This is a perfect cocktail dress. I wore it for a formal affair and felt that the unique design elevated it enough for the formal affair. The size is perfect and it is flattering all around. 

The waist was a pretty tight fit but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Material wasn't stretchy but it was easy to move and/or dance in. Highly recommend! 

I rented this for my cousin's wedding in October, cocktail attire.  The color was a bit more berry than I originally thought, but I loved it even more because of that!  The dress fit perfect, felt great!  The peplum was perfect to flatter my mommy tummy, and I felt super confident setting or dancing.. without having to suck in! Haha!  The dress got compliments all evening!  Would definitely rent again!

I wore this dress to a work holiday party! It was conservative, classy and sexy. 

Pro : flattering. Beautiful color. 
Con : zipper is not easy to zip, even if it is the right size. Runs small, I am usually a 10, thankfully I got the back up size 12. Size up when in doubt. 

I wore this dress for an alumni reception and was super excited for the peplum and lace. However, I was disappointed at the size when it arrived. The band at the waist had no stretch and bunched up, making my torso look shorter than it really is. It was extremely difficult to zip, and nearly impossible to get into without someone there to help (the zipper starts really low and goes up to the neck of the dress). The arms were also tight,  and I couldn't feel when my bra straps kept slipping. Overall, I received compliments on the dress but would not re-order. 

Loved the color! Perfect for a fall or spring wedding. Fabric is not stretchy, especially the band near the waist so take a size bigger. Got lots of compliments.


The color of this dress is drop dead gorgeous and the concept is great. The fit was off for me and the cut of the armholes strangely large. I think that if the lace on this had some stretch there would be more chance of the dress fitting a broader range of women. I have narrow shoulders, small bust and average arms and the lace sleeves were droopy and sad. Someone with more going on up top could pull it off. 

Wore this dress to a winter wedding. Wore a size 0 which fit perfectly. There was some stretch in hip area. Fabric was not itchy and the peplum is very flattering. I'm 5'3" and dress hit above the knee.. perfect length. Really nice berry red color. Would wear again!

Fits very true to size or a little small. Lining shows a little when sitting 

This dress is a stunner! I felt sexy all night and could easily dance in it. The only downside I saw was the material of the sleeves hurt when I placed my elbows on a table. I would definitely rent this one again.

I am typically between a size 2 or 4 and both fit, but I opted for the 4 for a little more room and more comfort overall. I'd say the fit is as expected. The dress really accentuates all the right places. The detail in the lace is so pretty in person! More of a purple/deep pink tint to the dress vs just red or dark red, very pretty color!  

Pros: Every performance I wore this for, I received compliments on the amazing color/fit. So flattering, especially as a short and busty woman, I was ecstatic it fit like a glove. Cons: Zipper is VERY finicky. I was concerned it wasn't going to fit the first time I tried it on because it just wasn't shutting, but after a few hands helping out the zipper eventually went up. I would say it's from use, but the dress doesn't seem used at all, which is a nice thing.

As others mentioned, it's more in the purple family. Great fit. Lots of compliments. The 10 would have fit perfect but the zipper was stuck. Disappointed but the 12 worked fine. Would rent again.

My experience with this dress was great...my only complaint is that it did have a slight smell in the underarms, barely detectable (I'm very sensitive to these things), but still present. It's a little disappointing, as it was too late to do anything about it by the time I noticed.

The dress received dozens of compliments and I felt great in it. It was a little snug, so if you are on the fence about sizing, I'd recommend a size up.

The color is gorgeous. A perfect berry red. It's sophisticated and just enough to be "the woman in red," without it being over-the-top.

The peplum is a real hit-or-miss. I can see why it wouldn't work on other women. And, if I'm honest, the dress would have been much more flattering had the peplum been about an inch and a half lower on my torso. So, it really depends on your measurements. If it hit "just right," I can see how it would be extremely flattering.

I loved this dress! So comfortable and the fit was perfect. I wore a size 0, and I'm 5'4", 108 pounds. 

I wore this dress do a day time ceremony in a Catholic church. I wanted something thay stood out but was still conservative. The color was bold and beauitful, the fit was great, and the peplum accented my curves just right. One thing to note, I could not zip this by myself, needed help. 

I ended up wearing the 4, the size I ordered, mostly due to the length so that it would be knee length since I wasn't wearing hose or tights. The color is stunning. I received so many compliments while wearing this dress. I have a little extra weight around my midsection after having a baby and this dress was perfect as it kind of cinched me in but also the peplum covered it without adding bulk. The sleeves were not too tight and felt perfect for a mid October evening in the midwest. 

