I’m a big fan of the opera so when we went to the Met, I knew I had to have a great dress. This is a perfect blend between cocktail and formal, hit at the knee and was very conservative without being grumpy. Thanks to the other reviews I sized up and it was perfect. 

I picked this dress out for my annual Alumni KY derby party. The dress is stunning, flower details are great. It was slightly tight in the ribcage but not in the bust. I accessorized with everything silver and sparkling. So many compliments, even won best dressed at the party.

I love the detail on this dress. The blue is beautiful and so rich. I wore this on a Photoshoot & for work. (I anchor a Streaming News Show). It Pops beautifully in pictures. I do wish it was a tad shorter . I'm 5'11. I wore a 12 so it was a little bigger in the bottom but I think it might have been harder to walk in if I would have gotten the Size 10. 

This dress is fantastic!! So flattering, so classy, so unique. I felt incredible wearing it! Highly recommend!

Ordered a 12 and the back up 14 was not available. It was very tight, so I ordered 2 replacements. They just weren’t right, so I wore Spanx and squeezed in. The dress was beautiful! Love the color and details. The reviews did mention the fabric did not stretch and it ran a little tight. The size mistake was completely on me! I was sure a 12 would work.

I am 5'1" and weigh 148. The size 12 was snug but very comfortable. I am average bust.   I felt comfortable with the neckline but it does show some cleavage.  

This dress was comfortable, and easy to dance in. The details are intricate without being too formal, and the top had some sheer elements to add a bit of sex appeal without being inappropriate for a wedding. Highly recommend! 

This dress is gorgeous. Be prepared to receive a ton of compliments. This dress has ZERO give and if you're a little wider in the hips, size up to give yourself a little room (it's helpful when trying to sit). Love it. Got told it was very "Princess Diana".

Like other reviewers, found this ran a little small. I'm usually a 26 jeans/2 but found the 4 to fit best.  I'm also a 32DD so it was a tad tight but zipped up ok.  Loved I was able to wear a bra with it!  Received many compliments on the dress, the color and style.  Marchesa Notte knows how to make a dress!  If it were my dress, I would have hemmed it probably 1-2 inches as ran a little long on me.  Overall, really loved this dress! #workparty

loved this dress!! the appliquéd flowers added a fun texture + dimension to an otherwise boring sheath. the color was stunning! the many layers of slip underneath made for an easy + gorgeous wear. it was modest enough without being boring.

i worried a bit that you could see my bra but it blended in with the dress. 

i sized up to a 10 to accommodate my butt/thighs so that it would not be too tight for a religious event + it was perfect (other than being a little big up top). many compliments!!!

This was the first dress to catch my eye.  Love the texture and color of the flowers, but as a short girl the length just didn't give me the feeling I wanted.  I did adjust the skirt to see what it would like like shorter and loved it.  If the designer made a shorter version I would rent it for sure!

I really loved this dress and all its floral dimensions. I wore it to my friend's bridal shower because the floral appliques reminded me of some of my favorite elements from my wedding party attire, but with a semi-formal twist! I got sooooo many compliments. I got the dress in a size 4 (I size up from my usual 2) since reviews said it ran small. The 4 was slightly loose in some places, but just barely, the 2 would have definitely been too tight.

The 10 fit (usually wear an 8) and it looked pretty good. I liked the appliqués; they're very detailed and unique. I didn't wind up wearing the dress though because it added so much bulk/volume to my figure. I felt like I looked 2 sizes larger than I actually am because of how the appliqués stuck out from the dress. I think this dress would look better on someone very thin. 

Loved this dress for a wedding I attended. It was very hot that day but the dress was lightweight enough and so easy to dance in. I got lots of compliments. Would rent again! 

Rented this for the reception of a "Black Tie Optional" wedding. I could not have been more pleased with this dress. I normally wear a size 8 and was happy I listened to other reviewers regarding the fit, I went with the 10. The dress fit perfect, with a bit of extra room left over to enjoy dessert! There is a bit of stretch in the fabric. I think the floral rosettes overall really give the dress an elegant look. I went with a contrasting red silk d'orsay heel for a bit more editorial vibe. 

