100% would rent again. Fit perfect, so comfortable and got compliments all night! I was a little skeptical on how it would fit based on other reviews but the 2 was perfect! Definitely a bit tight around the chest but it felt more secure than uncomfortable. Wish I could keep it!!! 

the cut was a little too low for my liking, so i pinned it at the shoulders and then used fashion tape to keep everything in place. besides that, it was comfortable and breathable. The fabric was sturdy and would definitely recommend!

I love midi dresses! This one in particular fit great around the bust (I'm a 32 D) and flared out to a perfect length. The material is heavy and well made. I got tons of compliments and would love to wear it again.

This was my favorite rental, so far! The dress fit like a glove and I felt stunning. I got compliments all night long and gushed about rent the runway, as usual. The pockets were perfect for my phone and lipstick, so I didn't need a purse, and the dress is gorgeous in person. The full skirt is just full enough without being "retro" and the tiny gold dots on the fabric added just the right amount of glam. I'm glad I rented a necklace, too, as the neckline is definitely a show stopper. Will rent again, for sure!

I rented this for a Kentucky Derby party - though the fabric is heavy it was perfect for an early spring day in Boston. As others have noted, there is no stretch and the bust can be a little tight. I usually wear a size 6 but sized up to 8 because the 6, while I was able to zipper it, felt a little constricting around my ribs. I had to get creative to get it zippered so it helps if someone is around! It's tea length so works better with heels - I tried low wedges but opted in the end for strappy heels. All in all a great dress and I got lots of compliments! 

Two separate people told me this dress reminded them of Audrey Hepburn style and it made my night! I have a little bit bigger bust so it was a little tight for me there, but I wore a regular bra with no problem. The gold in the fabric really stands out, way more than in the model photo, which adds a pop to a classic shape. You definitely need heels with the tea-length cut to give your legs some extra length. The skirt is great for dancing and the pockets are fabulous. I'd highly recommend this for some classic, easy glamour!

This dress has a super flattering fit to it. I am curvy and the size 8 fit me perfectly. I would recommend sizing down if you have a small waist. I am fairly busty and the dress fit great. I used some double sided tape to prevent any fashion disasters but I was able to wear a normal bra with it. 

This dress was classic. I received so many compliments all night. I loved the tea length of the dress because it makes you stand out from the rest. It fit a little tight right at the waist, but I am widest in my ribcage so that is a common issue. However it zipped and still looked great! The pockets were so fun too! I would wear this again.

I ordered a 4 and 6 and went with the larger size, I'd definitely recommend getting your alternate size a size up from your normal size. Nevertheless the dress was gorgeous, thick material, and very flattering. I highly recommend the dress because of its 60s housewife-esque shape. I received a lot of compliments throughout the night. 

5'6" about 147lbs. Wear a 6 on top and usually an 8 on the bottom. Rented the six and fit very well; I didn't try the 8. The fabric is stunning. A slightly heavy black puckered fabric with gold dots inside each pucker. The skirt is full and the dress feels expensive. The lining is appropriate. Hits right below the knee on me. Larger hips and thighs are hidden, and you can eat as much dessert as you want.

Could be cons: like other reviewers the hanger straps are hard to keep hidden, i wrapped around my bra but it still popped out at one point. Maybe fabric tape to dress? If you have larger boobs, you may have a good amount of cleavage. I'm a 34B and it fit well without cleavage.

I would definitely rent again, and would love to own.

The dress fit true to size, it's beautiful in person. I absolutely loved this dress, it has a retro feel and I love it! I wish I could buy this dress, that's how much I loved it! It's perfect for a Holiday party, very classy and beautiful! 

The fit was great and true to size. I was worried about the length with my height but it ended up being perfect! The A-line to the dress was perfect, making it really comfortable and practical to move around in.

This dress fits very nicely in the bust/waist area, but it's pretty wide and long on the bottom, which doesn't quite suite me. Sophisticated and comfortable though. 