Absolutely loved this dress! The detail is lovely, and the color was perfect for a fall wedding. I ended up going with the 2 instead of the 4 because I liked the more fitted look. This dress was fun, easy to move around in, and comfortable. I would wear this again!

Unfortunately, my daughter was in the hospital and we didn't get to go to our wedding but since I had it, I did a quick try on. Fit is perfect. Color isn't really showing up in my photo but it's more of a fuchsia then red. Perfect for a holiday party. Pardon the lack of makeup and husband in the background :)

Great dress, loved the sleeve details and the beautiful color...more purple/plum than shown online. Versatile dress that could be worn for many occasions. Fit true to size. Recommend! 

Loved this dress! I received compliments all night. This is a dress I wish I owned to wear over and over. I thought I would need the 8, but 10 fit wonderfully. Very flattering and the color is a rich berry, not red not pink. Perfect for a November wedding with a jacket. I wore black open toe ankle strap heels and pearls. 

A little shorter and more fitted than I had hoped. I should have gone a size up. Otherwise loved the color and the style. 

I really loved this dress. It was very well made and I got compliments on the fabric. The stock picture makes the dress look like it's cranberry, when in actuality, it's more of a fuchsia color, maybe with a slight purple tint. I'm a curvy 12 and this fit my body like a glove in the best possible way. I'm 5'6 - and the dress hit about mid-thigh, so it's a little bit "mini" especially when I sat down. Overall, I recommend and would wear this again!

Loved the color and style of this dress but was a little disappointed with the fit. For some reason it made my hips look wide and was short on me in length. I loved the top half but there was just something off with the fit in the bottom half. Not one of my favorites from RTR

This dress is very pretty and delicate.  It was a bit sheer and thin, but is photographed very structured.  Additionally it photographs a holiday red color but is really more of a maroon (think Texas Aggie) color.

Rented this for my sister in laws bridal shower. First time wearing a peplum style and I liked it. It did make my hips look a little wide but overall comfy flattering dress. You will need to wear a strapless bra since the sleeves are see through.

A gorgeous pop of color, this dress both accentuated and hid all the right things. A strapless bra worked perfectly and I felt comfortable all night long. Will definitely rent again!

Do not rent this if you are petite! I rented a size 0 and for context I am 5'2" and 102 lbs. I am built narrowly and have an average length torso for petites. This dress fit horribly and was baggy. I rented it because I saw other ladies in my size who reviewed it but I don't know how it fit them. If you have a long torso and are my height, this may work for you. For context I'm a 28DD (narrow ribcage) and I fit into most 00P clothing with no tailoring.

Great fit, maybe runs just a tick small so it was very fitted but I felt comfortable in it all night. Had to wear a strapless bra because my other one showed through at the shoulders with the lace. Sexy, fun dress, I received a lot of compliments on it and would buy it if I could. I'm 5'7", 160 lbs with an hourglass shape and 36DD. For some reason that won't come up in the About You part.

This was a great dress for a fall wedding! I got so many compliments. I'm an aggressive hourglass shape and was worried about the peplum making me look too hip-py but it was actually strategically placed so you don't have to worry about your belly, but still makes you look curvy and nipped in. I did wear a nu-bra with this; the mesh on top and down the back would show a strapless. But I'm a 34D and still had no issues in that department. Highly recommend! 

Fit was great. Quality of fabric was amazing, photos don't do do it justice. I wish I could keep it. Tons of compliments. Color was beautiful. 

Dress was elegant and conservative, but still sexy. I've recommended it to several of my girlfriends. 

I am very petite so I was happy this dress wasn't too big or baggy. It looked tailored and fit like I could have owned it. It is very flattering dress with the waste line. I wore a strapless bra with the dress to fill out the top. The fabric of this dress FAR exceeded my expectations. It is a thick and very high quality fabric, and the color is rich with bit more burgundy in it that the model photo. My photo is not an accurate color of the fabric, it's more red than it seems here. Great dress, and would rent again! 

This dress was a great rental - I ordered the 0 and 2 (usually fluctuate between the 2 sizes depending on the dress). Although the 0 fit, I ended up wearing the 2 because it was a little more comfortable and looked a little better. The 3/4 sleeves and just above knee length were great for an early November wedding. This dress is definitely more of a cranberry color - I paired it with nude heels and gold earrings. The unique fabric on the dress was very comfortable and not itchy at all, and I loved the peplum!
