Wore it to a wedding in Puerto Rico and WOW this dress is show stopper. The bride loved it and the complements were abundant! It definitely has an interesting fit though and boob tape and/or dress tape is a must to keep your ladies in. After dinner it was a tad tight on my mid section. I wore 2.5-3" wedges and it worked out well! I'm definitely pear athletic shape, so lots of room for the booty, but if I had a bigger chest not sure this dress would have worked out!! Loved this dress so much, will definitely consider buying it in the future! 

I loved this dress! I’m 5’6-5’7” and 130 pounds. The size 12 (UK) fit great. The 10 was a bit too tight at the band. I used boob tape to hold the sides just right. So many compliments! This is a comfortable and fun dress. 

Felt fabulous and got tons of compliments! The colors were so vibrant, it definitely was a head turner. Even at a wedding with quite a few pleat style dresses, the print really stood out. Echoing what other reviews said, the waist band was too snug and I went with my backup size 8. A little extra fabric to work with up top, but was much more comfortable. Tall girl friendly! Had some initial concerns that it might be too revealing, but you can really adjust to your comfort level with tape. Sexy in the classiest way, and if you’re ready to spend 30ish min figuring out placement, you won’t regret this one!

I loved the color and the sleeves! I have broad shoulders, and am D cup. I felt it covered my chest enough (I did not wear a bra and my boobs stayed in place lol). And was flattering with my waist. SIZE UP for the waist as everyone said! I almost didn’t listen but am relieved I did!

I dropped jaws in this dress!!! Prepare to have all eyes on you when you wear this! I sized up to accommodate the band around the torso. I’m typically an 8 and I wore a 14. Other than that, no notes. It’s gorgeous!

After reading many reviews to size up, I also chose to size up. I typically wear a 6 but opted for a 10. The dress is tight around the ribs so you want ample room to breathe! Make sure you get tape as well to hold ladies in place. 

This dress is a 10/10 - show stopper. I wore this for my 31st birthday dinner party and got so many compliments. I felt incredibly beautiful and vibrant! 

I'm 5'2" so I had to use a lot of fabric tape (took an hour), but I have never gotten do many compliments on a dress! Loved it

The one thing I wish I knew I needed was double sided tape! I wore this as one of my outfits in my my birthday photo shoot. It as comfortable. We also used a large  safety pin near the top of the back of the neck. But it was the perfecgt lenth and perfect fit around the waist. 

I'm almost 5'6, 171 pounds. 34 DD.  You will need either a stick bra or boob tape + pasties with this dress. If I were wearing this at an event other than the photoshoot, If you are a best chesty, you'll need double-sided tape. But I don't regret renting it and it was the perfect final touch for the look I was going for!

Wore this to my friend's wedding and got so many compliments. Bold neckline and lots of color. Used boob tape and fashion tape and I danced all night without any issues. As others have mentioned, the waist is snug, so size up if you're in-between sizes. 

Great dress! I took the advice of the other reviews and used toupee tape to keep it in place. It was a little uncomfortable trying to make sure I wasn’t putting on a show for people, but I still loved the dress anyway:)

There was not a single woman at the wedding of 150 guests that did not compliment me in this dress! I would 100% recommend this! The bride was in love with it as well! 

Loved this dress so much. The colors were beautiful and I really love the style. The "straps" were way too long for me so I adjusted with a safety pin along with fashion tape along the front so it wouldn't open. Otherwise everything was amazing! 

Beautiful and comfortable dress. I am 5’2” and it was still a bit long tho, even in my tallest heels.  Since wore it at home, that wasn’t a huge problem but would have been hard to wear out. Was still sad to send it back! Needed some boob tape but otherwise fit great.

Comfortable and sexy. I’m a busty girl and I was fine all night! You NEED fashion tape, it’s non negotiable. But I felt amazing. Danced all night 

Another spectacular cut dress- with all open sides- nothing was showing or falling out, even didn't need  fashion tape, don't wrinkles ( great tropical- date dress!!!

This dress is an absolutely stunning! Must have been my favorite all time rental. Be prepared to received tons of compliments. The fabric flows so elegantly and the cut is amazing. Pretty tight in the chest but I was able to zip it up. Used some fashion tape and felt really comfortable.

The colors are just gorgeous in this dress. I sized up one and was happy I did, if you have a wider rib cage, the middle section can be tight. I probably didn’t need to but it was definitely more comfortable. Will need to tape in some areas to avoid side boob, but this dress was so beautiful. Compliments all night!

Beautiful dress. Great quality. The waist band was a little snug, I could have probably gone a size up. I also pinned the straps in the center a little! 