This dress was a great value for an inexpensive rental.  I wore it for an April wedding with an outdoor ceremony, kept my legs warm and it's lined so the extra fabric give me a little extra warmth.  Even the though the pattern is fairly plain, black with gold polka dots, the extra stitch details around the top, pockets, etc classed it up.  It was easy to wear- just threw on some dangly earrings and black pumps.  I'm typically a 0 or 2 so ordered both, thinking I'd be a 2 since many people said it ran big.  Well, I'm glad I had a belt that matched because the 0 was still a little large on top for me.  I'm fairly small chested so if I wan't careful you could see my bra at times.  I had fun in the dress though and the tea length made me feel a little more elegant.  I would recommend this to someone my size but slightly larger in the chest since I really didn't feel completely confident in it.

While I loved the material, I almost didn't wear this dress. The dress poofs out a bit at the waist, and I thought it made my spare tire/hips look bigger instead of slimming them. I ended up wearing it and am happy I did, as I received lots of compliments!  The dress was pretty tight in the bust area, so very chesty ladies: be prepared to show some cleavage! The material is pretty heavy, which was great for a winter wedding, and there are nice pockets as well.

I don't think the pic on the model shows it well, but the dress has noticeable gold spots, not black or silver as I had thought. I took a close up picture to highlight that a bit better.  Overall, a cute option for a wedding or party!

Beautiful dress- great detail. Great for a winter concert (what I wore it to). A little tight in the chest but not too bad. 

Loved this dress! Fit very true to size. Material is heavier weight so perfect for a more formal cocktail event in the colder months.  Has no stretch so I sized up for my 2nd size, but wore my true size 8. I wore with more modern strappy shoes (like the model) to not look too retro. Totally worth the rent! Loved it! 

It is such a flattering cut and style. It was long enough for me (5'10") and the material was very forgiving. The whole thing was so cute!

This was BEAUTIFUL. I loved the length and fullness of skirt so much. Gold dots and shimmery but subtle. The chest/straps were a bit big, would be better for someone with a bigger chest/broader shoulders. 

This was a great dress! It hit me below the knee which I liked. Loved the gold details and the pockets! I also love a good fluffy dress :)

I wore this to an evening wedding in Berkeley, CA. I'm only 5' 0", but the dress looked elegant at shin length. I had to wear it without a bra because I'm a 34D. 

This is one of my favorite dresses I've ever rented from RTR. It was so simple but the skirt is structured and full to make your waist line look smaller - and it has pockets! True sparkly polka dots are subtle and so fun, and make this the next level of LBD. The 6 fit perfectly, but unfortunately the zipper arrived broken and I loved the dress so much I snuck into the 4 so I could wear it.

I LOVED this dress. The fabric was perfect for a fall wedding. The fit could not have been better. Super comfortable all night and lots of fun to dance in. I got so many compliments. The gold dots looked better in person. The top wasn't too revealing for me, but I could see how it could be in some situations. I loved that it had little hooks to hold my bra straps so I could wear a regular bra. Such a great dress and can't beat the price. 

I loved the way this dress fit!  It was super comfortable all night. The pockets were the icing on the cake!  It's hard to tell in the photo but it does have a slightly deep neckline, but it's very tasteful. I loved that I could wear a normal bra with it too! 

I am 5 foot tall 145 pounds 36C and I got a size 6 and a 4! The 6 fit PERFECTLY ! The size 4 was just a tad snug, I am more bottom heavy but the bust was way too tight! I love that this dress had pockets and I loved the length of it. I felt so glamorous and so confidant.  The neckline is pretty low, but I felt okay "exposed" !

This dress was exactly what I was expecting. I'm a 34 dd and it fit great, I even got to wear a regular bra with it...huge plus. Very flattering in the chest and mid section. Perfect for a wedding or holiday. It has pockets!! Love! This is my second rental and I'll be so excited for my third. 

Loved this dress! The subtle gold detail, the scooping on the chest, the wide skirt. It was PERFECT for a wedding. Paired with pearls and black sling backs. Would rent again if I need a good, and classy LBD. 

I was worried it would be too tight in the chest area, but the dress fit perfectly. Hid the post-baby tummy nicely. It was nice not needing to wear a body shaper. 

