I like this style that looks like more than one piece. Yes, the neck opening is small, but not impossible so. Has pockets.

Super cute dress.  A little tight getting over your head and on your neck.  Also ties at wrist get wet when washing your hands.  Fun for the night but wouldn’t buy.

Oh my goodness this dress!!! I did have the sleeves tied all day, but I took this photo right before taking it off for the night and didn't have anyone to tie them for me (just saying that for reference). The ties made it even more spectacular! I was a little concerned the style of the dress would make me look large; however, I was so wrong!! The top is sweatshirt material (nice quality) and the bottom is satin. As others have mentioned, the neck hole is small but with a dress this stunning, it doesn't even matter!! Compliments galore!! RENT THE DRESS!!

I love a dress that makes you feel put together all by itself. I copied another user’s outfit (dress +sheer black tights + black boots) and was ready for a fall day. Also it’s true about the neck hole being tight!!

I loved this dress for work! It’s simple but such a fun and unique piece! It  easy to throw on and pair with different shoes. Fit great and very comfortable. Tall friendly!

Top is thicker sweater material so likely better for a cooler fall day or winter with tights.  Hangs nicely and doesn’t wrinkle.  Ties on wrists are a fun touch. 

As a clothing designer, I really enjoyed the mix of fabrics. Perfect work outfit especially if you work in an office where the AC is not in your favor (too cold). Warm on the top and flowy on the bottom. I really enjoyed this piece. I will definitely order again.

Incredibly small at the neck. Had a hard time pulling it over my head. Other than that it fit well. 

Wore to work with tights & boots, lots of compliments, loved it! 

Was so comfortable as it’s a sweatshirt ontop and a flirty skirt on the bottom. Loved the print. Easy fit 

This isn’t my usual style, but I liked it so much, I ended up keeping it into my next rental cycle because I didn’t get a chance to wear it with a warming up of the temperature where I live. The material on top is a sweatshirt, on the bottom, a more structured fabric, I love the pockets!  I have not worn, officially, only tried on. But I didn’t want to forget to write a review for it.

I sized up because I find La DoubleJ runs small. L wasn’t available and so I did XL which worked because of the style and I appreciated the length (I’m 5’7”). In person the top is a bit causal because it’s sweatshirt material, but I still really liked this overall. Perfect for a nice dinner with colleagues on a work trip. I would say size up 1 from your regular size.

Take the review seriously – that neck opening is quite small. But I loved wearing this and it was perfect for a work conference in Chicago where it was just cold enough to want to have a sweater but also warm enough to wear a skirt. If I lived in a cold or climate, I probably would’ve kept this. I also might’ve tried it in one size smaller, but I worry about that neck opening! Definitely put it on before you do your makeup! 

It's an intentionally boxy fit with a dropped waist. The top portion is a heavy weight cotton sweatshirt; the neck is a wee bit tight to get on. The skirt is a great quality polyester with pockets. I loved the style, but wish it were two inches longer throughout. The drop waist should be lower on the hips and sleeves came up shorter on me than the model.

The dress is super cute but I didn’t like the square fit. 
I am returning without wearing it. 

Cute idea, but I think this silhouette works better on someone taller and thinner. I wore it a few times for casual activities, and it was fine but not the most flattering. The sweatshirt is THICK so it's good for seasonal transition, but wouldn't recommend for over 75 degrees. 

Neck runs small so put it on before makeup. Shoulders and length run a bit big 

Overall I liked this dress! The top is definitely like a French terry mock neck sweatshirt so it leans more casual, long enough for work, definitely do your makeup after putting this on because the neck is so tight that pulling it on over your head is a challenge. This dress is fairly boxy and wasn’t the most flattering on my frame, but the small was perfect and good for a tall girl. The colors in the skirt are good for fall! I styled with over the knee boots and loved it. 

Thicker material on top. Flowy skirt light and airy.  

Super cute but a little tight in the shoulders and chest for my broad shoulders girlies 

Loved the color combination and mixed textures of the materials between the satin and knit. It was a great casual dress for the office that took little effort to make appear nicer than it was.

Got so many compliments on this. It's such a pretty and unique dress. I will definitely rent it again.

Very cute on bit - BUT kinda difficult to put on...it almost didn't fit over my head and my head isn't big! :-/

I also rented this dress in Navy blue - I love the combo of sporty and chic! 

Fit true to size. I loved this dress. The top is a true sweatshirt but the skirt makes it so fun 

The shoulders on this were odd so I could not wear but it was very colorful!

So cute and flirty, love the arm ties (though they can drag/untie a bit throughout the day). Several compliments!

This dress was great. A little snug in the neck and the skirt is a little clingy.  I loved all of the details on the sleeves and got a ton of compliments on this one.

Beautiful sweatshirt, flowy flower dress. Loved details flower matching ties on sleeves, had to cuff sleeves as it was long. Also neck was tight. Rent away as it's a fun fall dress! 

This dress was cozy and unique! The ties on the cuffs brought it up to a solid 5 stars! Will definitely rent again!

Ribbons on sleeves could get annoying for eating and if you're active, but loved them all the same.

Comfy, not too short, got a complement from someone who 'loved my whole style". The bottom part is lightweight and can fly up in the wind if you're not careful, but it's not too bad. 

Wore it for the the Kentucky derby with a yellow fascinater
