This dress was beautiful for a formal wedding!! I am usually a size 4, I wore the 6R. Everything fit nicely, but I still had a bit of fabric in the midriff area. Also they were sold out of the 6 Long so it was a bit short on me since im 5’10”. Very comfortable. I also am an A cup and it fit me perfectly, so a warning to those who have larger. 

Lovvvved this dress. Initially ordered the 4 and found it too big so I ordered the 2 and that fit other than being a little long (as expected) but was still wearable with heels. Had a great time wearing it to a wedding, so I bought it! Great staple to have for future formal events. Plus now I can get it hemmed. :)

I’m typically a size 2 or 4 so I’m glad I listened to the reviews and ordered a 4 and 6. The 6 fit perfectly! I received a lot of compliments. The dress was comfortable and the cutouts give it the right amount of edge.

This dress fits amazing and was very comfortable for an evening of great food, and celebrating a wonderful cause. I wore it with black heels on a lawn and found that it didn’t drag and didn’t wrinkle.

I recommend sizing up by one size. I found the size 4 fit much more comfortable and wore a strapless bra.

I loved the cutouts and the front slit was just the right height. There was no stretch at all though. I'm normally at 2, got a 4 as a backup size and probably could've used a 6. I'm 5'6" and wore 3" heels and the length was just right. GORGEOUS color! Definitely recommend, but size up, for sure!

Originally was worried the 0 would be too tight but it was a perfect fit, I'm 5'2 and this would've been too long on me without heels but it was just the right length with them on. Fabric is thick but comfortable.

Dress looked amazing. Lots of compliments. Wore the 10L. The 12 was not available which I probably would have worn if it had been available. The 10 was a little tight but material was nice and thick. No need for a bra. The long was perfect- I am 5’8 and wore 2-3 inch heels 

This dress exceeded my expectations. I got so many compliments on it at the wedding. It fit perfectly, TTS. Note, a normal bra didn’t work and my strapless bra didn’t work either bc of the side cutouts.

I loved this dress and got a lot of compliments on it. The cutouts add a formal-yet-sexy feature. The fabric is thick and high-quality, and I didn't need to wear a bra. I was between the 10 and the 12--my friends suggested the 10, but I think I was more comfortable in the 12. So I'm not sure if it runs small or I'm more confident with it a little looser! The straps were a little longer than I needed, but it fit well overall!

I have a larger chest and the smaller size held me in perfect! Also would suggest getting long if you are above 5’6”, the 2L sucked me in and was the perfect length! 

The cutouts of the dress are sexy enough to really make this one stand out. True to size.

This dress was flattering and fit well. I wore the 10L because 8R was too short for me (I’m 5’10”). I would have probably worn the 8 if it was longer. It still fit great though and was comfortable to dance in. I received a lot of compliments. 
The dress quality was ok, not as nice as others I’ve rented but once on, it looked great! 

Ran a Gala in this dress, it looked beautiful, but comfortable enough to run around in for 10 hours. Great for small-busted peeps, usually dresses like this would be all gappy for me.

Could not wear. Wish I had gone a size up. 

Loved this dress for a black tie wedding. I am 5'7" so figured I'd need the long version with heels but that proved to be WAY too long so I had to order the 0R backup size. 2R would have fit a little more comfortably but it was unavailable. 

Great dress, quality thicker material. I sized up according to reviews. I'm 5'8" 145 lbs 36B. The size 10 long was perfect. A little loose in the bust area. Hard to wear a regular bra without it showing. Hips fit perfect, if it was my personal dress I would have taken the bust in a little but it still worked great. 

I’m normally a 2 but went with the 4 after reading reviews and it fit like a glove!  Received so many compliments and so easy to dance in

I might buy this dress! Super flattering fit, although it definitely runs small. I am a size 0 across the board and this barely fit me. The 2R would’ve been perfect. I’m 5’7” and then length was great with a medium heel.