Loved this dress! I went with the larger dress I ordered because the bust was a little tight (32c). I'm 5'3 & loved the length! The full skirt was so comfy and fun. I was sad to send it back!!! 

This dress was perfect for a fall wedding. The fabric is thick and great quality- loved the gold woven in! I loved the tea length and the pockets! Everyone asked where I got this dress!! I did wear the bigger size because of the bust, a little right for us bustier gals. Overall, would definitely wear again!! 

I really loved the fit of this dress. It is tighter through the bust, which was a good thing for me. The fabric is heavy, I was never hot though. The whole process was easy. 

I rented this for a semi-formal gala.  What a great find.  The price is a steal!  The biggest plus of the night - ditching my purse - the pockets are large enough to hold your phone, lipstick, you name it - enormous!  The fabric is textured - a fun black texture with gold dots.  I rented a pearl statement necklace and it was a beautiful complement.  Classic, elegant, comfortable.  You can wear a bra comfortably without worrying about staps.

I am 5' 10", and I liked the modest cut on the knee.  I was a little surprised at how low cut the dress was; be prepared to show a bit of cleavage. It was very flattering with the A-line and forgiving if you have a bit too much wedding cake.

Loved everything about this dress. They didn't have my size so I rented a size up and a size down and ended up going with the size down. Bust was tight so I just didn't wear a bra and didn't feel uncomfortable at all and you couldn't tell the dress was a little snug. Wore with gold shoes and thin gold jewelry. Got tons of compliments and would definitely wear again.

This dress is so pretty! The material is such great quality. I ordered a size 4 but ended up wearing the size 2. Size 2 fit much better but was a bit tight around my arms. Size 4 was a bit too loose in the chest (I'm only 34B) and around the waist. I will definitely rent from RTR again in the future! It was such a great experience. 

The 2 fit me better, as I usually wear a 2 in dresses, but the zipper was broken upon arrival.  The dress would be perfect for a winter event - the thickness of the dress plus gold polka dots.  However, I wore it to a summer wedding with pink pumps and it worked great! Very comfortable, able to wear a real bra with it with no problems at all!

Dress is beautiful, fabric is thick and gold dots make it look even better.
However, I'm a size 6 but usually can wear a 4 or 8 depending on the brand.
6 in this dress was unavailable, so I tried size 4 & 8.
4 was too tight and 8 was too lose.
Also, dress is nice but I think it'd work better for informal events. Almost too basic for a wedding.
I would rent again if 6 becomes available.

Not flattering for me at all. I am a size 8/10 with a larger bust. Not sure if it was the high waist and the flared bottom, but it made me look several sizes larger than I actually am. 

Great dress. Go many compliments. If I would rent again I would rent the 4. The dress was tight in the ribs. Bust size 32 would be perfect in 0 or 2, size 34 should get a 4.

I wore this for the rehearsal dinner of a wedding. I loved it! It was a little tight around the rib cage in the size 0. The 2 would have given me more breathing room but the skirt part on the 2 felt too full/wide. Overall would recommend!

The bodice was quite snug, which would make it possible to go without a bra. The neckline is quite low cut. The material is thick and heavy, which feels expensive. Deep pockets were great. It was a little longer on me that I would have liked. I'm 5'5" and the 6 came well below my knees, but overall it was a very beautiful dress. 

I wore this dress to my brother-in-laws wedding.  It was a perfect dress for a fun evening.  I am usually between a size 8 and 10.  I chose to go with the 10 and 12(as my back up) based off the other reviews of the fit in the chest area.  I am a 34DD and was afraid that the dress would be extra tight on me, I had no issues fitting into the dress.  I was able to wear a normal bra, I actually wore a push up bra.  It did give lots of cleavage so I don't recommend that unless you are looking to add to the cleavage.  Like a couple of other reviews I read the waist does hit around the rib cage.  I have a long waist it didn't really bother me except if I sat for a long time.  The only issue I had with both dresses was that the zipper would get stuck right where the waist cinches in as it is thicker material and it made seem as though the dress was too tight but I still had plenty of room. Overall I loved this dress and am very happy that I chose this one.

