I rented this dress for my friend's rehearsal dinner.  I absolutely loved this dress, but I chose this dress for it's versatility.  You can easily dress it up or down.  Plus, its the perfect dress for transitional weather.  I live in Pittsburgh, and September and October weather can be very unpredictable.  I figured whether it was 30 or 70 degrees outside, this dress would work!  A couple details.. The dress is actually very sheer.  You are really the only one who will be able to tell, but if you are very modest, you might feel uncomfortable.  The dress was the perfect length on me, but I am only 5'4".  So, if you are taller, you might want to pair it with leggings or tights.  Overall, I loved the dress and received several compliments!        

When I first tried on this dress, my husband and I had a good laugh at how short it was on me. But at the suggestion of another review my height (5' 10"), I added a little black skirt and viola! I was now wearing an incredibly cool shirt. The wedding I wore this for was more of a party vibe, so the two-piece look worked well. Just three months after having a baby,  I felt lovely and comfortable all night. 

My boyfriend's son was getting married and I needed to look beautiful and yet not too dressy since the wedding was casual.I was very excited about this dress. When it arrived, I got worried, as I opened the garment bag and my first thought was... this is not a dress, it looks more like a shirt/top!. Once I tried it on, I noticed it can be worn as both but for me as a dress it was more than fine ( I am 5'1'). I am glad I ordered a small size(38) and one up(40)from it as the small was too small but the 40 size was perfect. I wore an undergarment, as suggested in the reviews. The only drawback is that I could not lift the arm with the sleeve as the dress was lifting and revealing my undergarment and it was not flattering. On the other hand, I had LOTS of compliments on the dress and everyone told me it was a very original and flattering piece. Thank you RTR for another big success!. 

Dress is sheer.  Make sure to have a strapless slip ready!  The "bra petals" I wore were too light underneath so had to remove them.  Otherwise dress was simply awesome.

I wore this dress to a charity kick off party in Palm Beach on a yacht and it was perfect. WARNING - this is very short, very short. I am a girl that loves a mini but I had to purchase a BCBG skirt to wear under it for an additional 2 inches of length. With that said, the colors are amazing, the pattern is great, and although this is a loose fitting dress - there is a sexiness to it while maintaining a classy look. There are so many gorg colors in the knit the accessories options are endless. You could pair this with skinny jeans, leggins, a mini skirt or wear it as a chic cover-up. Overall it was a great pick, a lot of compliments given, only 4 of 5 stars because I would love this a bit longer :) 

This dress is very different and stands out in the crowd.  It was really baggy on me, however, and I had to belt it.  It ended up looking great with a skinny gold belt and the statement necklace I rented.  I was happy with my rental.

I wasn't typically used to wearing a dress that's like a "bag" fit but I actually really loved this dress.  My boyfriend didn't love the fit because it was not tight, but I loved it! I was skeptical because it might have been see through, but it was definitely not. One complaint was that it was short, so anyone around 5'9 and not used to wearing shorter dresses, you might not love this. Just wear a full panty! 

The dress was a little large, I would recommend sizing own just one size from your average.  Also, be sure to have a strapless slip or something that covers your body for under the garment.  

RTR was out of a size medium in another dress and they offered this one for me for free (!).  Super cute, but casual.  And the side w/ the arm lifts up when you lift your arm, so I wore leggings.  I will add that I am 7 months pregnant and this was comfortable, but I prefer a form fit so my pregnancy is obvious and I dont just appear bloated.  Wore out to dinner.

Hi Kristen! I would suggest wearing a slip under this dress, as it is a bit see through! 



As a heads up - this dress is designed and cut to fit like a breezy poncho, so expect that it will drape, not hug your physique.  That being said, it was PERFECT as a cover up for my day trip to Caudalie Spa!  I received multiple compliments but even more importantly, I loved how chic it made me feel! It boasts the classic Missoni zig zag motif, but with the volume turned up in a fashionable color blocking design. It offers just the right amount of classy & sexy thanks to the exposed shoulder and slightly sheer fabric.  This, Ladies, is the secret to escaping the perpetual seasonal wardrobe shift: RTR!  BTW, it's hard to appreciate the intricacy of the poncho's patterns via photos. So beautiful...

I wore this dress for a brunch birthday and it was perfect. The dress is very sack-like and hung like a pancho. That was the look I was going for, but if you want a form fitting dress, this is not it. The fabric is sheer so I wore a black tank dress underneath. I got a ton of compliments. It's a perfect dress if you want to look effortlessly chic.
