It fit me like a glove.

This dress was true to fit. If you hAve a larger chest you should go up a size but it fit me perfectly. It sucks in your middle and makes you feel very skinny. I am definitely going to rent this again.

Once again I fell in love with a dress! I wore this to my friends wedding. It's so classic and I received many compliments. This dress fit me like a glove, extremely comfortable (fabric had some stretch). The pockets were a nice plus! I was able to wear a regular bar, there are bra tabs inside. The zipper is tricky and I needed some help. I wish I could own this one. Zooey Deschanel and Pippa Middleton wore this dress.

I will definitely be renting from rent the runway again! The sizing does run small, so I would order your typical size and a size bigger. The dress's zipper was hard to zip as well. If you are planning on going to an event where you will be spinning or twirling, I would wear spandex because it does fly up. Hope my review helps!

Even though both sizes fit me, I decided to wear the 6 because it gave me a bit more room around the waist and chest. The fabric is a thick cotton so it's extremely comfortable but also looks formal. My only complaint was the size zippers on both dresses were very hard to zip up. They kept getting stuck and I felt like I might rip the dress just trying to zip it up. Also, the size 6 was a bit stretched out around the neckline so it was a little baggy. I chose not to wear a necklace because the necklace didn't lay flat since the fabric was baggy. Other than that the dress was perfect and I was sad to return it!

I absolutely love Kate Spade and this dress certainly hit the mark. I was going to a work event and I received compliments all night on this dress. It was the perfect combination of classy, feminine, and professional.

Loved the fit and flared skirt. Wore to a work event and it was perfect. Lengthy was professional while still girlie. The skirt was very full. I did go up a size due to the bust. I am a DDD so needed some more room. This dress can be worn in the winter or summer. Very comfy fabric.

I really loved this dress. It was cute and fun to wear. I always love pockets! I thought it was going to be tight in the bust, but the fabric gives enough stretch that it was very comfortable. I felt so cute and special. Would definitely rent this dress again.

I wore this dress to a fundraising event at my son's school and it was perfect! The dress is more on the casual side, which was perfect for this event being in the late morning/early afternoon. I am always very pleased with Kate Spade dress and this is no different. The fit is pretty true to size or maybe on the smaller side. I frequently wear a 00, but the 0 was the only size available and fit great! The dress is made very well. The only negative I have found with her dresses is they need to be pressed- especially to make the pleats stand out, but it is well worth the few dollars to have it done. I was not planning on adding the sweater or tights, but it was an unexpectedly cool day and I think they went well. Would definitely recommend this dress and any Kate Spade dress!

I absolutely loved the dress. It fit perfectly and was definitely true to size. It was a tiny bit longer than I expected, but I still thought the length was perfect. The only problem I had was the side zipper is extremely hard to get up, and you will definitely need someone to help zip it up. Other than that, I loved the dress and it looked awesome on. I can't wait to rent another!

Fit great! I did have to steam it once out of the package. The material gets a little wrinkly.

First time using RTR and it was great! I ordered an 8 (my usual size) and a 10, the 8 fit perfectly. I have no complaints about this dress! Can't wait to rent again. :)

This dress fit perfectly! I got compliments all night. The fabric tends to wrinkle easily but it irons out smoothly. Perfect dress for my work Christmas party, I would definitely rent this dress again.

This was a backup dress, my original dress didn't fit and the stylist was super helpful in finding another. The fit of this dress is great, although if you have a bigger chest area, you may need to go up a size. I loved the longer hem. I'm 5'4" (with short legs) and it came to just above my knee. Also, the dress has little clasps inside near the shoulders so that your bra straps don't fall down your arms. A very thoughtful touch. Overall I was very happy with the dress and wish I could have kept it!

Zipping up the bust area was a bit tight, so I went with size 6 (good thing I got a size bigger as my backup). The dress sits really nicely on the shoulders and it's dressy but not too fancy. I wore it to a holiday party. Also it has pockets!!

"You are absolutely stunning in that dress!" was all I kept hearing all night. I don't usually wear simple or understated dresses, but this one is defined by the fit. It is classic and looks effortless. Add a pop lip color and you will stand out even in your black and white! The dress was absolutely true to size and is exactly how you see it in the picture. My only caution is that the white stripe across the chest is a magnet for stains so watch out!

The cut of this dress with panels was very slimming and fun to wear. I love dresses with pockets, and this one has great ones! It was fun to wear, and I got tons of compliments! I would absolutely wear this dress again!

