Dress was true to size but I have a large bust for my size and the next size up was too big everywhere else.  Received so many compliments.

I loved the dress. It looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect for my event. The only thing that I didn't like was that the zipper was on the side. It was hard for me to get it zipped. It's a simple but formal dress. The height was just below my knees which was perfect. This was my first dress with rent the runway and I'll definitely be doing it again!

Super cute. Fit perfectly. Pockets! Dress is showing some wear, especially along the neckline and waist. And the white is dingy. It was not noticeable at the party with darker lighting or in photos. 

Size 0 not accommodating for a cup size of C or greater. Bust was tight but I didn't want to sacrifice the fit in the waist which would have occurred if I sized up to the 2. Gave it 4/5 stars due to the fact that some wrinkles would not come out even after ironing it myself. Will require pressing upon arrival as the fabric wrinkles easily. Don't bother trying to read the care tag as it is so faded you can't tell the proper way to de-wrinkle. Loved the dress - the skirt was so fun! Wore it with black and white pumps to the shower and black tights with black flats to the reception. Looked nice with both. Was repeatedly told how tiny my waist looked in the dress, likely due to the fitted nature of the top part of the dress (which in turn, causes the zipper to be trickier than others). Dress may require assistance to zip up if you don't routinely deal with invisible zippers. Overall, great dress for those with a straight or pear body type with the fitted top and full skirt. 

Great length and design, but the zipper gave me a hard time raising it, because it is pretty small in the chest area.

Gorgeous dress but the zipper issue is no joke. I thought I was going to break the zipper when trying to get the dress on... Had to have 2 people help. 

It was a little hard to zip up (not stretchy at all) but I have wide shoulders. 

People aren't lying when they are stating that this dress is tight in the upper region. I'm a B cup and normally wear a 4-6 size dress and I needed help zipping it all the way to the top. Once zipped it was fine, but if I was any bustier it most likely wouldn't have fit. I loved the fit besides that though, and the length and shoulder cut were perfect... added some cut heels and I was loving it! Unfortunately I didn't take too many pictures!

Busy runs small, wore 8 to zip up. I love Kate spade dresses!  I always feel beautiful in them! This is my third Kate spade dress rented. I love the pockets!

This dress was super pretty and comfy! It flares out a lot so there is a lot of fabric. The only thing I didn't like was the cotton fabric gets very wrinkly. So be prepared to do some ironing. 

This dress fit true to size. I wear a size 2 in most Kate Spade dresses and this one fit like a glove. I wore this dress to dinner and a cocktail party and it was perfect. 

I wore this to a friends bridal shower and received a ton of compliments! It was super comfortable and very flattering!! 

I wore this dress to my sister in laws shower. It fit perfect and was so beautiful but the black was a tiny bit faded. I was glad the 4 wasn't the right size  because that was my back up and it was very faded and had some cover up or makeup on the neckline. The 2 fit like a glove and was the perfect dress for the bridal shower we had in a barn. 

It was a great dress. Loved the pockets.   The reviews don't lie about the zipper, it is really hard to zip.  I would rent it again!

Fit really well! I have a large bust(32DD) and a small waist(25") so although the 2 fit well on my waist, it was too small for my bust so I went up to the 4. But the 4 wasn't too baggy or anything like that and fit well :-)

The bust was very tight so I had to wear the size up. The zipper was also a bit sticky.  With this material u did have to take to the dry cleaners to get the shipping wrinkles out.  Allow a day for that.  Other than those the dress was perfect!  So many compliments at my event!

Loved the style , fabric and color. A little tight in the bust area ( and I am pretty small) but the size 2 still worked! Got lots of compliments. Comfortable and playful. Rent it! 

This dress was true to fit. If you hAve a larger chest you should go up a size but it fit me perfectly. It sucks in your middle and makes you feel very skinny. I am definitely going to rent this again. 

I loved this dress. I would have rather worn the ten as the eight was a bit tight through the chest. However the zipper wouldn't work on the ten so I ended up wearing the eight. I wore it out to dinner with my husband and received many compliments. 

Once again I fell in love with a dress! I wore this to my friends wedding. It's so classic and I received many compliments. This dress fit me like a glove, extremely comfortable (fabric had some stretch). The pockets were a nice plus! I was able to wear a regular bar, there are bra tabs inside. The zipper is tricky and I needed some help. I wish I could own this one. Zooey Deschanel and Pippa Middleton wore this dress. 

The dress fit great, it was difficult to zip on my own since it was on the side, but true to size. The length was a lot longer on me because I'm short, but it was so comfortable and classy! 

