i wore this to a fall wedding in the mountains and received so many compliments! it’s not always easy to find a full-length dress to fit my 5’0” frame, but this came really close. the only thing that would’ve been better is if the 2P was available, as i felt the straps on the 2R were slightly long (and they aren’t adjustable) and the length was *juuuust* a tad too long. but i manned up and wore my 4” heels to make it work. 

Glad for the backup size because I felt much better in it.  I felt very comfortable all night, length was good with flats.  Great to be able to wear a regular bra!

This dress was very flattering and perfect for a fall black tie optional wedding. I am typically a 4 but did have to size up one in this dress for my bust.

Beautiful and glad I wore this dress. The sides have wiring that do dig in however and it started to be a bit painful by the end of the night. 

I liked this dress a lot, the bottom is very flowy and fun. Like some of the other marchesa dresses the hip area is quite tight, but the straps were a little loose. I tried a 0 and I wouldn’t have sized up, but I decided not to wear this one to the wedding I will be attending. 

Great length and fit. Belt is fixed. Ordered one size up 

I never wear purple or anything like this but it was so pretty! Loved the embroidery, fit like a glove! Sleeves were a bit big but used fashion tape to stick them to my shoulders and was good all night. One negative there was one loose thread (was not my doing) which may be bound to happen when the dress is all embroidered. For ref 5’5”, ~125, wore 4R and was perfect. 

Long straps (had to pin), but so beautiful. Looks better and more formal in person than in photos!

This dress was perfect for end of September vintage themed wedding at a winery in Virginia! I got so many compliments and didn’t have a wear a bra which is always a plus! I will say it did feel tight at the end of the night after food and drinks but otherwise it was perfect!

A snugger fit on my cause of my hips/butt but I still loved it and thought it was flattering! I got a 12

This dress was everything! The details were so stunning and it fit just right. The straps did have a tendency to slip down, but it wasn’t all that bothersome. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!

This was a great dress that ran slightly small - I probably could’ve worn a 4 instead of a 2. Tight in the hips, but super long straps. Giving it four stars for the straps - I had to pin them tighter but I was still pulling the dress up. 

I’m 5’6” and about 176 lbs. I usually wear a size 12 in clothes but with all evening gowns I’ve needed to size up to a 14. The straps were a bit big and I had to pin them down. The waist was tight but that is usual for my body type. I got so many compliments at the wedding I attended on this dress and the fit of it. Loved it!

Loved loved this dress. Every marchesa dress fits perfectly and the detail is perfect. Usually wear a 4 but this was a perfect fit. Will be purchasing.

I actually loved this dress, I got so many compliments and felt beautiful. It was fitted in the hip (I have 38 inch hips) and didn’t bunch, but the top was loose. I also loved the length at 5’8” it came past my ankles 

So intricate, so many details! Everyone loved the embroidery. Easy to dance and walk around in. Perfect length. Literally only good things to say 

Didn’t end up going with this one for a wedding, but it was gorgeous! Really expensive looking and feeling with the embroidery and straps. A little awkward of a length but so pretty. 

This dress is true to size, both the 6 and 8 fit me but I went for the 8 (pictured) so I’d have a bit more space. It’s thick but not too heavy, I was comfortable at an outdoor wedding all evening. Stunning pattern and flattering fit; I hope to rent it again!

This dress is beautiful. Unfortunately I did end up wearing this dress to my event as it was very tight and although the dress zipped up I was afraid the dress would rip if I tried to sit. The length was perfect for my petite frame. 

I absolutely loved this dress and got so many compliments. It fit so well and had enough stretch to be able to dance.

Got so many compliments on this dress! The embroidery is beautiful and the colors are perfect for a spring wedding. I loved that the dress was almost floor length on me as I'm 5'2".

However, the fit was a bit strange. I ordered both the 0 and 2, and ended up wearing the 0. The hip area was very tight with no give, while the bust area was loose and straps were too long. I couldn't wear the 2 as the bust area was even larger. I ended up pinning the straps which helped on the 0. So, just a warning if you have a small bust and wide hips!

I loved this dress! Ended up sizing up to the 6, but felt beautiful and got compliments all night. Wore it to a black tie optional wedding. 

This dress fit perfectly! I got a million compliments, including multiple attendees asking for the link. Could be worn to a black tie or black tie optional wedding easily!

I wore this to a secret garden themed auction gala (aka "mom prom") and the colors and embroidery fit the theme perfectly. The mermaid cut made me feel like a million bucks and it was comfortable. I sized down to a 2 after reading reviews, but ended up wearing my regular size 4. I also wore a strapless bra to fill out the top a little and didn't have a problem with the straps sliding down. 

I wore this dress to a spring gala. The dress was a little tight, but if I sized up the straps would have been loose and falling down. 

It was comfortable and I received so many compliments. 

Perfect for a more formal wedding! I usually wear a 4 but I wore this at around 4 months pregnant so I ended up going with the 6, as the 4 was too tight. The 6 was very slightly too long and the straps were a bit too long as well, but both those things were easy to temporarily fix.

I wore this to a spring black tie wedding. It was the perfect dress! The 6 fit me like a glove but was still comfortable enough to dance in. Love!! 

This dress fit perfect.  I wore it to a formal wedding. I got so many wonderful compliments.  I wore the 8 and the length was good for my height with 2 inch heels.  The photo does not show how beautiful the color of the dress and tapestry is.  I agree with  other reviews about the straps being a bit long.  I did pin them to stop them from falling down. I loved this dress so much.  One of my favorite rentals.  

This dress was great for the fundraiser gala I wore it to. I went with the petite sizing since I am so short and it was almost perfect. This was true to size, my only issue was that the straps were a liiiittle bit too long, so I did have to pull them up a couple of times. I am 5'0" and I wore 3 inch heels, and the hem touched the floor a little on the sides. The dress is longer on the sides than in the middle, so I did have to be a little careful when dancing, but it wasn't too bad. 
This was in great condition and I got lots of compliments on it! 

Got this to wear to a gala but went with the other dress. This was okay. I really like this designer, but the color/design on this particular dress just seemed a little flat to me. The dress I went with had sequins and felt prettier. I am not big in the hips, but this dress hugs in that area; making it feel a little stiff to walk in. Would recommend going up 1-2 sizes. 
Pro: you can wear a regular bra. 

I got so many compliments on this one. The straps are gorgeous and I love the detailing, just wished they were adjustable. It was a little snug in the hips for me, but overall fit was good! I’m large chested and this was the most chest I’ve shown but didn’t feel like too much! The hem was cut straight across, not uneven as it looks in the photo so I would have liked that style better but still worked for me! Rent it and feel like a Princess at your next event!
