This was a great rent for everyday use. The vest is very warm so great for use on cold days. The folds of the fur lining are form flattering so even though the vest itself does not have a super feminine shape, the folds create a feminine shape. 

Wish I could have worn more, but Texas weather didn’t cooperate. Think I could have sized down.

This vest isn't meant to be fitted. The medium worked well for me and I am curvy in the hips and mid section. I paired it with the Viera Sweater and the Joe's Jeans Charlie High Rise Skinny Jeans and loved the entire outfit!  I wore it on a few different occasions. 

I wore this to a kids' birthday party. It is casual and comfortable but with some added flare. I'm usually a M and easily wore the S, so size down. I could still zip it closed but wore it open. 

This is a very cozy vest. I followed advice of other reviewers and sized down, planning to wear it unzipped. There is a lot of shearling fabric, but not bad if you wear unzipped 

FIT: I am usually a medium in Lauren Ralph Lauren items, but after reading the reviews, I ordered the small. I feel I made the right choice, as it is true that if you zip up the vest, there is some added bulk around the mid-section. Note, I could *just* zip it; it was a tad snug- doable. Still, I didn't think it looked as good zipped, so ended up wearing it open which resulted in a relaxed, chic vibe...so much the better!
STYLING: I wore this piece multiple times: 
1. Obviously, it was right on trend for wearing with jeans around the mountain lodge and to town (we were in Blowing Rock, NC) for shopping and lunch on a chilly 50 degree afternoon. Although the vest is faux shearling, it is surprisingly warm.
2. I also ended up wearing it over a geometric print 3/4 sleeve dress (burgundy, cream and black colors) with black tights and and booties to a backyard engagement party (also 50-60 degrees) and got even more compliments! Nice to have the zip pockets to keep my phone in also. 
Overall: The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars or consider buying it was because I feel I would never wear the small zipped and if I went up a size to medium just so I could zip it comfortably then the added bulk would be an issue. All that being said, that is why this was a winner of a RENTAL! It looked great, garnered compliments, but at the end of the day I could send it back. Gotta love that! And... I would rent it again!

Loved how warm and comfy this vest was! Great neutral to go with anything. Only negative was that it's a little extra puffy through the mid section.

Warm than I thought it would be, perfect for winter

I usually wear L, but this made me look like I was 6 months pregnant. There was no shape and I think a medium would have been better. Didn’t wear it out 

The color is great and is supper cozy! I wear it many times, also with a black dress! Was perfect for the start of the winter in SF

Fit is true to size. It is very comfortable and warm!

I could fit a Joey in the extra fabric around the belly! Very soft, pliable, and comfortable... but I have plenty of hoodie sweatshirts for that. I was looking for a cute piece of outerwear that also gave some style and this isn't really doing the trick. If I DID want to rent again, I would go down from an M to a S

Super comfy and warm but very thick. The zipper pockets are awesome.

I loved this shearling vest. I wore it multiple times on a ski trip (for apres ski) in Vail, and as outerwear during the temperate Texas winter. The zippered pockets were great, and the lining was really comfortable. Very chic.

Easy transitional piece fall / winter, winter / spring 

Good fit.  I am between a 4 and 6 and the small worked fine.  The zipper didn't work at the bottom but since I didn't close it, it was not an issue.  It was cozy and looked great with jeans and long sleeve shirt.  

I kept this for a long time. It was very versatile, comfortable and unique vest for every day wear. It was also great to just throw inside the house when it was a little chilly. 

Love this vest fits great and very warm will rent it again 

Rented this for a trip to Alaska in the fall. It was a good layer, warm and consistent with the location. AND it does have all that bulk in the middle with the lining. Unavoidable. Left it unzipped and it was fine. Packed on the bulk when I zipped it. Just be aware if you're going for a sleeker look.

Previous reviewers noted the extra bulk in the front of this vest and they were so right. I wore this once but was so distracted by how bulky it felt that I never wore it again. Too bad. It has such potential!

The item was bulkier than expected. The larger arm holes made it almost impossible to to work a 5'3' frame. Could not wear. It was returned.

Wore this piece twice and wanted to hold to it because it really was a great winter staple piece. Inside is extremely warm and I was able to wear this under a puffer coat! LOVE AND WILL RENT AGAIN

Loved this item! Loved that it had zippered pockets, loved that it was super warm and with shearling all on the inside, and love that it covered my chest when fully closed! It was perfect for me when I was out and about Christmas shopping and didn't want to freeze but yet didn't want to carry a massive coat with me. 

Paired with jeans or leggings, this is perfect piece for everyday wear.  Warm and cozy feel.

Cut for a taller woman - I'm 5'2" and it was way too long- super cozy though
