Beautiful dress, comfortable to wear for the cocktail hour and dinner but a bit too form fitting for any dancing. If dancing is in your plan, size up. A bra was not necessary and would've made it too tight. I went with the stylist suggestion for a bare neck as the neckline is already decorative and pretty. Wore it with black ankle strap heels - think it would look even better with nude heels. This was fun to wear!

It was a bit snug and hard to zip up on my own but the next size up didn't look as nice so I went with the 6

This dress is beautful. It has see through lace that's subtle up top and amazing details throughout. I wear a 0 but the 2 fits tightly in this dress. There is no stretch, so size up or the arms will be cutting off your circulation. I loved this so much I rented it twice!

I wore this to an evening wedding with no specified dress code. It ended up being perfect for both the religious ceremony and the reception's dance floor. I felt perfectly dressed even with other guests who erred more formal (long dresses) and others who went more casual (party dresses and converse sneakers). 

The fabric is delicate-- don't plan on doing the YMCA (the sleeves were not "tight" for me as other renters mentioned, but they were a little motion restrictive at the shoulder); I still managed to have a great time dancing without any fear of harming the dress.

It's not as green as it looks in pictures: the lace thread is gold and, over the teal overlay it photographs green.

I was able to wear a nude bra (with straps) without it being visble (but my hair was also down in the back where it might have been vaguely noticable otherwise). Spanx might be helpful at the tummy as it is straight with little give and curves will pull the fabric tight.

This dress complimented the grey and navy colors worn by the wedding party so well.  For shoes I wore a silver glittery open toed, chunky heal that worked great with the colors of the wedding. I liked it even more than the bone color shoe that I got for back up. It is sophisticated, classy and sexy. The green lace overlay made it look teal and was beautiful. The neck line is unique and the cut out in the back gives a hint of sexy in the back. I loved this dress and got so many compliments. It was perfect!

I loved wearing this dress and would definitely purchase it! It's so unique and really stands out. I wore a strapless bra since the shoulders have see-through lace. I did go one size up from usual to be more comfortable. This was perfect for a fall outdoor wedding!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. The neckline and detailing on the back makes it sexy, yet the sleeves make it so you don't feel overexposed. 

I usually wear a 6 but ordered a 4 because it was all that was left, and it fit like a glove! I could still dance in it without too much tightness. Received many compliments, and felt sexy and classy. Definitely recommend!

Typically a size four in dresses, the size 6 dress fit quite snugly. I wasn't uncomfortable, but definitely aware of how tight it fit. Definitely size up one size when choosing.  Otherwise, it was a stunning dress and went really well with my green eyes and red hair! :) 

This dress is beautiful! I am short, 5'1 and I didn't feel like it was too long. The arms are a little tight so I would size up for back up if you are worried about that. I could wear the 4 but I went with the 6 for more arm flexibility. Got tons of compliments and felt great in the dress all night! 

Did not button the dress but tucked it a little and wore it a bit off the shoulder.  Received so very many compliments.  

It felt awesome to wear! Make sure you have the right undergarments.

I am 5'3", 98 lbs, and a 32 A with a sturdy but petite frame. The fit is snug in the shoulders. The smaller size (2) fit better overall (especially with the length and in the hips), but — because I was worried about tearing the lace — I wore the larger size (4) as a precaution.  Otherwise, the dress fit according to the fit guide on this site. The dress was much more of a true jewel-tone, with subtle gold threading. I was not sure if the event I was attending was formal or semi-formal, and this dress was the best because it really would have worked in either situation. I loved wearing it, and highly recommend it!  

I usually wear an 8 or 10 and I wish I had gone with a 10 on this one, but I made it work with some Spanx. Got tons of complements all night long and very comfortable. 

I was nervous because this was my back-up dress, but luckily it was true to size and it was so comfortable. I got so many compliments, the design is so beautiful and exotic. The only issue I had was that the hook in the back kept coming undone since I have pretty narrow shoulders, so I ended up having to bend the hook a little so that it would stay hooked. The dress is not very padded in the chest area, but it was enough to wear without a bra, which added to the ease and comfort of wearing this dress. Overall, I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!

A bit small in the armpits for me, but a pretty good fit overall.

This dress is incredible, the lace detail is so stunning in person. It did run true to size, but the arms were the tightest fit. I wore this for my husband's work function, where I knew I wouldn't be dancing, but if I were wearing it to a wedding, I would have worn the size 4 to give my arms more room to move. The sheer lace on the arm is very delicate, so order a size up if you are going to be dancing a lot.

