller size. 

I loved this dress style and it worked out wonderfully for a coworker's wedding where I was a bit unsure of the dress code. 

I rented this for a fundraiser cocktail party. The dress was great. It was very comfortable. It is not formfitting, so if you are looking for something sexy or to show off your curves, this is not the dress. However, I thought it looked nice and it was definitely comfortable for dancing, eating and drinking. There is the ruffle on the front, which adds some volume, but was not to ruffly in my opinion. The length on me was perfect. I am 5'4". It also folded up very easily, as I brought it with me to the event and put it on right before. I would rent this dress again for a similar event. 

Wore this to a work holiday party. Perfect blend of sassy, sparkly, and classy. Received many compliments. As a shift dress, it was loose and easy to dance in. Would recommend.

One of my favorites + would love to have in my closet! The sequin on the cutout lace makes a statement without being too flashy! The peek of material at the bottom is cute too which makes it easy to dress down. I thought length was great, fit was true to size, but if I have a back up size, I'd size up. I could see some people thinking the arms/top is a little snug - didn't stop me from dancing all night at our prom themed industry Christmas party! The sequins under the arms didn't bother at all either.



Loved this dress! So many compliments! I would rent this dress even if I wasn't pregnant. It was great for my little 17 week bump while not completely showing it off you could see it. I am normally a solid size 4 and have sized up since being pregnant but because this is a shift dress the 42 (size 4) was prefect! The dress has a little sheer slip that comes almost to your knees so if you aware shorter like me and and want to make it sassier some double sided tape to hold up the slip would make it a great length for short girls but since I'm pregnant and was going to a Christmas party the little extra length hitting just above the knee was perfect and elegant. Great designers, great quality and super fun for a LBD. 

I'm short, so as-is, with the black lining coming past the outer shell and down almost to my knees, the dress looked too mumsy. So, I really loosely stitched the black lining so that it hit above the outer shell instead. Made a huge, huge difference and changed the entire look from unwearably boxy to interesting mini shift. 

This dress was perfect for a bachelorette weekend. It was a little challenging getting on, the arm holes seemed a little snug, but when you I got it on, there was plenty of room. I didn't notice on the other pictures, but there is a big ruffle bow in the center of the dress, wasn't a huge fan of that, but overall it was very classy. Got tons of compliments. 

I loved this dress. I read the reviews beforehand, so I had a good idea of the bib-like thing that a few others mentioned. This was a great first rental.

The dress is over all very large and rather long. I'm typically a 6 and should have sized down. I used double sided tape to make it slightly shorter and more flattering.  The details were pretty, I overlooked the bib like detail on the neckline before ordering but it added flare. Slightly scratchy but nothing unbearable 

This dress is so gorgeous and fun for a formal occasion. It is definitely more sequined that it appears in the picture, and there is an interesting ruffle detail on the front on the collar. If I had known about the ruffles I might not have rented it but it worked for me! 

Because the dress was a 'shift' it was easy to wear. Looked very glamourous, too!

This dress was true A line rather than form fitting. The fit was still fine but I would have sized down if it had been available.

I'm not sure if this dress would be better if I went up a size, or if it just didn't fit me right. You need a very straight frame to wear it. RTR has such great customer service though, they were able to fix the situation right away.

The bow in the front which you can't really see in the picture was a bit much for my taste other than than nice dress. 

Honestly I thought I would be a size 42 since that equates to a size 6, but since 42 was available for the weekend I needed it, I ordered a size 44 and a 40 as backup. But guess what, size 44 fitted me perfectly! I didn't even need to try on the 40.  

I felt amazing wearing the dress and received lots of compliments!  Thank you RTR!

I loved this dress!!! It looked so good on me and was so comfortable. I didn't end up wearing it because it was just too cold outside but I can't wait to order it again. 

Loved the detail in the sleeves. Great LBD! Just a little tight around the arms. 

This dress is so flattering! The shimmer gives it a great look for a special occasion, and I've gotten so many compliments on it both times I've rented it. 

Unfortunately, when I received the dress, I didn't open it right away since I already knew what it looked like. As I was getting ready for my event, I noticed that the underneath layer had a quarter size hole in it. Luckily, you couldn't really see it, but I knew it was there and was conscious of it during the event. 

This dress was perfect for the fundraiser I went to that had a glam theme. I would totally rent again! 

I wore this dress to family wedding reception. It had the perfect mix of flair and yet was still modest. At 5'4", the skirt fell just above the knee on me, which was perfect. My 10 year old cousin proclaimed the dress was shiny!  My only complaint was that some of the lace detail around the sleeve was ripped because it's so delicate, however it wasn't that noticeable. Would rent again for a cocktail party.

The dress was very comfortable; not too snug around the middle (which is what I was looking for).  I'm short so the dress hit right about my knee but that was fine too. The sequin detail was just enough to make it feel special but not so sparkly that I felt overdressed. 

A little more formal than I thought it would be but still worked!

I loved this dress and think it was the best value for your money I have gotten on RTR. The dress is great quality and the sparkle is really classy. I wore it at 25 weeks pregnant but I am about 120 pounds and it fit well. Lots of compliments. 

I have actually rented this dress twice-- once, about three months after having a baby (and wore the 42) and again recently (and wore the 40).  It's a little itchy around the sleeves, but the sparkle is fun, and there's a bit of a ruffle in the front that you can't see as well online.  It has a little space around the midsection (hence the post-baby wear), although I did find it restrictive in the sense that I had a little trouble lifting my arms when dancing (as the sleeves are mostly sequin).  Overall, I thought that it was a fun wear for a wedding.

Great dress for New Year's Eve! Was a comfortable fit and appropriate length. Only complaint is the sleeves scratched the inside of my arms a bit. Overall was happy with the dress!

Beautiful dress. Even with a 34 AA chest it was still a bit tight in the shoulders and slim through the hips but wearable. The 42 would've been perfect. I'd definitely rent this again.

Dress does run a little small, so definitely size up—especially if you are busty. It hit me right above the knee. It's a  little black dress, but the detailing makes unique and fun. 

Was very boxy on me. Tight on hips and loose everywhere else, looking very boxy and mumu-esk on me. Weird neckline ruffles I didn't notice in the picture. Sadly, this one wasn't for me and I didn't wear.

This seemed like a really cute dress online with the pictures making the dress look really cute and comfortable for a night out, which it also appeared to be when I tried it on, but the dress was way too long for my 5'6'' self. The bottom of the dress features an additional sheer part that made the dress even longer than it already would have been without the feature. The sleeves were also significantly large on my arms and made the dress look out of place on my body. As the other reviews warn about, there is also a lace ruffle feature on the front of the dress, which wasn't bad, but I still didn't wear the dress (due to the other issues I had with it). Thankfully I had rented another dress for the event that worked out but I would recommend carefully reading about this dress before getting it--it's very pretty but only works for certain people.

This dress has a triangular bin of lace down the front that I didn't notice in the photos. It sat very oddly on my chest. Everything else about the dress was great. Good quality, interesting details and great fit. 

The dress is very boxy and didn't do anything for my figure. The bib also stuck out way more than photos or reviews made it seem. It was not flattering and I ended up not wearing either dress I ordered
