Super cute/casual wear to run errands in. Rented for Labor Day weekend to hang out around the lake

It's cute enough to run your errands. The fit is true to size and roomy, but not too boxy.

Classic Madewell boxy cut. Given that, I ordered a Small, which I typically wear from this brand. However, I definitely suggest sizing up if your tall (I'm 5'8"). This was kind of short! It would be fine for a cover up, but I found it too short for running around town.

As other reviewers mentioned, this dress is on the shorter side. For my 5"2 frame it was perfect. Not sure it's the length I would be comfortable in at work but perfect for everyday. Loved the print and material, spot on. 

Can't go wrong with classic Madewell - cool and comfortable. Threw it in my backpack for a weekend trip, and paired with flat sandals for a casual summer day. 

This dress is a perfect looser fit. It can be dressed up or down with shoes/accessories. The slightly thicker fabric and boxy shoulders added an elevated touch to a classic look. 

Perfect for on the go. Warning: a little short!

This fit true to size in my opinion and was a good length for me, but I'm 5'2". Might be a little short for taller gals. The t-shirt material was thick and not see through, which I was worried about.

I rented this in early fall so I didn't get to wear it more than twice but if I got it in early summer I know I would have worn it so many times. It looks adorable with a blue baseball hat and some white sneakers for basically anything you could need to do in the daytime and it also looks great with a jean jacket and some white jacks for a cute casual date night. It's so easy to throw on and put together. I felt cute and put together in it but it was comfy. Nice wide cut while still flattering

I usually wear a 10 or 12. I ordered the large to be safe. It fit well and was flattering, but was loose. I likely could have worn the medium. I wore it twice during the day. Could sit and move with ease.

For me, it was too short to wear. Cut at an unflattering length, as well as just too short for my preferences. Definitely cute in person before I put it on. Fabric is different than I thought it would be - thicker and more structure, no give or stretch. Not a bad thing just different than I had thought it would be!

Cute T-Shirt dress but didn't wear. I'm between an 8-10 and wear a M in other Madewell dresses. The Medium was super snug around my hips but the top fit OK. If you have a booty, size up. 
Also, the color was more off-white/cream than I anticipated. 
 

The dress was a little stiff for a tee dress and that made it very boxy. I never wore.

Adorable dress, but this was too short to wear. 5'8 size 10/12 and medium fit well overall, just not even close to being appropriate length-wise. 

Extremely short. Couldn't even wear just around the house and i'm not tall

Wanted a casual tee shirt dress and selected this Madewell version. Pros: cotton and oversized. Cons: too long and weird fit. The shoulder area was too big and the length too long.

Ended up not wearing this one. It was really big and boxy.

I thought there would be at least a tiny bot of shape to this dress but I didn't even wear it because it was literally just a giant, stretched out, boxy tee. 

Super cute!!  runs a little big, but it is not one that I wanted to be tight.  fun little casual dress for after the pool or even a weeknight out.  love it - may purchase it!
