I ordered this dress as a replacement since another dress that came did not suit me. This worked out well!

Was looking for a last minute dress for a semi-formal gala event. I wanted something not too dressy, but simple and elegant. This dress is perfect! 

Pros: True to size. Comfortable and easy to wear. Can wear a strapless bra and won't peek out. 

Cons: The looped string for hanger is hard to keep from showing. Wish I had time to pin it down. Zipper is hard to pull up. I was able to do it myself but was not easy. Easier if someone can help you zip it up!

Got this dress as a last minute replacement. I wore it out to a nightclub. very classy and sleek. I had to put some effort into zipping it (up the chest area on the side) I wish there was more give to the fabric but it ended up working out nicely. Had to go completely commando underneath! 

Very form-fitting classic black dress, but with added flare of side cut out. The length was nearly down to knee, so if you don't love your thighs, this is good fit for you. I found it to be sexy and fun. I received many compliments . I wore it to a semi-formal charity event btw. Semi-formal was not option to select as occasion on RTR. 

I actually didn't end up wearing this anywhere. I rented it for a Vegas trip along with a couple other things. This looked nice but was so tight on me it was hard to sit or move in.

I was worried that this dress would highlight my body flaws but actually it was very flattering. I love that it gave me the appearance of more of a waist than I actually have. It wasn’t tight on me at all, but still was difficult to zip. I guess just cause it is a side zip. 

Even as a bigger curvier girl, I felt really good in this dress. Definitely needed some shapewear for the gut and thighs. 
The slit would show my strapless bra in some positions and I feel like I had to make some adjustments through the night, and the sleeve was pretty tight, but it was manageable. 
I would rent this dress again. Actually, I would love to buy this dress. I just felt really good.

Dress was a hit!I typically wear a 6-8 and the 8 fit perfectly. It was a lil snug around the hips but it stayed put and didn't have to adjust anything throughout night.  Great material overall.  Compliments all night!

I'm kind of between sizes at the moment, 8/10 and M/L, I'm 5'3" and 155# and have had a baby so my lower abdomen is squishy and soft and my boobs aren't great. I've never done RTR and was nervous, particularly about this dress because I didn't want to look like a busted can of biscuits squeezing out of the cutout. But y'all. This dress made me feel AMAZING it was so flattering and I got ALL the compliments. I am sad I don't own it but I will definitely rent it again if an occasion comes up. The 8 was tight and the 10 was loose in the bust and comfortable everywhere else. I could eat, drink beer, dance, and sit without feeling like I was going to bust a seam. It's amazing. Rent it!

Got lots of compliments on this one. I'm 5'2 and was worried it would be too long, but ended up working great as a classy LBD. Very comfortable and held up great on the dance floor.

The cutouts are in the right places. It's long enough that I didn't have to worry about the dress riding up. I usually wear size 12 and this was a true fit. Only challenge is that the sleeve is tight, I couldn't raise my arm above my shoulder. I felt confident wearing the dress, as it complimented my figure!

This dress made my straight body look like it has some semblance of curves!  The quality of the material allows for a snug but forgiving fit which is exactly what I need (don’t we all?).  I did have some minor issues with the dress I had rented but I ordered late & didn’t have time to request a replacement.  The sleeve had a small (but not too noticeable pull).  Also, I guess one of the previous renters cut out the hanger loops so they shipped the dress on one of those “pinch” hangers that marked up the material a bit which is sad because this is truly a great dress.  The marks weren’t too noticeable so I still wore the dress & got lots of compliments.

I have a petite frame - this fit very well, off the shoulder and side cut out provided nice touch.  I wore this to a Spring Gala  event and it had the right mix of sophistication meets cocktail dress - great for dancing.

I really loved the look of this dress, so comfortable and slimming. I got compliments all night. I normally wear a size 8 or 10 pants, but I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant so the 12 worked perfectly. The dress was great quality. 

Believe the other reviews--this dress is amazing! Wore it to a NYE wedding and it was the perfect choice for me. Usually wear a 10 but recently lost a little weight and squeezed into the 8 :) Dress is SUPER comfortable, only thing is the arm is a little tight but still felt like I was able to dance all night! Have a large chest (DD) but didn't even have to wear a bra. I'm petite (5'1) but the length was just right. Definitely recommend if you're going for a show-stopping, sexy LBD!