I will definitely be renting from rent the runway again! The sizing does run small, so I would order your typical size and a size bigger. The dress's zipper was hard to zip as well. If you are planning on going to an event where you will be spinning or twirling, I would wear spandex because it does fly up. Hope my review helps! 

Such a great dress! The fit and flare style is so comfortable and easy to move in. It was a little tight around the rib cage and a tad difficult to zip but worked great!

I rented the size 0 and size 2 based on other reviews.  Ended up wearing the size 2.  It fit perfect and got lots of compliments on it.  I LOVE the pockets also.  

I didn't give this one a 5 because I just didn't LOVE it. I usually do love most of the RTR dresses I get but this missed the mark for me. First off, it was VERY difficult to zip up. Not because I am big trying to squeeze in it or anything like that. The hook on the top was sewn in backwards so I couldn't zip it up properly. I had to have my friend zip me up. Forget it if you're on your own. I am 5 3" and I felt the dress was swimming on me. 

The dress was a great style and would have given it 5 stars but the zipper was terrible. Hard to zip/unzip on the hanger and impossible to do once on. With my mom and boyfriend helping the couldn't get it zipped. So I had to take the dress on and off like a 2 year old over my head still zipped. I'm a curry girl and a mom so this dress hid that extra very well. Classic style and I loved the pockets

Even though both sizes fit me, I decided to wear the 6 because it gave me a bit more room around the waist and chest. The fabric is a thick cotton so it's extremely comfortable but also looks formal. My only complaint was the size zippers on both dresses were very hard to zip up. They kept getting stuck and I felt like I might rip the dress just trying to zip it up. Also, the size 6 was a bit stretched out around the neckline so it was a little baggy. I chose not to wear a necklace because the necklace didn't lay flat since the fabric was baggy. Other than that the dress was perfect and I was sad to return it! 

I absolutely love Kate Spade and this dress certainly hit the mark. I was going to a work event and I received compliments all night on this dress. It was the perfect combination of classy, feminine, and professional. 

Loved the fit and flared skirt.   Wore to a work event and it was perfect.   Lengthy was professional while still girlie.  The skirt was very full.   I did go up a size due to the bust.   I am a DDD so needed some more room.   This dress can be worn in the winter or summer.   Very comfy fabric. 

So the worst thing about this dress is its impossible to zip by yourself. The zipper needs at least three hands so I couldn't even try on the sizes until I had someone to help me, much less get dressed for the evening. The dress wasn't tight at all, but the zipper was so sticky and difficult. Once it was on, the fit was really comfortable and flattering.

I really loved this dress. It was cute and fun to wear. I always love pockets! I thought it was going to be tight in the bust, but the fabric gives enough stretch that it was very comfortable. I felt so cute and special. Would definitely rent this dress again.

I wore this dress to a fundraising event at my son's school and it was perfect!  The dress is more on the casual side, which was perfect for this event being in the late morning/early afternoon.  I am always very pleased with Kate Spade dress and this is no different.  The fit is pretty true to size or maybe on the smaller side.  I frequently wear a 00, but the 0 was the only size available and fit great!  The dress is made very well.  The only negative I have found with her dresses is they need to be pressed- especially to make the pleats stand out, but it is well worth the few dollars to have it done.  I was not planning on adding the sweater or tights, but it was an unexpectedly cool day and I think they went well.  Would definitely recommend this dress and any Kate Spade dress!

I absolutely loved the dress. It fit perfectly and was definitely true to size. It was a tiny bit longer than I expected, but I still thought the length was perfect. The only problem I had was the side zipper is extremely hard to get up, and you will definitely need someone to help zip it up. Other than that, I loved the dress and it looked awesome on. I can't wait to rent another! 

Fit great! I did have to steam it once out of the package. The material gets a little wrinkly.

First time using RTR and it was great! I ordered an 8 (my usual size) and a 10, the 8 fit perfectly. I have no complaints about this dress! Can't wait to rent again. :)

Base on other reviews, I ordered a 0 and 2. I should have ordered a 2 and 4. The bust area was very tight, and I am not a busty gal. I thought length was fine for 5'1". Just FYI- I did not wear snow boots the whole night, just to drop off babysitter! 

This dress runs small - if you have a larger bust, order a size up. I am glad that RTR sent a bigger size. The zipper was stiff, so I needed a friend to help me zip the dress up over the bust area, but once it zipped, WOW! The fabric is a thicker cotton feel, but it looks very classy up close and far away. I received compliments on the dress all night. The dress was great for a semi-formal benefit I attended for work. 

This dress fit perfectly! I got compliments all night. The fabric tends to wrinkle easily but it irons out smoothly. Perfect dress for my work Christmas party, I would definitely rent this dress again.
