If you have a smaller chest & shoulders, smaller size may fit better so the back doesn’t ‘gap’ as you move your arms around. 

You can't see well in the RTR photos but the dress has some blue in it (front and back bottom sections, and backs of shoulders), which makes it stand out even more. I like how the dress elongated my body, and it was the perfect length with heels on. This dress is really pretty on. I wore a backless bra and low back spanx shorts but you almost done need anything with this dress. The dress has some weight to it, and I was a little warm wearing it but was worth it. I'm glad I sized up as fhe size I normally wear was a bit tight and made my back look funny in the back. 

This is an amazing formal dress that works really well for a large bust. It has a cinched waist that makes the gown very flattering. I had a great time in this dress and was able to move and dance all night and still be comfortable. Would definitely recommend for your next formal event. 

This is a great dress and fit the occasion perfectly.  The length was great, I only wore 2 inch heels and there was no issue for dragging. The dress is thicker fabric and the top mesh itches a little but is not anything unmanageable.  Overall, I am very happy with the dress.  

Worn to a formal winter wedding. I’m 5’5 145lbs and the 12 was large in the top but fit in the hips. This dress material has very little give/stretch so I’m glad I got the larger size. The back is very low so you won’t be able to wear a traditional bra. I ended up just using pasties and was very comfortable. 

I love this dress.  Wore it to Masquerade ball.  They only had a 16 so I wore that but it was definitely big all over.  Wish I could have rented a 14 but not available.  I felt beautiful and confident in this dress

The dress fit perfect, the quality was amazing. I wore a size 4r and it fit very well. I received many compliments. It was made very well and the embroidery made it heavier but not uncomfortable. This dress is stunning I highly recommend it. 


I loved this dress and felt really confident in it! I think if I rent it again and haven’t lost 5 pounds I will size up so I can dance more comfortably, but I would love to rent it again or even buy it. I got compliments and wish I had taken more pics. It has a sexy back, fits the butt so nicely;)  

Very conservative in front, a little party in the back. Love it and actually very comfortable. I wore it to a black tie gala. Perfect for hourglass body style. 

This dress really stands out. I wore it to a black tie gala and no one had anything like it. The dress is comfortable and true to size. I wore it with three inch heels and probably could have gone with taller heels but these were fine. I would definitely rent again.

The detailing on this dress is absolutely stunning — you will be noticed! I can wear anywhere between a size 8-10 and in these party dresses I’m usually a 10. The 10 BARELY fit me, and I wanted to breathe so I went with the 12 instead.

Got tons of compliments and even considered purchasing the dress. Beautiful details, makes you look tall, and is a fairly comfortable as far as floor length dresses go. 

This dress was even more stunning in person. It wasn't the dress I originally wanted to wear... as my original dress was returned late or something, so this was a last minute order but I was so happy with it! The fit was very comfortable. The look was so classy and elegant, it really fit the black-tie theme. 

This fit beautifully! I am very small chested, so I didn’t need to wear a bra! I received so many compliments and felt wonderful! And it was actually very comfortable!

I ordered a 4 long I wanted it long and I wore high heels so it was perfect! Fit perfectly! I got so many compliments and I felt beautiful. It was very comfortable and very well made. Easy process to order and send back! Read the other reviews and look at their pics see what your body shape is that would help you order the right size and if your not sure use your second one they let you get a size up just in case. Will definitely do this again!!! 5 stars in my book!

So, I could have fit into my normal size, but there is no stretch at all to the outer layer mesh/netting. So I'm glad I ended up getting a larger size as my back-up. That being said, this dress had really cool detailing and I got a ton of compliments!

Fits snug everywhere except on my postpartum pouch lol which I feel like is accentuated here, Especially because the lace appliqué lays directly on the front of it drawing more attention. Wish it was tighter in that area for more control and smoothing also long length is not long it barley touched floor and I won’t be able to wear any sort of heel with it

Gorgeous dress, everyone who saw it gasped, quite unique. I did not wear it because the dress was way too long. Even having about 3-4” hemmed would not work because the torso is very long as well (gathering about 3 inches from shoulders to shorten the torso, everything else fell into place - but that alteration was obviously not an option). If you are a petite, look elsewhere. For tall or regular proportional women, go for it because it is worth it. By the way, if it had fit me better I would not have worn a brassiere.

The dress was incredibly elegant with the floral lace, but also a very structured cut. I wore a stick on bra as I felt more confident than going bra-less.
The detail of this dress is lovely with some blue in the lace. Felt amazing wearing it!

Loved this dress. I felt very beautiful wearing it and it was very comfortable to wear. Much better than a lot of other formal dresses I wore in the past. 

This was actually a backup style after my primary choice became unavailable at the last minute, but I loved the fit and the look so it immediately became my #1. The back is super sexy and it is well-lined; I ended up wearing an adhesive bra for some shape and to fill it out a little bit. It’s hard to tell from the pic, but it’s actually black and a dark colbalt blue and ivory. Received tons of compliments all night! Length was just right - I’m 5’6.5” and wore 2 inch heels. 

I love this dress. I thought it was going to be too long but the length was perfect with 3.5" heels. As you may be able to tell from the photo, I don't have much in the way of hips so if you do that will make the dress a little shorter by filling it out more. In any case, I'm so happy I rented it. TONS of compliments!!! 

Loved this dress. I wore it to the opera. It was very comfortable and beautiful. You won't be able to get the back strap hooked without help, so be sure you have someone around to help.

5’7, 138# 34A size 6 fit perfectly with room to sit.  Wore a small heel, but flats could have been fine too. Back more open than I usually like. Beautiful overall.

I'm in love with this dress. It's beautiful from head to toe and perfect for a fancy wedding. It fit very snug so I would go a size up next time. My waist was a bit uncomfortable but it was so worth it. I got sooo many compliments:):)

Make sure you have someone nearby that can help you latch and unlatch the dress on the back. Need the special sticky bra since it is open back.

This dress is beautifully designed and wears so comfortably. I felt like it was tailor made for me. I did wear 3in heels and it hung perfect. I wore this to a charity masquerade gala and could not have chosen a better dress. It is absolutely stunning! 

I loved this dress and got so many compliments at the black tie optional wedding I attended. It is made from thick materials, so I was glad that the evening was a little cooler than I was expecting. I am curious how the 4 would fit, as I definitely had some room throughout the 6 (including the chest area without a bra). I was comfortable though and would absolutely wear it again!

Fit great! Was a little loose around the waist but I'm pretty flat chested so I'm sure a little extra in the chest area would help this! 

Comfortable dress!! Only a bit snug in the empire waist when sitting. I normally wear a 4 but that size would have left too much room in the bust. Didn't need a bra. Chunky heel was the call with the meshy material. Looked great and I would definitely rent again!

After a bit of a fiasco with the size I needed having damage, and none of my back up's fit (which were shipped to me promptly!) I ended up wearing a size up and it worked out ok. I have a large chest but narrow shoulders so the top was a bit loose, but not enough for others to notice. The back of the dress was really the show stopper and is amazing! Bonus, you do not need any shapewear with this dress at ALL! If you're talker than 5'4" get a long length.