I ordered one size up according to other reviews and it fit really well. I’m just under 5’8” and the regular length was perfect. Comfortable dress and beautiful color! 

The dress was super flattering. I usually wear a 4 and the 6 fit better, it’s probably a little snug in the midsection but sucks you in nice and feels very sleek and sexy! Very comfortable for sitting, dancing, and the cutouts were a sexy little touch. 

Would have been much better one size up but unfortunately Rtr didn’t have the size up available so I took the 6. It was definitely tight. Beautiful color and fit. Many compliments. 

This dress is incredible. Hugs all the right places-- yet extremely comfortable. Dance floors beware! If you order this dress though... size UP. Seriously. I almost didn't follow that advice from fellow Rent-the-Runwayers, but I'm SO glad I did. I'm consistently a 4/6 in everything-- but ordered a 6 with an 8 for a back up size bc of other reviewers. SO glad. I would have been out of luck. I wore the 8 to the black tie wedding-- fit beautifully & made me feel great all night!

This dress was absolutely perfect. The fit was amazing, the fabric was high quality, the straps/neckline were perfect for my small A-cup chest, the cutouts and slit made me feel sexy while still classy at a wedding, and the length was perfect. If I went to formal events all the time I'd buy this dress.

This dress was killer! It was very comfortable, just enough stretch to material so that you could move but not so much you felt like it outlined every detail of your body. The material is a medium heavy thickness so it was a bit hot in the beginning of the night in summer. The length was perfect with 4” heels for me. Slit was a perfect amount of fun for me. I say it runs true to size. 

Nice dress. It was my second choice but I ultimately went with a different dress. This one was too small but I really liked it. The cutouts were flattering, and it was a very "constructed" fit. Let like wearing spanx. If I went a size up I get it would fit perfectly. 

This dress really didn't fit well. I received a 4L and 6L, and though the dress was technically long enough (I'm wearing the 6L with 3" heels in the photo), it seemed that all the length had been added to the skirt and the torso hadn't been made taller at all. The result was that the waist and hips of the dress hit me too high up, causing a lot of extra fabric at my back and not enough fabric around my hips. Letting the straps fall off my shoulders so the dress dropped an inch resulted in a fabulous fit for my lower body, but set the bust too low (and it's obviously unwearable without straps). I don't have a long torso- all my height is in my legs, so I really think this dress is unlikely to fit anyone tall enough to need the long length. On top of the length issues, I also found this dress to run small- I would have needed a 6 instead of my usual 2/4. Luckily, my backup dress fit great and I wore that instead.

I rented this dress for a military ball and it was perfect! It does run small, I'm usually a 0 and I had to wear the 2. 

I'm 5'5 140.lb  I wore 6L. It was tight but it worked. I received a lot of compliments 

Loved the fabric and color. The cutouts and slit were in the perfect spots. It fit perfectly except the straps were slightly too long and slipped off my shoulders if I didn’t wear a bra with it!

Definitely listen to the reviews about this dress running small - I have another Lively dress in a size 6 that fits perfectly, but even the size 8 that I got as a backup here was very tight! That said, it was shockingly flattering for how form fitting it was because the fabric is the perfect weight. This was an awesome option for a black tie optional wedding because it felt formal without being too over the top and the color is so fun!

Wore this dress to a gala. It was okay, but I wouldn't rent again. The straps were too loose and kept falling off, but it was too tight in the hips. I also had to wear my highest heels for the length to work. Nice, heavy material though.  

I usually run between a 6-8 and think a 6 would have been too small.   It was true to size 

High quality fabric, no bra needed even with cutouts, made my décolletage look great! Straps didn't move all night. Zipper stuck a little bit.  Column dress so tight all the way down, I wore high waisted spanx. Cutouts placed perfectly, and color was gorgeous, more of a royal than navy blue. I marked true to size but it was maybe slightly small, most dresses I wear a 6. Great dress, great pricing. Easy to wear.