The dress fit perfectly and it was exactly what I was looking for. 

Gorgeous dress that I got many compliments on, but wasn't very comfortable - I should've sized up because the ribcage area was quite tight. Lovely color and construction of the dress, though!

I was worried about size, but ordered a 10 and have been in 10'a lately and the dress fit fine. A little tight maybe but a size up would have been too large. My only qualm was that (to be honest) I looked a little more ridiculous than stunning in this dress...the appliqué flowers stood out a bit more awkwardly than elegantly in my opinion. May just have not been my style. 

No real cons, this dress was awesome! Sturdy, comfortable, and beautiful. Fits true to size.The detail of the dress was to die for.

I wore this for date night with my husband and overall I really liked it. I received multiple compliments. Overall it fit well. I am very petite and so the shoulders were a littler loose and slid down several times. I would still recommend the dress though. The flowers are 3D and the color is great! 

Rented this for a wedding. It was pretty but just not what I was looking for.

I rented this dress for a dinner event honoring friends of ours. I’m usually a 2 or 4 in a dress; the 4 was a perfect fit!  I got lots of compliments. If I could, I would have taken 1/2 star off for the zipper. Very difficult to zip up past the waist-almost didn’t get to wear it because of this. Otherwise, beautiful dress with a great fit!

I normally wear an 8, but the chest would not accommodate my DD girls so needed the 10; received lots of compliments, can easily go bra less 

I rented this dress for a black tie optional wedding. Definitely order at least a size (or probably 2 sizes up). I usually wear a 6/8 and the 10 fit but was tight. You will need a buddy to zip you, it's a really tough zipper. I appreciated this dress because you can wear a normal bra with it-score! The lace looked great and was high quality. There were flowers that kind of stuck out, which I kept going back and forth on whether I liked them or not. Definitely a unique dress. 

I wore this dress to a NYE gala. It was so comfortable to wear and I felt amazing in it! I received compliments all night!

My only complaint about this dress was that it was tricky to get the size right. I wear a size 4 American. I tried a 6 in the store which looked fabulous but was uncomfortably tight. I chose an 8 which was a little lose but I use garment tape to hold shoulders in place. Otherwise the dress was exquisite. Fabric was unique and feminine. The style was very flattering and form fitting but had some give. I received many compliments and "where did you get that dress" questions even in the elevator. So glad I rented this one. 

This dress was so dreamy for fall wedding! It's super comfortable, and flattering. They detail flowers brought such a unique texture to the dress that everyone came up to me adored it! I am a 36DD and did not need to wear a bra. I would absolutely recommend this dress and would love to rent it again! 

This dress is the color of beautiful royal blue! I thought it'd make me look old but it didn't. The only flaw is that the back slipper is a bit weird, there's a tough spot where the fabric keeps getting caught in the zipper

The only con was that the zipper was very difficult to use. 

This dress was a scene stealer and definitely a compliment grabber. The fit was perfect and it was unique and comfy

This dress does run a bit small as others have commented.  However, I was able to wear my normal size of 10.  I ordered the 12 as a back up, but I found that it was too lose on top.  I tend to go up a size to accommodate my hips.  The beautiful flower design helped to draw attention from the hips.  I was repeatedly complimented and felt lovely in this dress.  The color is a knock out!

I typically wear a 6 but the 6 was a bit tight even though I could zip it. This dress is gorgeous and I received so many compliments. It is perfect for anyone who is busty. The color is the flowers is a brighter blue and the dress is very classy.

I ordered a size 10 and should have ordered the 8 (size I normally wear) and it was a little big on me, but since I an 6' tall without heels I wanted the length to be good and it definitely was. The detailing and color of this dress was FABULOUS!  I felt amazing in it. So happy!!!!

My friend wanted to dress up and go to the library and disney-bound (yes it's a thing) and I thought-oh cute blue floral dress- this will be something like a formal verision of Belle's blue dress- and my friend claps excitedly when she sees it- the floral 3-d effect giving me rather broad shoulders and broader hips and goes "You're dressed up as the Beast!"- not what I was going for- so maybe petite girls will look more like a fairy decked in flowers- but I did not.
