I wore this for a wedding that was held on the beach.  I received many compliments and was very fitting for a tropical / beachy theme.  Threw my hair in a sock bun, white wedge sandals, minimal jewelry so i didn't take away from the dress and a jean jacket for the night when it got chilly.  PERFECT & COMFORTABLE!  Loved the feel of the fabric and didn't have to worry about wrinkling.  Only issue for me is that I do not have a big chest so the top of the dress seemed to come up very high on me.  For sure would wear again and would recommend for anyone no matter your body type

At first I thought the zero was a bit too tight but after trying on the two I realized it was the better option for me. Lily does run pretty true to size. 

i ordered both the 4 and 6, but choose the 4 because it was a tighter fit at the top! perfect length, not to long or short. the fabric was light and kept me cool the whole day. honestly wish i could keep this dress 

The dress was in great condition! The material was bright and the colors looked even better in person. I ordered a 4 and a 6, but the 4 fit perfectly. The skirt was fuller than i expected, but it really works with the cut of the dress. 

The fit is true to size, a little snug in the chest area for larger busts.  The dress material is very soft, almost silky.  The petticoat gives the dress a nice shape, puffs out just the right amount.  Great dress for an outside party or wedding! Will rent again!

I ordered a 4 and a 6 because I end up in between sizes a lot. The 6 fit perfectly. It's even cuter in person than it is online! The pattern and the little bit of flare in the skirt make it really fun to be in and it's nice and lightweight, too. It broke my heart a little bit to send it back.

Rented this for my best friends parent's 50th Anniversary party. It was in a backyard so I wanted something floral and summery looking. I ordered the 10 and the 12 as my backup. The dresses shipped right to the hotel and were in their usual RTR garment bag although I did have to iron the dress before I wore it.  I slipped the 10 on first and it fit like a glove! Very flattering, feminine and simple. The beaded flowers on the waist are a nice addition as is the little bit of tulle that gives it just a bit of poof. 



It is a great fit! The A-line style is perfect for those with a small waist. I enjoyed this dress for 5 hours, while dancing in it for 3. Didn't bother me one bit and I couldn't have chosen a better dress!

It fit perfectly with a padded bra. I taped the top corners down and the dress stayed up perfectly with nothing awkwardly falling out or sticking up/out. Very comfortable!! 

I wore the dress to two events (an evening gala and wedding rehearsal dinner) and everyone loved it! The bright colors are perfect for summer occasions, and the dress was airy enough that you don't get too hot if you need to be outside. It was true to its size, although I will say if you have a wide ribcage you may want to go the next size up because by the end of the night it felt too tight around the white band. But caution that going the next size up means there's a lot of extra room in the chest area.

Pros: the color is bright, young and eye catching just like in the picture. The length is perfect for a very short person like me. The material is dreaming, so soft, lightweight and comfortable; perfect for summer. The waistband is a small detail but worth mentioning. It has some white plastic flowers attached to it, which is super cute. And the skirt has a white ruffle underlayer too (as seen in the last pic). Cons: too big at the bust, not sure if its due to the design or due to use. Im small chested (32A/B) but I wore the VS Bombshell which is  supposed to add 2 cup sizes. The bust area is too big, even with boning, I had to pull it up occasionally. It was a beautiful dress regardless, I cant even tell if it was used just by looking. Would recommend. 

I rented this lily dress to wear to the kentucky derby and it was perfect! It worked with my hat and I got so many compliments. I even saw 2 other women wearing the same dress. Highly recommend. 

The 0 fit well but it was tight in the chest, while the 2 was a little too big in the chest. I ended up wearing the 2, but overall, I loved it. It was very pretty, and perfect for Fox Fields! 

Ordered the 0 and 2 and ended up wearing the 2 since the 0 was a little tight in the bust (the fabric doesn't have much give).  

I had ordered a size 0 and 2 because with every dress type it varies and I ended up wearing the 0 and it was a little loose at the top but for the most part it stayed up and I got a lot of compliments! Very bright and summery!

I loved the beaded belt on this printed Lilly. This dress is very lightweight - perfect for those warm summer days! You could wear this to brunch or to a outdoor summer party!

Dress fits true to size, but is bigger in the bust than most 4's are. Perfect for our Easter outing!

The cut of the is dress was perfect for my hourglass/pear figure. It accentuated all the right curves and the details at the waist highlighted that part of my figure. It stayed up pretty well though the night. The print is so cute and the colors are awesome for summer, bright and fun without being too loud. The material was light and flowy. I wore it to an outdoor wedding when it was 87 degrees and it kept me pretty cool. The only downside was the petticoat underneath sometimes showed while sitting so it had to be frequently adjusted. I would recommend! 

Rented this for Easter - wish I had ordered the 2 but the 4 was ok.  Lightweight fabric was perfect for hot day.  Dress had some wear in beading area and staining in skirt area, but otherwise I would rent again.

Beautiful dress with bright and fun colors, making it a perfect choice for an outdoor springtime event. I found the dress to be rather large around the bust and it wouldn't stay up...almost didn't wear it (was so disappointed) but several pieces of double-sided tape saved the day! This was the first Lily dress I've ever worn, so I wasn't sure what size to choose. Could have definitely used a smaller size, but made it work! 

I wore this for a luau themed event. It was incredibly comfortable and very flattering. 

The fit was incredible and I loved the colors. It was perfect for my trip to Hawaii 

Definitely go up one size from your normal for your back-up dress. Very cute and a great length for me

The dress was a bit big in the chest area and slipped down.  But it looked beautiful. 

Boning was falling out a bit was only complaint

A tad bit tight but the bodice is fitted.  I didn't try on the larger size which might have been more comfortable as the night wore on.  Fun dress and everyone loved it.

The plastic on the "belt" area looks a little cheap, otherwise it's a great dress and I was the only one that seemed to notice the plastic.

Dress was a little big in the bust but not too big that I couldn't wear it. Great fit only thing missing was pockets. 

Fit good except in the chest I needed bigger boobs to fill it in but that is what padded bras are for! Such a fun dress 

I purchased this dress at the end of season sale. I read through all the reviews to find my sizing. I am 5'-2" and about 125 lbs. I bought the size 4 and it fits perfectly. I have fairly wide hips and the shape of the dress flatters me. I am normally a size 6, esp in retail Lilly but the size 4 works for me. The one thing I wish I knew about the dress in advance,  the material is more silky than the standard cotton I'm used to from Lilly dresses. It's rather flowy and thinner than expected.

I rented this dress for a Kentucky Derby party. It was perfect. The pastel colors compliment almost any hat. It dress was a little big in the top and I ended up having to safety pin it up. Also, when sitting down, it was difficult to keep the fabric underneath hidden. I recommend this dress for a casual wedding or summer party.

This is a typical Lilly dress; great quality, bright colors, and flattering shape.  I was pleasantly surprised how well it stayed up as I usually have issues with strapless dresses falling down.  Not sure if it was due to the care of the dress or if Lilly has changed their fabric over the years, but it was much softer and silkier than newer Lilly's.  When considering sizing, base your selection off of the waist.  I could have worn either the 10 or the 12, but the waist fit better in the 10.  I have a significantly large chest and it wasn't an issue with this dress.  The hips aren't fitted so that should be the last measurement considered.