The AU size 8 fit me perfectly. Easy to get into, the waist was secure but had no stretch. Like another review suggested, I did fold under 4 pleats of the shoulder fabric as they went too far over my shoulders for my liking. The deep V neckline and open sides were the standout features of this dress. I did use garment tape on the sides and front bust area just for extra security. I wore 2.8" heels, and the length fell beautifully just above the floor. The fabric felt fluid and moved so elegantly while dancing. The pleats also stayed intact, which was a huge plus because after wear and cleaning, some other Lidee dresses tend to lose their pleating. I rented four dresses, and this was by far the best overall choice for a formal wedding. 

The dress was perfect for a spring wedding - received so many compliments! The dress needs double side fashion tape to stay in place but other than that it was great!

This is by far THE BEST dress I've ever worn.  It's beautiful, elegant, flattering - just rent it!  FYI, fashion tape is a must.

I felt like a goddess when I put this on! I received so many compliments when wearing it. It fit me perfectly, but I have a freakishly small waist to the rest of my body so the other warnings about the waist being too small is probably accurate.

I've never gotten more compliments on a dress! Absolutely loved this for a black tie wedding in Florida. With a little fashion tape there were no mishaps and it stayed in place all night.

I’m usually a size 4 and am very small in the waist and upper body and this was very tight across my ribs which is unusual so I would definitely beware how this dress is made! I  ordered both the size 4 & 6 in US sizing and went with the 4. The bottom half of the dress is pretty huge! It’s supposed to be flowy of course but this was extra big material wise and long. Although I’m not very tall, I still had to wear 4 inches heels. 
Overall it still looked beautiful! I absolutely love the colors and I was complimented all night long! 
Requires boob tape and fashion tape 100%! I don’t recommend for summer in 85% Texas humidity, hahah!

Ended up wearing another dress as this one was a bit too formal but would def rent again! Normally a size 4 and the 8 fit me perfectly. I think the sleeves look better tucked a little. I'm a C cup and didn't feel like I needed any fashion tape to hold me in. 

trust the sizing suggestions. I normally wear a 4 but I wore a 12

I rented this for a northern lights themed gala, and everyone said it was spot on for the theme! Def need tape to prevent wardrobe malfunctions, but it stayed put all night. I loved it! 

This dress was incredible! The deep plunge was easy to adjust depending on how much you wanted to show and stayed put all night, even with heavy dancing. I’m normally a 4-6 but wore the 8 because like others, the waistband fits snug. Overall incredible dress! 

Size down! Rented a 12 and 14 and went for the 12- the tight waist and shoulder fit makes it so much better. My 3rd time renting from this designer- so good.

As all other reviews, def have to tape yourself in. I didn’t actually get to wear it, but this was my choice for a beachfront country club wedding. It fits perfectly at natural waist and is flowy and comfortable and gorgeous colors. A low heel would work for me, and it’s just snug enough at the waist which is where the zipper ends, hence I sized up for comfort. Will absolutely order this ASAP

This dress was gorgeous! Agree that sizing is tricky and you will need LOTS of fashion tape. That being said it stayed in place through plenty of dancing and for many compliments. 

Wore to a pride month gala. Very cute. A little long. I taped each shoulder together underneath because the sleeves were a little long/oddly shaped otherwise. Very cute!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. The colors and the fabric are amazing. It’s bare, though, especially along the sides, so be ready to do some taping to keep everything covered. 

As many have mentioned, the straps are very long so my husband had to pin in the back. The effort was worth it. I felt so comfortable and received so many compliments throughout the night. Truly a stunner!

Wore to a summer wedding and the free flowing style kept me cool the whole time. The colors are gorgeous, and the style is perfect. Make sure you have dress tape, it’s 100% needed! The band is a bit tight so if you are In between sizes definitely size up.

I get all the comments about the waistband running small; I got the 8 and the 10 just in case and wound up wearing the 8, which fit comfortably at first but felt tight after dinner 😅 dress was also just a touch long on me; I’m 5’3 and with 3” heels had to watch out for the occasional person stepping on my dress. wore pasties just in case, and used a small piece of fashion tape on each side to keep me feeling secure even through a night of dancing full-out. truly one of my all-time favorite rentals; bury me in this dress plz.

This dress is absolutely stunning! I had two qualms, the zipper is incredibly difficult to get up, and the top is a bit tight. I wondered if I could have sized up again! I made the size 10 work for me but man you also need tape to make sure you don’t have an accidental slip of a nipple! I have rented so many dresses from RTR, I loved this one but it was definitely a one time use for me. 

