Wore this dress to a baby shower and it was perfect for the occasion. I was a little hesitant to rent this dress because I didn't know how the baggy look would go with my body type. I usually wear form fitting dresses so this was a change but the baggy flow made it perfect for an outdoor daytime affair. Got lots of compliments on the dress and the color. I usually wear a 2 or a 4 depending on the brand so I rented a size 2 and it fit perfectly. Overall, great dress and I would rent it again.

This dress is a slip-on, no zipper. The lining is definitely tighter, but wasn't too tight that it was a problem. It was a little tight in the chest but not tight enough to go up a size because it is loose throughout. I wore it to an engagement party that was outside in Florida and it was about 85 degrees that night. The dress is light and comfortable. I would buy it!

Very cute and casual dress. I wore with flat sandals. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the lining is a little tight. The dress itself fit great, but the lining was restricting (especially in the hips). Material is very soft and the pattern is adorable. Would rent again. 

The color and pattern is very summery. Mara Hoffman does not disappoint! The fabric is very lightweight too. The only con I see is for pear shaped women like myself. The lining was very tight on the bottom and would sometimes created a poof around my midsection. I kept this under reasonable control by wearing a pullover sweater on top of it so the dress just looked like a skirt. This is not a dress I would want to buy but it is cute. 

This dress is light, breezy and fun! I usually wear a little more form-fitting, so this was the perfect dress to transition into a shift style dress. I 100% felt comfortable all night...it's light weight and eye catching. S0 many compliments and I felt like my dress was so much different than all of the rest. 

Glad I ordered the extra size up! The fabric doesn't have any stretch and as someone else mentioned, the lining is pretty annoying. Doesn't like to stay put. Love the pattern and colors of this dress but glad I don't own it. Still happy with my rental though! 

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner in Florida, I loved the pattern but the fit was very boxy and not flattering in photos, I wore the XS but in photos felt like it looked too big! Still very comfortable and a great vacation dress.

This dress is adorable. The fabric is light and airy, colors are lovely and bright, the dress is fully lined (without being hot, perfect summer dress)...The lining however ended up being my issue. The chest was a bit tight and if you look closely in the picture you can see the white lining creeping up. Which bugged me. So I chose to wear something else. The medium would have been perfection had it not been for that issue. To be honest, if I didn't have some extra time to find an additional outfit I would have made it work. It is such a cute dress! I tried on the large and although the girls were nice and comfy, I was swimming in the darn thing and it came down to my knees. Way too big...which is why I selected true to size.

The dress was great for our coastal trip to Croatia. I usually choose more form fitting dresses but I ended up LOVING the cut of this dress and received lots of compliments. As others have mentioned the lining does occasionally show at the chest but this did not bother me since I only had to adjust it 1-2 times per wear. This dress was very comfortable.

Fit loose on top but a little snug through the hips, may be best for those with small hips, but I loved this dress!

I wore this dress for a day-after wedding brunch this past summer. Based on the reviews I ordered a Medium so that my bum wasn't too tight. It fit perfectly! I'm usually a 2-4 in tops/dresses & sometimes a 6 if it's snug in the hips, but in this dress the Medium was the way to go. 

I loved this dress. The only downfall was that it felt tight around the arm holes. That being said, I was still able to wear it and I loved it. Great pattern and that material is soft and comfortable. However, if you have broad shoulders and a big chest it might be a little tight like it was for me in the chest area.

This dress is a perfect depiction of my style, it is loose for comfort but fun and cute! I was very happy with it, one of my favorite rentals! 

Should have worn a medium...I tend to order other if I think the dress will be too short but I think a medium would have been perfect and still roomy and long enough to to be comfortable. Other than that, great time wearing this dress. The colors are great and it works for day or night. 

This dress was perfect for a casual wedding. It was loose in all the right places and fitting where needed. I would definitely wear this again!

So cute! Wore for the Fourth of July in DC 

This dress was comfy, lining of the dress fits comfortably but the overall look is forgiving.  I wore with gold sandals, and a navy blazer to walk to dinner in the city.  Wore it the next day with flip flops to a picnic.  Could easily be dressed up with heels or wedges, and jewelry.  Easy to Wear and I got a few compliments!  

