It is 100% cotton which was perfect for the cotton casual party. Thick enough I didn't have to wear a slip but not hot at all. It was a little tighter then I would have liked but will def rent again in size 6.  It gave me a little curviness which was fun. It was a little more blue than pictured with beautiful light gold details around the neck and down the center. 

The dresse is beautiful , well made,  not to short for my 5.2. People comment how beautiful it was, even the waiter came up to  me to tell me where I got this dress., run small, but only size 2 was   Available , I will rent it again.

I'm typically a size 4, but I also have a larger bust, so the 6 fit perfectly. The fabric is a bit heavier than I anticipated, but still comfortable enough to dance in. I received so many compliments on this dress. Gorgeous color, perfect for a spring/summer wedding! Fast shipping & easy return. 

I wear usually a 10 or 12 in Lilly and the 10 fit me best.  It wasn't too tight but it was more form fitting than showed in the model picture.  I wore a strapless bra which fell below the keyhole back so it wasn't an issue.  There wasn't much give in the bust but it was not uncomfortable.  Everyone told me they loved the dress.  The color was beautiful too.  Definitely a must rent.

The color is a really beautiful light blue, and the gold detail isn't too flashy. I ordered a 2 and a 4 and both fit pretty well I just decided to wear the 2  since I liked the look a little better. Overall, it could work for a day or night event, formal or informal!

In my opinion, it ran quite small. I'm normally a size 8 in dresses and a size 8 or medium in Lilly.  It seems snug in the hips and bust-- extremely snug in the bust. However, the 10 was perfect and I loved the dress!! 

The 4 fit really well but wasn't quite as comfortable as the 6 so went with comfort. This dress is gorgeous and perfect for any outdoor occasion!

I usually wear a 4, but it was not available so I went with a 2 and it was form fitting but I loved it! The model does this dress no justice-- it's not flowy and awkward it is actually very figure flattering! I am 5'9 and it was a great length for me! 

I wore this to a sorority spring formal. Received SO many compliments. The pros: Gorgeous color. Versatile and could be worn for a formal event with heels or a daytime event with wedges. Beautiful appliqué has the perfect hint of sparkle! Only con is the top had an unusually snug fit for a Lilly size 6 and I urge caution if you're on the busty side. Other than that, this dress was beautiful and I loved wearing it!

Beautiful dress but I had to wear a sticky bra due to the cut of the dress and keyhole back. 

The model picture of this dress does NOT do it justice! The color is much brighter and the dress is more form-fitting. I wore this dress to the Carolina Cup derby and received so many compliments. The dress is comfortable and made from a soft, thick fabric. I usually wear a size 2 or 4, and decided to go with the 2 in this dress. It fit perfectly except for in the chest - I am a 32B and there was a little room left, even with a lightly padded strapless bra. At 5'7" this dress was a comfortable length for me. I would highly recommend this dress to anyone looking for something bright and figure-flattering!

I absolutely loved this dress and will probably rent it again! My only tip: I usually wear a 0 in Lilly but the way this dress cuts at the top, the 0 gave me the weird armpit roll. I chose to wear the 2 since it seemed to fit me the same way on the rest of my body. By the time of the reception the dress had stretched out, lost it's shape and looked baggy on me. I would recommend wearing the smaller size and it will loosen as the night goes on. 

I'm a curvy girl, and I would say this dress runs a little small. A little. I might have eaten more if I had a little mod breathing room. Just kidding (kind of). That said, this is a fun, sparkly little number and it was such fun to wear. The starfish are adorable! 

Go big or go home.  The dress is snug and has no give.  I was really glad I sized up.  Felt very appropriate for the occasion.

This dress was actually my backup, since my first choice didn't have a backup size available. It was cute for a short rehearsal dinner, but I wouldn't have worn it to the wedding. The fabric is much heavier than it looks. My measurements are exactly the same as a Lily Pulitzer size 8, but this was (surprisingly) snugly fitted. 

I got lots of compliments great form fitting dress to dance in. It's tighter than the model picture but the color is beautiful and the flowers are a sparkly gold. Loved it and would rent it again.

Wore for a casual day and evening out. No issues. Wore strapless bra. Compliments all day!

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner for which I was a guest. It fit perfectly!! I'm a size 2 with a small bust, so I was a little worried I'd look flat but I didn't. The back is an unsung hero. Very sexy. It was the most comfortable dress of three I rented for a destination wedding! 

I wore this for my Birthday weekend at a beach resort. It was very comfortable and not too short like other LP dresses. 

My dress arrived on time and fit like a glove! It was perfect for my homecoming and Rent the Runway saved me a lot of money. I got so many compliments and stood out from everyone else, it made my night amazing!

I'd typically wear a size 4, but I can't always tell since I have a wide upper back from Cross Fit. I'm short so it came down to my knees (not like the model pic). The stomach area isn't super fitted so you have a little room for some heavier eating (CAKE!). Overall, the detail in the dress was amazing and it was so very comfortable.  I'd recommend pasties or a strapless bra for women who have breast-fed or need to have a layer between their breast and their dress.  I loved the service too. What an amazing experience. I'm definitely using this again!

This dress is so comfortable. Loved the fit. I did not want to take it off at the end of the night. I will definitely rent this dress or another from Lily again.

