No zippers.  Completely elastic.  Just slide it on! Awesome.  Have rented it for so long I'm buying it.

Even though my husband thought I had a major static problem, I loved this look!  The folds stayed nicely in their place all day long.  The fit is snug and then slightly stretchy over time.  Another plus with this is that there are no zippers, snaps or buttons.  Pull on and go!  I may have to buy this baby.

A million compliments later, I just may purchase this skirt. Others have mentioned the ruffle being too large, but for me, at 5'11" it's the perfect detail. Great for work and for heading out for Champagne and oysters after!

This is a fun yet professional skirt. I called it "architectural" when trying it on. Very flattering!

Liked- not loved. The folds are cool & unique and on trend, but they do add volume and so aren't amazingly flattering. 

High waisted fit, wore with tucked blouse for work conference. Very comfortable, ended up purchasing, sleek and stylish.

Skirt is pretty and flattering. It's also comfy. 

I do not have the body for your average pencil skirt, so I tried this to see, once and for all, if I could pull off a pencil skirt. I loved it so much I ended up buying it! This skirt is perfect for my job as an event manager, as I need to look put together but still be able to move quickly.

Elastic waistband made this skirt fit like a dream. It sits at your natural waist. I wore it to work with a more fitted top. I got so many compliments on it, including someone asking if I had lost weight. It's clearly super flattering. The sculpted fabric give the skirt more interest than a regular pencil skirt.

This skirt feels great on.  It is fitted and the material is very soft and stretchy.

The fabric on this skirt as on the dresses  by this designer is fab. It's thick, crisp and comfortable. The ruching on the side of the skirt makes it a standout piece. Don't pair it with a long jacket since it will poof out. This skirt can dress up and dress down. Great piece for any occasion. 

This fit a bit loose in the back and waist, but not noticeably so. It completed my outfit and made it look more polished and fashion forward. 

Super fun! I'm usually a 4 and the 44 fit a little big but I still loved it. Sexy and dramatic. Perfect for work or a date!

It fits like brand standard though a little bit shorter than the dress styles. It was comfortable and a little bit sexy for work. 

I love this designer; just slip it on and it looks great. I usually wear a 10/44, but I think a 42 would be better. The ruffle goes all the way up, so you need a top that tucks in or otherwise doesn't interfere with the line of the skirt

Amazing fabric and I wish Rent the Runway purchased the pants from this label but this skirt was large for me, it kept falling down to my hips and I kept on trying to keep it up. Otherwise, it is amazing!

I loved that it pulls on and no zipper to interrupt the lines

Love this brand and the dresses always fit me very well and true to size. This skirt was surprisingly big...as in huge in the waist. Given the super stretch this fabric has, I figure I'll go down a couple sizes and should be great! Love the style...

I love the idea of this architectural skirt, but the reality was it was just too small to wear professionally. 

Love a pencil skirt and this one did not disappoint.  It went great with tucked in blouse.  Thick enough for winter and did not get stuck on tights.  

I found it difficult to find a top that I really liked with this skirt to make it really shine. Love this fabric and this brand though.

I would've liked this dress better without the ruffle. I love the fabric, I love the stretch, I loved the length. The ruffle was a little too much for work.

Quality was great! Had a nice shine, so you could dress it up or down. Very fitted with some stretch. Just not my style. The wavy detail didn't do it for me.  

Gorgeous fabric. SO comfortable to wear. I did get a ton of compliments wearing to work but the beautiful architectural detail of this skirt just doesn't translate as well IRL as in pictures. Another review described it looking like "static cling" and I'd say that is spot on. I would definitely consider renting another skirt from this designer because I loved the quality and feel.