The dress fit well everywhere except when looking at me from the side it looked like I had a poochy stomach. It was a fun print but not something I would own.

This dress fits true to size. The inside liner is tighter than the dress itself, which actually feels kind of nice. The dress is a drapery than I thought it would be but it adds to the dress's casual aesthetic. While the dress has many colors, I think the main color is a light purple. For some reason I thought it was pink. Still a cute dress and I would recommend renting it!

Loved the print of the dress, but as other reviewers mentioned, the lining runs small. I did not feel that the dress itself ran small, but the lining is tighter than expected. Good dress for more casual events. 

I wore this for my outdoor birthday brunch. Love the colors and print! Fit true to size. 

Very vibrant and beach-perfect pattern. Wasn't crazy about the fit as the middle was baggy but the lining made the bottom tighter so it pulled up when sitting down, but would have been too big in the chest and arms with a bigger size. Good for a very casual weekend day or day at the beach. 

I wore this dress for a backyard cookout party.  I dressed it up with wedges and a simple gold pendant necklace, but could have worn flats to make it more casual.  I am 4'11 and 100 lbs and it was roomy (but not too big) on me.  I used safety pins to adjust the straps about a half inch at my shoulders because the cut was too low and exposed the top of my bra when pulled down even slightly.  Like other reviews mention, the white lining peeked over the top of the neckline.  I received numerous compliments on the color and pattern and would definitely wear it again.   

I'm typically between a 2 and a 4 and assumed the S would be the way to go. I am pretty sure the XS would've been better because the shoulder straps are loose and so is the chest area. the dress is meant to be worn loose so it's not a big deal, but because it is a bit large it looks more boxy than it should. I absolutely love the pattern and the color so I will certainly rent it again, but won't be afraid size down this time! the hem is about 2 inches above my knee and i can wear a regular bra with the dress

The lining underneath was much tighter than the actual dress.  I felt like it rode up and I was constantly having to pull it down, but no one would notice that besides the wearer.  I wore it with flat sandals. A fun, lightweight dress that was great for a "stock the bar" outdoor shower.

I usually love shift dresses because they're flattering on me, but this one just didn't do the trick.  It was way too boxy.  I felt like I was wearing a potato sack.  It was a backup dress for a fit that didn't fit me, so I had no choice but to wear it.  A medium might have done it.  

Otherwise, it was a pretty dress with a pretty pattern. 

This dress is so cute! It's the perfect casual day dress that can transition into night. That being said, it's not for the petite or small framed. It practically hung off of my chest. Sadly, I couldn't wear this. 

Dress was beautiful - a true shift, easy to wear.  The only complaint is that the lining kept creeping up in the chest area - I was constantly fussing with it, and pulling it down.  Also - it was tighter in the hips and looser in the bust area (this could just be a quirk based on my body) - but when worn with a navy blazer, you couldn't notice and I received a ton of compliments.

I loved the pattern of this dress and rented it to wear to a casual party which it would have been perfect for except it was too snug through the hips and butt. I was surprised as the dress is described as a boxy shift - which it is - fit perfectly everywhere else. Disappointed! 

This doesn't really fit like this designers other dresses. This was very tight through the hips.

I loved this dress so much I bought it. I've worn it out to dinner and during the day with sandals. Beautiful colors and fits your shape without being tight in the waist. Very nice quality fabric. 

I rented this dress for a trip to San Juan. It fit well in the hips and chest on my straight & narrow frame but was a little short on me. I would've preferred to  order size bigger but a small wasn't available. Curvy and/or busty girls may want to size up from their usual as the lining on the inside is more snug than the dress. This dress was really comfortable and light-weight which was perfect for the sunny/humid Puerto Rican summer weather. It's loose through the waist, perfect for enjoying lots of delicious Puerto Rican food! Would definitely rent again!

Adorable dress. Received compliments each time I wore it. Very comfortable fabric and fit, and loved the print!