Beautiful dress with great gold polka dot detail and pockets! Loved the length and style, and it was great for a winter event because the fabric is very thick. However, there is NO STRETCH at all, and the bust was really tight on me.  If you have a large bust, I'd definitely recommend sizing up.

The fit was lovely - well lined, great structure, and built well for girls with an hourglass shape. I loved how thick the material was, and how the neckline fit perfectly. 

This dress fit great and was super comfortable. I didn't have to think about my outfit, no fidgeting or tugging. Loved the length and pockets!! 

I had originally ordered this dress for a friend's birthday party.  About a week prior I received notice that the evening birthday party had been pushed back by a week but I had another friend's bowling party earlier that same day.  I figured...why not wear a dress to a fancy bowling alley?  The length allowed me to play Giant Jenga and bowl without any issues.  Super comfortable and I could easily move and twirl and throw a ball.  I ordered the 10 and 12 - wore the 12.  There is no give in the waist (around 31" waist).  I wore a strapless bra but could have easily worn a regular bra (hidden strap holders in the dress).   It can be dressed up with a little bit of a heel or go with a flat (I wore leopard print flats at the start of the night then bowling shoes - still cute).

The pictures show me in the size 2. This dress runs large - I normally wear a 6. I ended up wearing the 4 because the fabric has no stretch at all, and it really isn't for larger breasts. The white arrow shows how it smashes my chest. I have a small rib cage and was able to wear a regular bra even in the 2, but that might be an issue for others. The black arrow shows that the waist hit me on my ribs, much higher than my natural waist, and I'm short-torso-ed for being 5'8". This made the 2 very snug, which is another reason I went with the 4, since the 4 hit about an inch lower (still pretty high).

In the second picture, you can see that the fabric would do a really good job of hiding a problem tummy (or postpartum fluffiness), but if you don't have this issue normally, it can make you look like you have gained a bit of weight.

I was able to wear this dress to church in the morning all the way through our Valentine's date at night. It was windy and about 30 degrees F; the thick fabric was nice and warm - probably wouldn't be a great dress for a hot day. The pockets were neat, but I didn't actually use them (except for when I put my hands in them for the first picture).

To sum up: I really liked it. I probably won't rent again because it's not super-flattering for my body.

The top was a little tight, so if you have large girls beware. I'm definitely not well in dowd, but still had cleavage. Chesty women might need to go up a size.  Besides that it was a wonderful dress, easy to wear and very flattering. I would definitely recommend it for a variety of events.

My absolute favorite rental. Wore a regular bra. Caged heels were a nice suggestion by RTR (I went with ankle straps), and I chose a large baubly pearl necklace based on other reviewers' pictures. I can't believe this is one of the more affordable rentals. It felt rich and I felt like a million bucks. Very flattering dress!

For the most part I loved this dress.  It looked great with a belt and touches of gold, and the length of the dress looks great on tall ladies like myself.  Overall my biggest complaint was that the material had no give to it and the chest was pretty tight (I wear a 36D that usually fits in size 12s).  I got a lot of compliments on it regardless of having some of my bust coming out the top, or maybe that was why I was getting the compliments to begin with :)  

I loved this length and the POCKETS!! I kept my phone and lipstick in my pockets. It was great!  I am short waisted, but definitely needed my black plunge bra. Loved that I could wear a regular bra and still have a classy amount of cleavage. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again! 

I rented this dress for a holiday party and it was perfect! A little on the fancier end just because of the length and fullness of the skirt, but it was super comfortable +  had POCKETS! Need I say more? I rented mystery bling and they sent perfect gold rings that picked up on the metallic gold dots throughout the dress. I paired it with my own long gold necklace and red heels. 

This dress was a bit tight in the chest and definitely showed a bit of cleavage. I was afraid to not wear a bra, so I wore a minimizing bra. If I could do it again I would not wear a bra. The fabric is thick, so it would not have been noticeable. The skirt is full and it has pockets, which I loved!
