I wore this dress to a December wedding in Texas and it was perfect for the occasion! The dress was pretty and received a ton of compliments. I agree with everyone that recommends that you size up. This is especially true for my girlies that need a little extra thigh room, like myself.

As all the reviews say- size up- I wore the 8 ( o often wear 6 or 8 - but I wish I had the 8 and 10. I wore a spanx one piece bra/ body shaper and used the clear  bra straps and that worked well 

I used a navy vintage velvet purse with a gold handle and my gold strappy sandals. 

Perfect for fall and so many complements. 

Wore this for a formal charity gala. It is versatile in that it can be dressed up and down, with the long sleeves and nice skirt length. The fabric detail is quite intricate and prone to pulls, so be careful with jewelry clasps, etc. Beautiful dress, just found it a little shapeless.

Wore this to a black tie wedding and I really loved it! The fit was great! My only complaint is the top clasp came undone regularly so I had to keep having someone clasp it back up throughout the night. But this dress is gorgeous and it photographs beautifully! Lots of compliments! Ordered both size 10 and size 12 and went with size 10

I received many compliments on this dress. I generally wear a 6 in dresses. I sized up to an 8 as my hips are wider than most that posted pics in this dress. The black lining is soft and very good quality. It kept everything looking smooth without spanks.

This dress was beautiful, comfortable and elegant. Perfect for the garden themed wedding I attended. I got so many compliments. Also there are fun colors to play with so you can either wear black shoes or select something to pop like I did with the red. 10/10 would definitely rent again.

The dress hugs the body in all the right ways, although it does not have elastane.  Spanx or Skims help with the dress looking tailored and the lines of the body being smooth.  I wore it at an outdoor wedding ceremony and despite the 85+ degree temps the arms, upper back and collarbone area were sheer which helped to keep me comfortable.

Loved this floral dress. Such a timeless piece. It was perfect for my friends wedding rehearsal dinner but it would also be great for an upscale date night. 

I’m a solid size 14 (am 5’9”), I read the reviews and got a size 14 and size 16. The 16 ‘fit’ but was tighter than I prefer. It is pretty body-con. I ended up wearing my other option. But it is a lovely dress!

Wore this gorgeous dress to a conservative indoor wedding. While beautiful on, it’s not the most comfortable- minimal stretch especially in the upper body making it difficult to even raise your arms up. Between a size 0 & 2, I ended up sizing down & it fit like a glove. 

Felt like a million bucks and very elegant. Might not have been able to dance/move fully freely in it, but it is glamour to the core to offset that.

I felt like an elegant lady in this dress I wore to a black tie optional wedding. If I had more occasions to wear gorgeous dresses, I’d need to own this beauty!

Wore to a wedding in Carmel. Fit well thru bust, waist and hips. A bit snug thru shoulders when dancing but manageable. Also a bit tight when walking but really…how much power walking do you do in a fancy dress ;-). The embroidery does tend to fray as mentioned by another review. 

This was a perfect dress to wear to a semi-formal wedding. There's no stretch to the dress itself so be aware that you want to order your true size and probably a size up as backup. There were some minor fit issues, like the neckline of the inner dress is lower than it looks in photos and the lace in the back gapes between the hook at the back of the neck and where the zipper ends mid-spine. But overall this is a great dress for spring weddings.

I loved everything about it. Both my regular size 6 and the backup size 8 fit great. So I wore the 8 for a little extra comfort to sit and dance. The brocade-style details are gorgeous. It’s elegant and flattering. So many compliments!

This wouldn’t be a good dress for dancing, but I wore it to a retirement party and I felt beautiful.

I wore to a bat mitzvah and it was perfect - modest, elegant, and a beautiful pattern. No compliments, but I loved wearing it and easy to move in

The back is fairly low, the top is shear. All other comments are very helpful. i wore a “SHAPERX” Strapless Shortie Bodysuit ( loved it!) and also used Boob tape too! People loved the dress and I felt great in it. I wore the larger size 14. Perfect for my Son’s wedding! 

I liked this dress and although it was my first choice I went with a different dress for the formal wedding. It fit okay, but I would not recommend it if you have curves, it is not a comfortable dress. The 14 fit okay, but the 16 fit better. 

I have a larger chest and broad back so I should have chosen a size up for my back up size so it would fit more comfortably on the chest area. My true size is 12 and the body fit well but the chest was tight.

Comfortable and chic. I think this dress would probably look better on someone taller. I'm 5'7 and had on 4 inch heels. 

Thank goodness I received 2 sizes ! I’m 5’4 144 lbs and the 14 fit perfectly …so glad I got my dress from Runway received so many compliments …it’s truly a beautiful dress 

Loved the dress but wasn’t expecting it to be form fitting below the knee. It also runs small. I could normally wear a six or eight and ended up wearing the back up 10. 

I’m a petite pear. This dress requires a stick-on or strapless bra, or nothing based on your endowments. I received compliments all evening on this dress. I wore it with heirloom pearl and diamond earrings and bracelet, low heels and sheer black pantyhose. No necklace as the dress speaks for itself. 

This dress was absolutely perfect for a cool spring day!  I got rave reviews from many of the  wedding guests.  This dress was very slimming, soft and comfortable.  The 10 fit fine, but I wanted to be comfortable and not wear any "spanks," so I wore the 12.

Fit like a glove and got a million compliments. Only hitch was the little hook on sheer mesh back didn’t stay hooked and had to reconnect probably 6x over the course of the evening. It was also a bit “loose” at the mesh back (maybe has been stretched out a bit). But 100% recommend this beautiful dress! 

It was the perfect match for my Royal Ascot fascinator, good quality and comfortable. 

The dress itself fit perfectly but I have larger shoulders and I would have had an issue if I bent forward in this dress. Just felt like it would rip. So I went with a different option. 

I ordered the 2 and the 4. They felt almost exactly the same except the 4 had more space for a larger chest. The dress is snug, but its meant to be, so not the best if you'll be dancing. But it was comfortable to sit and move around it and was really beautiful. 

I received so many compliments and would order this one again.

Embroidery very pretty- doesn’t really show in person.  I am either a 6 or 8 in dresses.  Wore the 8 for this dress.  It is comfortable, but fitted without much give.  Loved the dress from the front, but the back has an odd gaping at the top.  I posted a picture in case it might make a difference to someone.  Received a lot of compliments- wore to my formal company holiday party.

Another RTR win! Endless compliments with this dress. It was comfortable, formal, and just the right amount of coverage for a work holiday party. 10/10.