I sized up based on other reviews and it still wasn't enough for the skirt zipper to fit. I ended up leaving the zipper slightly open and you couldn't tell. Also taped the HELL out of the dress... no way to wear it without tape! But soooo many compliments and soo flattering even with an odd fit

This dress is STUNNING. I wore it to a northern lights themed gala and got so many compliments. However, the waistband was extremely snug. I sized up to accommodate which led to too much fabric on top, I did fold in the sleeves and use lots of fashion tape.

This dress is so beautiful but the loose top doesn't make sense. I didn't end up wearing it to a gala because the top is basically 2 loose pieces of material that would require a lot of tape to stay in place (so no dancing). I thought the waist was true to size and fit.

Absolutely loved the way I looked and felt in this dress. I wore it to a kaleidoscope themed fundraising gala. It fit the bill and I was complimented all night. As others have said, be sure to have some body tape on hand to secure the sides and avoid a nip slip. 

HOWEVER, the top portion of the dress is held up by a tiny strap that connects the two panels of fabric behind the neck and is brought together at the waistband which hit me about 3 inches under the bust and about 2 inches above my natural waist. The closure on the back is designed as a zipper only and therefore ensures a lot of stress. I had zipper issues (reported to rent the runway), but I do think this is a design issue. A hook and eye closure would be more fitting given the stress of the waistband. 

Looks really great but definitely need to tape down the top!!

I loved the colors of this dress, but you really need to hold it in place since it’s low cut. 

This dress was perfect but gets four stars because it was waaaayyy to big up top and required a lot of fashion tape

As other’s have said this one is really tight on the waist. I originally went with my normal size, the top looked awesome, but the waist was a bit too tight. The next size up (this one), fit in waist, but the top was too big and not as cute. Didn’t end up wearing. 

This dress is absolutely stunning. The rich blue and purple colors were even more beautiful in person, and it flowed elegantly with every step I took. I received compliments on it all night! However, the sizing is very difficult to work with.
If you have a tall, "Barbie" figure—meaning a very tiny waist and a full chest—this dress will likely fit you perfectly. For everyone else, be prepared to do some serious work. As a standard size 4, I had to size up to a 10 just to fit the extremely tight waistband. This meant the top was far too big, and I had to use a ton of fashion tape to keep it in place. Even with that, I never felt fully secure and ended up wearing a dark blue lace bra to feel confident that I wouldn't expose myself accidentally.
While it looked amazing in the end, if you're not comfortable with the idea of a tricky fit, lots of fashion tape, and a revealing style, you might want to consider other options.

It definitely requires a few strips of fashion tape on the sides and the upper back if you’re like me and can’t fill it out but it wasn’t too much of a headache and the tape stayed on for almost the whole night! 

I typically wear size 4  but this dress I wore size 10. Don’t forget fashion tape and sticky cups. This dress is gorgeous and comfortable but one must be ultra confident showing a lot of skin :)  there is no give at the waist so size up you will thank me later :) 

I loved this dress so much & got sooo many compliments. I’m normally a 6, so I ordered the sizes 10 & 12 & ended up going with the 12! The 10 was a little tight in the waist band & there isn’t any stretch to the fabric, so the 12 was more comfy for me. I didn’t use any boob tape, but probably should have — I had to hold the top of the dress while dancing & it gaped a little when sitting. Overall I am obsessed with the colors & style of this dress & wish I could wear it a million times! 

By the time I sized up enough for the band to fit, the top was so loose even fashion tape was insufficient. (38b/size 10) I couldn't wear it. Some other ladies at the event were rocking the dress though. Size up! 

Loved this dress! Pleating and colors are very fun. Used a small amount of fashion tape on the neckline and it stayed put all night without issues. Would rent again. Fits a US size 0 well. 

I loved this dress from the moment it arrived. The online pictures truly don't do it justice. Glad I read the reviews here about sizing! Before renting, I found a sizing chart for L'Idee and determined I would be between an 8 or 10. The 10 was slightly loose around the ribcage for me, whereas the 8 was on the snug side (my underbust is 29"). Ended up choosing to wear the 8. Barely managed to get away with the length of the dress wearing 4" heels with no platform. As others have said, tape is definitely needed! 10/10 recommend, would wear again, would buy it if I knew I had more events to wear it to. 

Zipper is very difficult and waste band has zero give. 

Like other reviewers said, the waist band is really tight, I don't know how but I couldn't zip up the size 6, but the size 8, while it zipped, was still relatively tight but wearable and the chest WAS big! I needed like 10 strips of fashion tape for my boobs to not literally fall out, but otherwise, wore nipple covers and once I got the tape organized, it was great. Felt super hot and got tons of compliments