I wore this for a May wedding, and received so many compliments!  Paired well with gold jewelry and white shoes. The 2 was way too small, so I was glad I had the option for the 4. 

I wore it with an off white floppy hat to a horse race and was invited to enter the best dressed contest! Got a ton of compliments and was really comfortable in it. 

Loved the dress. Historically, Lilly dresses tend to hit a little too short for my taste, but I was really happy with the length of this style.  It held in my boobs and created a great silhouette. 

I wore this to my law school's journals and Moot Court dinner in late April and it was perfect for a springtime, classy school event! Got tons of compliments. It does run true to size, but I'm pretty curvy so it was a little unforgiving in tight in hips/thighs. Still loved it and felt sexy yet classy. 

I had SO many compliments. Just for reference, I'm 5'4" and 125lbs. and this dress fit perfectly!! I would suggest a size 0 if you're looking for a tighter, body con fit.

The intricate detail of this dress makes it so much better in person. It fit perfectly and was so comfortable to dance in all night long. I received many of compliments from both guys and girls.

Wore this to a friend's wedding in Florida. Perfect dress for a  beach wedding. The color is beautiful and the embroidery is very classy. I normally wear a size 6, but was able to fit into the size 4. I have a smaller bust, so it was possible to fit into the 4. Lots of compliments on the dress, very comfortable, and would definitely rent again! Very happy with this rental! 

This dress is gorgeous and I have never received so many compliments. The color is a beautiful shade of blue, the light gold embellishments on the front add elegance. The length is perfect, the fit is flattering, the neckline was comfortable and not too tight. The material is thicker, so lines of undergarments couldn't be seen. My only complaint was that the material got wrinkled easily after sitting through a ceremony for over an hour. Luckily though, I ordered a back up size 2 that fit me well, too. I switched to the slightly tighter 2 for the rest of the evening and no one noticed. I would recommend this dress for any occasion.

Usually wear a 4 or 6, the 6 seemed to look better even though could fit in both the bigger size was more comfortable to move around in.  Well made dress.  The detail along front is cute has a bit of a glitter to it.  No one could believe I rented it!  Wore just small petals for bra and felt comfortable without true bra

Ordered the 4 and 6 they both fit, but went with the 4 because the 6 had a lot of room in the stomach. This dress is beautiful in person was comfortable all day and night... I received a ton of compliments and will definitely order this dress again!

The fit is true to size. I rented the 2&4 and ended up wearing the 4. I new I was going to be dancing at the reception and didn't want to wear something super tight. #wedding #lilly 

Was true to size probably could have gone a 2 but it was snug in my chest. 

The dress was beautiful but was definitely TTS. I wouldn't say it runs overly tiny but does fit more like an 8 (or a teen 9). 
The fabric is gorgeous and thick but not overly hot. 

Note - my dress came with the hook enclosure on top falling off so take note when receiving it! 

I rented this dress for a more casual wedding. It looked great however the material was a little thick for outside 90 degree weather. I normally wear a 6 or 8 but all that was left was a 10, and it was fine around my hips but a little too baggy in the midsection. The only issue was the clasp at the top. It wouldn't stay clasped together and I ended up having the wedding planner pin it together for me. Otherwise it was a great dress and I got a lot of compliments. 

I wore this dress to a wedding & got several compliments. It def is a thicker fabric, which doesn't have much stretch to it. It's a nice shade of light blue with pretty gold detailing. Wore a strapless bra. No problems with the hooks/zipper. Overall great rental! 

I wore this dress for my engagement photos and was very pleased with the results. However, I wished they had a size larger available because it was a little tighter than I would have liked. This was my first RTR experience and already looking forward to many more. 

I wore this to my sister's bridal shower. She had asked all of the bridesmaids to wear pastels. I loved this color especially for summer! I had two small complaints about the dress: first, the fabric was a little stiff which made it hard for me as the MOH to move around comfortably while assisting my sister. And second, the clasp at the top of the dress kept coming undone! Perhaps from too much wear...but luckily I had friendly guests who fixed me up! Besides those two things, I loved the dress and it was perfect for the party. 

Runs small. I got a size 2 which was a bit snug across the back and chest but worked out fine. There was a small issue with the clasp in the back kept popping open towards the end of the night but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Was perfect for the Cape Cod wedding I attended. Received lots of compliments. Color was beautiful. Would totally recommend!

I loved the color and gold details on this dress -- it was perfect for an outdoor summer wedding!! Fit wise, though, it seemed a bit off for my body. I don't have a large chest and the inseam running down both sides of the front kind of made my chest look pointy? Not sure how else to describe. It also fit looser on the bottom than I would've liked -- and more than other reviewers pictures seem to show. Maybe I just don't have much of a booty or hips either! :-P  The only other trouble I had was that the dresses both arrived wrinkled. It was my first time receiving the zipped dress bag rather than a box; so I'm not sure if that caused it, but something to be aware of that your dress may arrive that way! For styling, the gold detail is easy to tie in with earrings and for shoes I tried the look with heels and more casual with wedges, both worked I think!

Loved the colors and golden accents. Could have gone with both a 0 or a 2. The 0 fit slightly shorter. The material has no stretch and the zipper was uncomfortable after sitting for awhile it was scratchy on my back. I could not wear a bra with it , which I don't think was noticeable!  Over all I liked the dress and the experience!