This dress was incredible, I rented it for a new years eve event where I was working at the door (classy club event), and let's just say I broke a lot of hearts in this dress! It was comfortable and flattering, I have a bigger chest and was able to wear a strapless bra with it comfortably. It was a bit longer on me than I expected because I'm so short, but I think it added to the classiness of the dress, while the slit still kept the skirt flirty. This is a dress I would seriously consider purchasing as my go-to LBD!

This dress knocked it out of the park!  I'll admit that I first found it at Rack, but they only had one left, and it was too big.  I thought the fit on the arm was pretty snug in the 8, but when I saw it on RTR, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try it in the correct size - glad I did!  Great fit (the arm was not too tight), so fun to wear, and I received a lot of compliments about how different it was, as far as black dresses go.  Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed wearing this dress for a NYE  wedding. It was a bit snug in the butt and arms and also a bit loose in the waist, but this didn't bother me, as I think the dress was overall a near-perfect fit. Wore a black, strapless bra, which poked out at the top of the cutout sometimes. Again, this was a very minor inconvenience, and not very noticable. Would defintely rent again.

This dress fit like a dream! The fabric clung in all the right places, and was thick enough that I did not have to wear a bra. The slit and the cutout added a little bit of drama, but I still felt very comfortable at my event. One annoying thing about the dress would have to be the hanger strap on the sleeve side. It kept popping out of my dress all night. If I had known that was going to happen, I would have taped it down to the fabric prior to going out. (You can see it popping out in this picture.) Besides that, the dress was perfect for a nice New Year’s Eve party! I got a ton of compliments on it all night.

I'm curvy so dresses can be tricky. But the cut and material were so flattering.  I would most certainly suggest this dress to someone who wanted to feel sexy and confident! 

I rented two dresses for a last minute event. Went to the flagship store in Chelsea NYC to pick them up. Tried both on and neither fit right. Sales associate found this beauty for me! This dress runs a little small so I recommend you get a size up. 

This dress is comfortable to move in and easy to style. Wore it with some strappy nude open toe heels and it looked great! It is sexy but not too sexy. The bust area fit me a little big because im a 32A so that's to be expected. I loved wearing this dress!

Pretty asymmetrical dress with a sexy side slit and leg slit but still office party appropriate. The dress had signs of wear with a 3 inch hole in a side seam I had to stitch up before wearing.

I LOVED this dress! It's sexy and classy at once and very flattering. I wore this to a wedding in October. I rented the 4 and 6 and I wore the 4. The 6 was definitely too big but the 4 fit perfectly. I was concerned with it bunching when I sat down, and it did a bit but can be easily smoothed to not appear that way. The fabric is thick and since its black it's very slimming. I wore it with a strapless bra, I felt like braless would not have been enough support (I'm a 34C). I got a ton of compliments during the nigh and I would absolutely rent this again! 

This dress was super sleek and sexy! I felt really cool in it. Like some other reviewers said, the sleeve was pretty tight, but if you have slim to normal arms, it shouldn’t be a problem. The fabric was thick and flattering (no undergarments required). This is a knockout LBD!

I got a lot of compliments for this dress. It fit well and the cutouts were sexy but not too revealing. I wore a convertible bra with one strap and used some Hollywood tape to make sure the sleeveless side stayed put. The material was a little cheap/scratchy feeling but you didn't really notice once you had the dress on.

Loved the dress , got a ton of compliments! For shorter foals, the fit is a tiny bit off. As you can see it's a bit longer on me than the model. It was very comfortable save for the hanger straps hanging out all night. Almost wished I would've garment taped them inside. I was constantly fixing them. Otherwise, very chic look for a cocktail party or evening wedding.

I rented this dress for my anniversary dinner and it was a stunner. The slit does come up fairly high when seated but wasn't an issue. The fabric feels substantial and holds well (good bc I decided to not wear a bra) I loved this dress!

This little black dress was a perfect choice for a 40th birthday party! It's sassy and classy all in one. It runs true size and has a little stretch to it. I received compliments all night. You won't be disappointed!

Loved this dress! I wore it to a black tie wedding. Got so many compliments! The slit on the side is so flattering and the sleeve makes the dress unique and different! True to size. However the sleeve was very tight so I had to go up a size for comfort in the arm. But would recommend this dress! 

I got a lot of compliments on this dress. It is well made and felt, and looked like a $300 dress. My only two small things to note would be that it does hike up (so watch the slit when on the move) and if you don't have the boobs, I could see the sleeve sliding some. Other than that I absolutely adored it. TY RTR!