This dress is beautiful in person - the gold lace detail is more subtle than I thought it would be. It's snug on the hips but comfortable throughout, and the cut is very flattering on the waist. Compliments all night!

First, I must say that I've rented many dresses from RTR in the past, liked every dress, and always had a positive experience. This dress is THE most beautiful dress I've ever worn; I have never felt more beautiful than when I wore this dress. The dress is even more beautiful in person. It shows enough skin to be a little bit sexy, but is so classy at the same time. I wish I could just buy it and keep it forever! I wore this dress to a black tie optional fall wedding and received compliments all night. The fit ran true to size. As others have commented, the zipper was a little stiff, so you may need help zipping it up. The dress fits very snuggly where it needs to (I was able to go braless), but gave me plenty of room in the waist so I was able to eat as much wedding cake as I wanted (ha!). 

Fit is true to size, but it was a little tight in the bust. It's a beautiful dress and the lace is very elegant. I would rent it again!

This dress was a home run! As a first time renter (and having recently lost 45 lbs), I was concerned about fit.  This dress was true to size in my opinion.  Being a tall girl, I was also concerned about length, but this dress fell perfectly at the knee.  I heard compliments all night!  I felt like a million bucks!!!

I recieved SO many complements!  I am 5'2" and the dress went just past my knee -- which ended up being lovely.  I have a short torso, where I the lace bunched a bit at my natural waist.  However, when standing up tall, it worked out well.

Had to wear the size up because the shoulders were tight. I wouldn't consider myself to have very broad shoulders. The 8 fit nicely, but I just wanted to be comfortable so I went with the 10 so that I could dance and have fun!

Everyone loved this beautiful dress.  It is beautifully fitted and has great detail:  lovely color and lace.  I would have bought this dress.  It fits like a glove, but is elegant and ladylike.

I tried this dress on during a visit to NYC RTR store and fell in love with it. I waited for the right occasion, a destination wedding in Hilton Head. Couldn't have found a more perfect dress! Colors are subtle yet rich with some shimmer in the gold thread lace. Men and women were stopping me coming out of the ceremony to compliment the dress. Fit is true to size, I wore strapless bra but you could probably were a bra with transparent straps. 

I would choise this dress and this designer again and again!! Love the fit and design. The quality is amazing. 

Runs a little tight in the hips. Usually wear 6-8, but glad I sized up for this. 

Beautiful, elegant dress.  A little tight in the arms, and no stretch, but simple beautiful for a formal affair.  Would not rent for dancing, but would definitely rent again! I hated to send this one back!

The fit was snug, but so flattering! The design was so detailed and special. I am a 32D cup and the top portion fit nicely. I am wider on the bottom, so it was more snug in that area.

I wore the 10, and it was a tad tight. I was comfortable enough in it, and got lots of compliments, just wished it were a little looser. 

It was odd, I rented the 0 and the 2. The 0 fit better overall but was too small in the arms. The 2 was a bit large and bubbled out a touch but as least I could get my arms into it, although they were still tight. I actually wound up not going to this even since my date bailed at the last minute so I wore it to dinner instead and got tons of compliments. 

This was my first RTR experience. I originally wanted a size 8 but it was out of stock on the date I needed a dress, so I ordered down and got a 6 for my main size and a 4 as backup. I am quite busty - my normal bra size is 32DDD (or fuller around certain times of the month) and my only complaint about this dress is that it is probably not meant for small-figured ladies with a full bust. The size 6 dress fit the girls snugly with an unlined bra and it smooshed them so that they were less round than they usually are (similar to wearing a sports bra with big boobs, if you are busty then you know what I mean!) That being said, ultimately I didn't dock any stars for that because the 6 was slightly loose everywhere else on my body and that's generally something I find when going dress shopping. There were some minor tears on the top part of the garment that had been sewn back together with thread in a similar color - however due to the nature of the netting and the detail of the dress, these were barely noticeable. The dress does have some beautiful gold details to it that don't show very well in photos - just keep in mind as you are planning your accessories. I wore to a formal wedding with pearls and black kitten heels so as to avoid the gold/silver conundrum. Overall, I really liked this dress and I got compliments on it all evening. RTR made it easy to feel glammed up at a formal wedding without having to break the bank. Will definitely use for my next formal event.