This dress is so popular another girl had on the SAME dress at the wedding I went to! Loved it! Very timeless and classy! I usually wear a 12 and could've worn that one but the 14 fit fine! The chest wasn't too right at all! And it had pockets! Yet again another SUCCESS from Rent the Runway!

Fit like a glove- fell in love with this dress and didn't want to return it!. Loved the huge pockets! Received so many compliments! Only negative- it's hard to get on with an up-do since it has a side zipper (zipper was hard to work).

Loved this dress! Fit perfectly, and extremely comfortable. This is a perfect style for a petite. I am normally a 4P in dresses, so I was concerned that a regular size might be too big. Highly recommend to anyone who is under 5'4"!

I loved this dress! The zipper was VERY hard to get up though. (Not because it didn't fit, but getting over the seam was very hard and took two people to do it!) However, once it was on, I felt like I should've been in the 1950's! It was beautiful!

This dress was a real hit! The cut is reminiscent of 40s-50s, the fabric more structured to hide all manor of bulges. My regular size fit like a glove with the normal compression/support under garments. I decided to get my hair and make-up done in the glamour style of the 40s and got compliments on the ensemble all night! The waist is lovely and defined, the cut is comfortable, and the pockets were a fun and handy addition.

I rented this dress to wear for my graduation from medical school. It ran pretty true to size, but was a bit tight in the bust area. I probably would have gone up a size if I had a bigger chest, but the skirt floats away from the body so it's good for hiding a little extra around the middle! Overall, it was super comfortable and perfect for a spring/summer event since the material is nice and breathable. Looks really classy with not too much effort, and I got a ton of compliments all day long! If I had $400 to spare to buy one, I would definitely make this purchase. Highly recommended!

I wore this Kate Spade dress to a Derby Party and it was perfect. Pockets are fantastic and so was the cut. The fabric is a stiff brushed cotton that holds its shape very well, but also seems to attract lots of little hitchhikers. Make sure you have a lint brush handy before you step out the door.

Loved this dress! Wish I owned it but didn't want to buy since I'm still on my way down after having a baby. The fit was great. No spanx needed. So comfortable. As others have mentioned the zipper was funky but after multiple try-ons the dress gave a little and loosened up. Also, the arm hole was awkward and my black bra showed some( probably bc of my large chest) but not a big deal. Did run into issues with dress availability. I ordered a 12 (which I had tried on in a retail store and knew it fit a month prior) and a 10(in case I lost weight). My event was Saturday and since I know one would fit I had them set to arrive on Friday. On Thursday night I received an email stating the 12 wasn't available. I called the next day and they overnights 2 more dresses. Fortunately the 10 fit perfectly but had it not, I would have been scrambling to make the new dress work with the accessories I had bought for the original dress. This is my one concern with the company. Other than that problem everything was perfect.

I wore this dress for a Benefit, just under formal attire and it was amazing!! The dress is so flattering for large bust and hips. I just had my 4th baby so it covered all my "problem" areas and I could do it with class. I received so many compliments all night long. I would LOVE to purchase this dress... Seriously, oh and it has pockets so that's a huge bonus for me.

Fit runs a bit large, go a size down. The style may be longer than what some prefer but it worked from my event at the kids' school.

Fit nicely, loved the pockets and the free flow of it all. I made my look old Hollywood by adding loose curls and red lips.

The bust was very tight so I had to wear the size up. The zipper was also a bit sticky. With this material u did have to take to the dry cleaners to get the shipping wrinkles out. Allow a day for that. Other than those the dress was perfect! So many compliments at my event!

I loved this dress. I would have rather worn the ten as the eight was a bit tight through the chest. However the zipper wouldn't work on the ten so I ended up wearing the eight. I wore it out to dinner with my husband and received many compliments.

The dress fit great, it was difficult to zip on my own since it was on the side, but true to size. The length was a lot longer on me because I'm short, but it was so comfortable and classy!

Such a great dress! The fit and flare style is so comfortable and easy to move in. It was a little tight around the rib cage and a tad difficult to zip but worked great!

I rented the size 0 and size 2 based on other reviews. Ended up wearing the size 2. It fit perfect and got lots of compliments on it. I LOVE the pockets also.

So the worst thing about this dress is its impossible to zip by yourself. The zipper needs at least three hands so I couldn't even try on the sizes until I had someone to help me, much less get dressed for the evening. The dress wasn't tight at all, but the zipper was so sticky and difficult. Once it was on, the fit was really comfortable and flattering.

Base on other reviews, I ordered a 0 and 2. I should have ordered a 2 and 4. The bust area was very tight, and I am not a busty gal. I thought length was fine for 5'1". Just FYI- I did not wear snow boots the whole night, just to drop off babysitter!
