I wore this dress to celebrate a fall birthday for a friend. It was the perfect dress for a cooler night at a classy hotel. Not too dressy and not too casual. I felt great in it.

Fun cut and style, but unfortunately the buttons pull and gap. Cannot wear like this, will need to size up.

Medium wasn’t available but it def would have fit better, so true to size. Large worked alright but wasn’t as flattering since it hung a little. Was super comfy and had some stretch. Would rent again in correct size 

Wore to a conference and got lots of compliments! Loved this dress. Very comfortable and easy to move around in. Gives shape without being restricting or feeling worried about tummy.

Went to a wine fest in October. Excellent shape for full-busted petite ladies. Very flattering. 

Super cute for fall or Florida winter. I rented again and sized up to XL for a little more room!

Wore to dinner for Valentine's Day. Very comfortable. Nice thick fabric too kept me warm while waiting for the car. Paired great with tall boots. 

This dress was perfect for a holiday party with my running group.  Comfy but still dressy and I probably should've rented the small instead of medium. Might buy it in the future.  I actually wore it twice and with tights both times.  Material is soft and versatile.  

This is a nice versatile dress which can be dresses up or down. Fabric was somewhat course, and I felt the fit was not flattering on me at at (I'm a pear shape). Could have possibly been better with a thicker belt. Wouldn't rent again.

I have found this brand always runs a bit small so I size up. It fit great but in the chest area there was a gap and I had to pin it shut. Other than that it's a beautiful comfortable dress. It does have some stretch which I always appreciate in a holiday dress. 

Color and fit were nice. Nothing special but worked well for Christmas Day.

Wore this for family Christmas cards.  I normally wear a small in Madewell dresses, but am a bit larger postpartum, so the medium fit well.  Very comfortable

Definitely size down in this dress. I'm usually a S but think I would have been swimming in a S. The material is a great quality, has a good amount of stretch and is super comfy. I would caution that when sitting the fabric between the buttons gaped a little and would have more so if I was larger chested. Great color and style for fall with boots! 

This dress is a great material. The sleeves are very puffy and there is some puff to the shoulders too.  However, I felt great wearing it.  I'm usually between a 4 and 6 and the small fit great, if not slightly too large.  I think the XS would have been too small.  I'm 5'3" and it hit just above the knee.

Great Madewell dress, nice fabric, not too thick, not too thin.  5.7, 145 lbs and the medium fits perfect.  Great burgundy color.  Perfect for date, going out with friends.  My favorite part of this dress are the sleeves, flattering, not too long 

The fit is perfect. It was a nice length right above the knees. The color looks brown in photos but in person it's more of a burgundy color. I wore it to work then a paint and sip (same day) and then wore it to a winery. A nice dress for work and going out.   

I think this dress looks better in person than in photos - the material has a slight texture to it that adds visual interest. Fit really well - skimmed my body but wasn't clingy at all. Great for bigger chests - I actually wonder if it might fit a bit large in the chest for smaller chested gals. 

Great fabric and fit! Perfect length for desk to dinner. Great detailing with the cut, buttons, elastic on the sleeve. Ill probably rent again. 

Great material. If you're in between sizes you should size down.
